Party Party Party

Selene plopped to the ground as James went away to get drinks. "There he goes again..." She said, leaning backwards and looking around the party. Everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves, and Elaine had shown up to the party, which was no doubt going to make this party a lot more interesting.

Blinking and wondering how he avoided a collision, James must've imagined it. Although with the falcon faunus, he tried to smile at Amy as he headed back to where Selene was waiting. ...Dia seemed to have walked off though.

"I-I'm q-quite alright, I-I mean, I-I could be b-better, but...I-I'm guessing you've been h-having sort of s-similar issues...?"

Putting down the drinks on the table, he sat down near the feline faunus, nodding at Amy to do the same.

"S-S-Sorry to m-make you wait..."

"I can sit down here right?" the wolf Faunus asked.

Lena crossed her arms, frowning at being reminded of "blowing up the dorm". She didn't mean to do it, shiznit!

Still, she didn't say anything about that. "Right. Well, his name was Mikey Something. Blue hair, fought with a floating chair-slash-battle platform. Tacky as all hell."

Elaine kissed back, making her tongue right at home. She pulled back a full minute later and winked.

"Whatever you say, Firecracker. Although, I do wonder if you can handle all of me."

Party

Scarlet grinned and broke away, beginning to slowly saunter off before sending a playful smile back over her shoulder. "I guess the only way you'll find out is by helping me find the nearest private room. Wouldn't you say?" She teased, lightly tugging on the chain still attached to the other girl.

"I-I-I wouldn't b-be m-making the s-suggestion if I d-didn't want you t-to. A-And I'm sure, um, Selene doesn't m-mind." James meekly commented, glancing around.

...Although Diana might, but she isn't here for the moment.

Putting down the drinks on the table, the youth glanced to the side. "S-So, um, h-how's things...y-you know, b-been with you t-two...?"

Tempestas 29 - Krigsvart Party

Gage noticeably perked up when Dia came over. He blinked in puzzlement at what his green-haired partner had to say. "I know we've a new girl." If anything, it seemed that Violet had something of a low opinion when it came to the delinquent.

"All luck to Lord Stutters," Gage put his cutlery away, eyeing the loaded table again. "But if I know anything, he's got the chops for it. And speaking of chops," his green eyes wandered over to where Duncan was setting up an area for himself and the actual robot, Halle, for a spar.

Since the incident at the Aquarium, Gage made fast friends with the big Highlander over their shared love of Remnant's pro-wrestling scene, not to mention their hard-hitting fighting styles. He hopped off his seat and sauntered over to the improvised ring, a cupcake seemingly rolling out of his sleeve.

Dia acknowledged Gage's response. She wasn't sure about how he felt about Violet, or how Vi felt about him. But hopefully Violet would warm up to him.

Dia also saw Gage eye Duncan. (Yep, the two would definitely be friends with each other. I'll let them talk =))

Dia sauntered back to James, noticing Selene and Amethyst. "Good day to both of you."

She then turned to James. Seeing that he looked like he was in a beer mood, she inquired with a slight smile on her face. "Hello again. You feeling better?"

She didn't want to inquire about Fe yet, knowing that James was rather... sensitive about team members being replaced.

Amethyst sat down. "So how's stuff been for you guys?" she said. "Things are a bit chaotic right now..."

Party

The gears in Duncan's head began to turn as he tried to figure out why Halle and Marvin would want him gone. Clearly they weren't down to fight, or do anything else that Duncan was really interested in doing.

Then it finally clicked.

Blanching slightly, Duncan managed to say "Oh. Ohhhhh... I see now. I'll, uh, leave you to it then. Neither of you are really my type, so can't say I'd join even if I was interested." With that, Duncan pulled his shirt back on before carefully picking Baron up off the floor (being too rough with the jacket tended to hurt) and closing the door behind him on the way out.

Walking up to Gage, Duncan said "I'd stay out of there if I were you brother"

Tempestas 29

"You went to an aquarium?" Yan said. "Fuck! I want to see the dolphins! I mean, the sharks! But mostly the dolphins."

A quick glance across the room, wondering if that robot he'd almost crashed into had noticed them, James turned back to Dia, taking a small sip from his glass.

"I-I'm alright, r-really. I-I mean, I-I guess it c-could be far worse...but I'm okay..." James quietly replied to the green-haired gal, his eyes glancing over at the wolf.

"...B-Busy. A-A lot of p-paperwork to m-manage and deal w-with, actually..."

"I hope things can get better, James." Dia said in a comforting tone.

Dia answered Amythest's question with a small smile that hid a bit of worry. "They've been going pretty well. I'm getting to know the others and their abilities. Although Fe had to leave... but we have a new team member."

Selene took a sip of her drink casually before setting it down again. "Things have been good over on my end... Just wish stuff would stop happening to my clothes... I had just gotten some new ones and all then Jo decides to build a fuckin bomb..." She let out a small sigh.

"Pretty good for me as well, got some new eyes, which I guess is not really something most people here would be able to understand what that's like, but they should help me around here, higher zoom" , Suzune replied scratching the side of her head.

Tempestas 29 - Krigsvart Party

Gage made a face. In the language of fighting men everywhere, there were various ways Gage and Duncan could communicate. "That's lame." He concluded, taking a bite out of his cupcake. "When you set the ring up regulation size and everything."

"I know." Amethyst said with a sigh. "And I'm not sure if I'm hitting it off with my new team very well."

Party

Duncan nodded as he began to gently pull Baron back on "Yeah, it sucks. Was all hyped n' ready to go too. Woulda been more fun with a proper ring and everythin', but I've learned to improvise over the years"

Shrugging, Duncan added "Been meanin' to get one of those portable rings anyways, helps with makin' casual bouts look nicer. Can't even hit my finisher proper without turnbuckles anyways."

"...Well, just as long as the newcomer can keep up and isn't...reckless to the point of getting us into trouble...I probably can't really complain. Haven't talked to her, though, I guess she's a bit...difficult." James quietly nodded at Dia, taking a rather heavy swig from his glass.

He seemed in slightly higher spirits than before glancing over at Selene, blushing fairly bright. "I-I c-could, um, l-lend you a b-bit of money if you need to g-go shopping again. I-I mean, on y-your own, s-since I'm not...really t-the person t-to ask about how good clothes, um, look."

...That, and avoiding a misunderstanding with Diana would mean he'd have a bit less of a headache as he turned his attention to the fox...robot.

"H-How high o-of a zoom are we t-talking? I-I mean, m-microscopic and a-able to see r-really fine d-details? And, w-well, some people m-might, if they ended u-up losing an eye and wanted to be a cyborg...t-thing. I-I'm quite happy having p-perfect vis- I-I mean, w-wearing g-glasses." The boy nervously replied to Suzune, trying to change the subject as the mopey wolf caught his ear.

"I-I'm sure y-you'll b-be getting a-along with and w-working together w-with them in no time, u-um, Amy."

"No, not that high" The gynoid giggled before composing herself a bit, "Still impressive pieces of tech though, basically a sniper scope built into my eyes, its not like I bother using a scope with bolt from the blue..."

James couldn't help but give a slight smile. "W-W-Well, c-considering t-that w-weapon of y-yours is p-probably g-going to pack one heck o-of a punch at a d-distance, I-I guess you h-have a point, since h-having t-too much...magnification w-would be k-kind of overkill a-anyway, I'm guessing. And, l-like you said, u-using an, um, s-scope would t-take t-too long."

"I'm sure that Violet would be great to talk with. She's rather talkative but she's a nice person from my conversations with her."

Dia sat back as she reminisced and pondered a bit when Wren talked about recklessness. (Damn... I don't know... why did I have to be so rough? But I wanted it dead and I didn't want any more people to become it's victims... am I really like this when I fight the Grimm?)

Dia turned around to cheer up Amy. With a faint smile, she responded: "I'm sure you'll be able to get along very well with your team, Amy. You'll be making new friends and Allies in no time."

"B-Being t-talkative is o-one thing. A-Actually, um, l-listening is...w-well, k-kind of l-like G-Gage I guess, m-might not actually l-listen or r-respect the other person w-who talks back..." James sighed, looking a little frustrated.

Of course, with Dia wondering looking thoughtful, he tilted his head.

"...is something wrong?"

Hungry.

With nothing else to do, Samuel decided to head over to the food table to eat. Naturally, he found Gage there - as well as somebody else. Duncan, his mind supplied, though he didn't know him. May as well start.

"Strange. Normally you're ripping your food into chunks, Gage. What changed?"

Tempestas 29 - Krigsvart Shindig

"Those're pretty sweet," Gage thought about the portable turnbuckle sets the Beasts usually had underlings cart around and grinned with a mouthful of chocolate cupcake. "When you get it, lemme know. Always wanted to spar with one of the indy brothers."

Then they were joined by Sam. Gage stretched, resting his hands on the back of his head. "I dunno, Sam. Me in a place like this? I'll turn a buffet to rubble, but Morgan's folks did invite us. Doesn't seem right to go the whole hog..."
