The episodes have been airing out of order for a while now. The episode where Harley Quinn moved to metropolis aired after an episode where she already went to school there, for starters.
Even projected episodes aren't safe. The episode where Lois Lane exposed the girls was supposed to be the Hal and Carol episode originally.
I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't meant to be a season finale (though I don't know which episode should be it either) but either way it's way less bombastic than other multi-parters which are show's finest.

Last year, Ben Jones (the producer in charge of post production) revealed the production order for the episodes that aired at the time (of June 2019). "Sweet Justice" is produced as episodes 6-9 despite being the pilot that sets the show up. We may not truly know the real order of the episodes .
Edit: According to the Futon Critic, "Awesome Aunt Antipope" will air December 20 at 9:15 am.

This commercial came out for "Superhero Feud".
Also, when looking at my tv guide, both this "Awesome Aunt Antipope" will air on December 19, not December 20 (but the 9:00 and 9:15 timeslots are the same).
I will be saddened, but not surprised if Season 2 is the last one.
Considering the poor scheduling, the behind the scenes stuff with Warner Media and AT & T, and the general poor treatment of DC kids cartoons in the 2010s (except for Teen Titans Go and the original DC Superhero Girls), I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case.
On a different note, I found this interesting article talking about the idea of a teenage Wonder Woman. The points brought up are spot on.

Knew most of this stuff from watching Linkara but this first time I heard about the Wonder Woman embargo. I only knew about Bat-embargo that kept his villains from last season of Justice League and Robin for a while from The Batman. I guess this does explain why Wonder Girl had this weird cameo in Titans and why Wondy never showed up in The Batman.
I hope they'll bring over more villains in season 2, like Volcana.
Fingers crossed for Killer Frost and Doctor Poison.
The Wonder Woman embargo also stopped Young Justice from using Wonder Woman's supporting cast during season 1 (except a sneaky Devastation cameo) and didn't allow them to use Diana beyond her speaking role. They actually planned on Donna being part of the main group during the pilot as a nod to the OG Teen Titans before Superboy joined them. Season 2 is when the ban was lifted and they could use Cassie Sandsmark as Wonder Girl, Donna as Troia, and more WW in general.
Anyway, I honestly wouldn't be that upset if the show ended at season 2. It got a good number of episodes and shorts. Plus, that's better than most 2010s DC cartoons have gotten.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Actually, Aquaman also had an embargo during Justice League Unlimited. That's why they had to redesign Black Manta and call him 'Devil Ray'.

Not to mention that Diana in Devil Ray episode was obviously filling in for Aquaman.
Its funny how the two DC characters who have an embargo that prevent the use of characters appearing on TV happen to be the ones with the objectively good DCEU movies. Might as well add Captain Marvel to the mix; I think there was a Shazam embargo placed on the character

Jordan Rosato, who will be a director for season 2, put out a picture from an episode she directed. I don't know if she had it on instagram and then deleted it, but someone screenshot it. It's a scene of Zee affectionately pressing her cheek with one of her bunnies, giving him a big hug.
Edit: On toonzone, Yojimbo mentioned that it's most likely from Instagram Story, which are temporary.

I'm actually hoping they don't bring Killer Frost in. Frosty's been a hero in the comics for a while and I just know this show would ignore that in favor of making her a one-dimensional villain.
Aren’t their multiple Killer Frosts?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."That only applies to Caitlin Snow. There are two other bad guy killer frosts still out there. And considering how this show works with secret identies, it'll almost definitely be Crystal Frost.
Caitlin has also rarely been in anything that isn't Arrowverse.
....How can you be a superhero when you have a name like Killer Frost?
Also, yeah, this show takes even the likes of Catwoman and Harley and takes them back to being bad guys.
Honestly, I don't' mind because it feels as if every single female super villain in DC and Marvel that became remotely popular was turned into a hero/anti-hero/anti-villain.

That's honestly an issue that people have been having for a while. They can't just let girls be bad in comics, and there's always some weird asterisk on it.
This show not going for that approach isn't surprising, and having the characters run the gauntlet from sympathetic to just bad isn't that weird either.
Also, this show doesn't take much from the arrowverse. It's mostly silver age stuff with the occasional Nolan/Burton/TAS thing thrown in.
Hell this shows portrayal of Cheetah is as a full-on snooty bitch compared to the great pains taken to make the character sympathetic in the comics.
Its a good thing especially, let women in on acting deliciously hammy and evil like the men.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."When on Twitter, I typed in "Ivy DC Superhero Girls", and found a lot of tweets praising how Ivy from the 2015 DC Superhero Girls is portrayed as a hero. There's even a Poison Ivy League. That's quite unexpected.
I never got why thats so popular, she always struck me as more boring as a hero.
She's one of the most bombastic and menacing of Batman's rogues so going straight would be kind of a downgrade.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."People really like to go green.
Wake me up at your own risk.
Maybe it aired out of order.
