Made some changes to the Invincibility Potion, namely shaving off ten seconds and specifically stating the user still needs to breath.

I've made a few changes in my sign-up, namely:

  • I specified how Pamela's magic circles function exactly. Also forgot to mention that she moves very quickly
  • I added that Eifer can fire basic energy balls and produce plant spikes for her to fire so she wouldn't be too helpless if there's no ammo around for her to use. I also specified that she needs objects in order for her power to work, so she can't do things like manipulate the ground itself, things like grass are fair game though. Also, I forgot to mention that she's weak to cold.
  • The twins can also teleport and like Iris they can't do it very frequently and can't attack during it. I forgot to add this the first time.

[up]I'm going to need you to define Palmela's new superspeed. How fast, exactly, are we talking? Will people still be able to conceivably hit her? Or is this Flash levels of speed?

Got a few more questions since I am typing this up even though I am still unsure.

  1. Do I have to have there gears appearance match what it reasonably would from the point in the game I am drawing them from? I would not normally ask this and just use end game gear for there armour, but the sad fact is destiny has a bit of a problem with low level armour looking much better then the high level stuff.
  2. If the entire squad shares the same backstory do I need to retype it 3 times? Because there personalities may be different but they all went through the exact same shit.

[up]1-I am not going to be in any way picky about that. use what look you like.

2-Just add a note pointing the reader to the relevant character that does have the matching backstory.

She moves faster than a normal human can but it's nothing to Flash levels. It's very much possible to see her coming and react to her, you just need to be quick.

In her game she can do it almost instantly, but for the sake of balance I could make it so that she has to literally draw the first circle with her hand, runes and all, and then splitting it in two, the second of which she sets up in close by. Would make it so that she can't abuse them as much since it would take time for her to make the first one even if she makes it as fast as she can and in the meantime she has somebody attacking her.

Yeah I'm savvy enough to know that very fast girl that can instantly teleport around while also having a magical sword that can fire sword beams and stuff is a big no-no tongue

Here I guess, sorry about the minimal backstory, I just kinda cant bring myself to type up the whole plot of destiny right now, which might sound like an easy task but really it is not, there is quite a bit of story there.... Bungie just had the bright idea of putting next to none of it into the game itself and instead in the secondary material. :/

Plus I also personally find it more fun to cover backstory IC, but that may just be me.


  • Name: Echo-8
  • Age: Unknown, amnesia after being revived from the dead kind of prevents a gaurdian from knowing there age.
  • Appearance: Something like this yes, however they are rarely seen without there rather flashy armour
  • Personality: The most outgoing of the trio, Echo-8 has become something of a leader to them. While there disposition remains rather positive compared to the other two they are a massive believer in the teachings of the future war cult, that warfare is the only constant and that even surviving day to day is no different from battle.
  • Powers: First and foremost among Echo-8's abilities as a titan is being able to take a hit and keep going, they are essentially the juggernauts of the team, tanking blows and dishing them out in turn. However when this proves not to be enough Echo-8 has trained as a Sunbreaker, letting them wield the power of the Hammer of Sol, this power lets them draw flaming explosive hammers from there fire and throw them at opponents like a siege weapon, as well as granting regenerative abilities when exposed to flames.
  • Equipment: Heavy Customized Future War Cult Armour, Lots of Thermite(mostly used as grenades), "The Culling" a belt fed machine-gun with a very high rate of fire, "Hard Light" A prototype particle rifle produced by the Omolon weapon foundry and the only non FWC sponsored item in her arsenal, and "The Chance" a hand cannon she has taken to using as a side arm.
  • Backstory: The members of "The Wolfpack" are a group of 3 Exo guardians recovered by the Travlers ghosts just outside the walls of the Comosdrome, this three man fire-team has gone on to accomplish quite a bit in service of the vanguard, including but not limited too the destruction of the black garden, the termination of Atheon in the Vault of Glass, The Slaying of Crota in the hell-mouth, and the Trial of Skolas in the prison of elders, once they set off on a mission they are not known for failure.

  • Name: Lightning-17
  • Age: Unknown, amnesia after being revived from the dead kind of prevents a gaurdian from knowing there age.
  • Appearance: Something along the lines of this. however they are rarely seen without there signiture armour
  • Personality: Unusually for a warlock, Lightning is direct and to the point, seeing little efficiency is dancing around a topic, or using overly flowerfull speech.
  • Powers: Lightning-17 is a Stormcaller, a sub-sect of the warlock order specializing in lightning based attacks, able to project lightning from there hands at moderate ranges they can prove to be rather tricky foes to deal with, especially once they enter there Stormtrance amplifying the amount of lightning they are able to project immensely, as well as granting them a short range teleportation like ability.
  • Equipment: A customized set of manifold seeker armour with improved durability and synchronization to there light, Two "Fate-bringer" hand cannons salvaged from the wolf packs venture into the vault of glass, and "The Thunderlord" an experimental heavy machine-gun that fires large electrified slugs.
  • Backstory: See Echo-8, "The Wolpack" has been together since there revival outside the wall, any mission one has been on, they have all been on.

  • Name: Nyx-12
  • Age: Unknown, amnesia after being revived from the dead kind of prevents a gaurdian from knowing there age.
  • Appearance: No one ever said they were human, kind of a running thing here though not likley to be seen without there armour
  • Personality: Nox is fairly silent preferring to let there actions speak rather then there words, the other members of Fireteam Wolf are not not even quite sure if Nox CAN talk, but there loyalty to the team is never in any doubt.
  • Powers: Nyx is a hunter, the stealth expert of the team, and absolutely gifted at getting into places they are not superposed to be. In addition to there training as a hunter Nyx is a Nightstalker, a specialist at the use of the Shadowshot, a void bow that entangles opponents slowing them down and making it harder for them to move, as well as suppressing abilities and powers of those ensnared by it, this comes at the cost of being the only member of the wolf pack unable to cause any physical damage with there abilities.
  • Equipment: A customized set of hunter issued armour, A Suros Foundry Rocket Launcher, An Omolon Foundry Hand Cannon, and Ice Breaker an experimental fusion powered sniper rifle that never runs out of ammo.
  • Backstory: See Echo-8, "The Wolpack" has been together since there revival outside the wall, any mission one has been on, they have all been on.

Of note is that an ability of all guardians is to revive there fallen comrades so long as there ghost remains in tact, as long as that is true the guardians themself can be reduced to particulate matter and still revived later.

  • Main Character
    • Name: Shovel Knight
    • Age: 20s
    • Appearance: A knight clad in blue armor wielding a shovel
    • Personality: Always honest, helpful and possessing an equal taste for adventure and justice, Shovel Knight is frequently seen doing good deeds for the citizens as he travels the land.
    • Powers: The strength and agility required to be the protagonist of a side-scrolling platformer while wearing a suit of armor and a keen skill with the Shovel Blade as a weapon, a means of deflecting projectiles, a tool for digging through a variety of barriers and, bizarrely enough, a pogo-stick.
      Shovel Knight is also surprisingly handy at farm-work and fishing, and supposedly can hold his breath underwater for an absurdly long time, but this may be due to an undocumented magical trinket or enchantment of his armor.
    • Equipment: Other than his armor and the Shovel Blade, Shovel Knight has acquired several unique tools known as relics on his adventures:
      • Flare Wand. Can be used to launch a fireball or start a campfire.
      • Phase Locket. Allows Shovel Knight to turn intangible for a few seconds, (Likely takes too long to recharge to be very useful in combat)
      • Propeller Dagger: Soar through the sky, blade first! Usable for limited flight.
      • Dust Knuckles: A pair of strength-enhancing gauntlets that allow one to dash a short distance ahead and smash through dirt and foes alike.
      • Mobile Gear: A box with a pair of gears for wheels, can carry a single person over some ground-based hazards or be stood on to reach things on the top shelf.
      • Throwing Anchor: A small (compared to it's ship-borne brethren) hand-held anchor meant for throwing at something you want to hit hard from far away, It's enchanted to return to it's owner after it lands. Not intended as a replacement fishing hook.
      • War Horn: A horn enchanted to be heard from even further away than usual, by sending anyone too close to the blast-zone flying with a sonic shockwave. A real hit at concerts.
    • Backstory: It was a time of adventure, exploration and legend; a time when heroes walked the land performing feats of strength, skill and daring-do. Among them was the renowned pair of Shovel Knight and Shield Knight, but one day their journeys together came to an end after an incident in the fabled Tower of Fate which prompted Shovel Knight to turn his blade from adventure to farming implement in a life of grief and solitude.
      After quite some time the seal on the Tower of Fate reopened revealing a new threat to the land, as well as a chance to rescue a lost loved one.
  • Supporting Cast
    • Name: Shield Knight
    • Age: 20s
    • Appearance: A female knight in red armor wielding a large shield and a buckler
    • Personality: For years, Shield Knight and Shovel Knight were inseparable partners in adventuring; with their expert use of unconventional weapons, they worked as one. She's confident, powerful, and tenacious, but occasionally reckless.
    • Powers: Skilled in the use of shields for both defense and unconventional offense. Her shields can be used to defend from physical and magical attacks and the larger one has been enchanted with limited levitation allowing Shield knight to hang in the air and provide a platform to help her friends reach new heights.
    • Backstory: Much the same as Shovel Knight, the two were adventuring partners for a long time before being separated at the Tower of Fate and have only recently been reunited after a grueling battle with the forces of evil.

    • Name: Black Knight
    • Age: 20s
    • Appearance: A Knight clad in black and red armor wielding a shovel, or in other words, an antagonistic version of Shovel Knight.
    • Personality: Black Knight is the mysterious rival of Shovel Knight, little is known about him except that He's very persistent, confident, and goal-oriented.
    • Powers: A mastery of his own Shovel Blade mirroring that of his rival, Shovel Knight. He also possess the ability to fire bursts of dark magic from his weapon.
    • Backstory: Black Knight was one of many adventurers in the land, and harbors an affection for Shield Knight. It is unclear if she ever knew about Black Knight's feelings, but her partnership with Shovel knight is likely what sparked Black Knight and Shovel Knight's initial conflicts and current rivalry.
