Wasn't there also a plot where Rhya had replaced a Clover captain? Was that just dropped?
×2
The Black Bulls Vice Captain maybe?
I'm actually kinda liking this dude's brand of For the Evulz. It's so over-the-top yet down-to-earth at the same time.
I’ve already seen people guessing that.
Man that final part was really well done.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Great, so another big bad who did what they did for the lulz (oh no wait, Wevil did it to possess a body, that makes it SO much better).
New Opening.
Okay that was definitely the bone prince in that shot.
Are we getting a filler arc? Cause we are way to close to the manga, it feels like One Piece actually.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah, we're going to see the training in the anime or at least that's what i heard.
Dante's basically a bored sociopath who seeks stimulation.
Disgusted, but not surprisedThis time on Black Clover: Luck vs transphobic caricature
Right those hearts & speech patterns are assigned to a very particular character.
I knew this felt familiar.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."You sure he seemed to be straight given that he likes his boss, just flamboyant.
Not sure if this new villain likes their boss that way or likes their boss as an ideal. In other words, maybe this asshole wants to be as beautiful as their boss.
Disgusted, but not surprisedFunny thing is this is the most personality a sub-villain has gotten since....... yeah.
Especially for a Spade villain. Previous guys have been all "Muhahaha, I am magically blessed, the rankings, peasants suck, I am evil, yadayadayada."
This guy is the most distinctive at the moment.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah. My first thought was "Oh, this villain has an actual personality."

that's so true lol, everyone else is just "look at me I'm crazy!!!"
I guess it's not so surprising considering that the main antagonistic forces are literal devils and the current baddies are idiots who made deals with said devils.

Disgusted, but not surprisedBlack Clover’s always had a bit of an issue with the character writing for its villains..
Just look at the elves who for the majority in their screen time acted completely identical to each other with little to no variation despite fighting over 20 of them.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Did the manga mention that Fuegolion became Captain of the Crimson Lions again? Because it was mentioned in the new filler episode.
It's kinda of a shame, i liked Mereoleona as Captain.
Yami and Jack's reaction to all the Captains getting a pay cut.
Answering Lightysnake from a dozen posts ago regarding which captain was actually Raia at the meeting where Gueldre Poisot of the Purple Orcas became captain of the Red Herrings; recall that this happened just after the battle in the cave, which ended when Patry threw a tantrum and the others put him down for a nap. He was in William Vangeance's body, so he should have been absent. Instead, he was just late, and the others were suspicious of him for a bit there. Raia would have had easy access to Vangeance to copy him and a good opportunity to replace him and spy on/weaken Clover all in one.
I'm not sure how Raia has his own body now. Vetto's was cloned after he was killed, and Fana's was also cloned after the real Fana took back control. But neither happened during the Raia fight, so is his body actually somebody else's? Asking because he's my top pick for spy dude, unless Yami actually paid attention during tryouts this year.
