Enter The Arena As Your Avatar -- The Spinoff!

Somebody suddenly puts a glass of water down next to Pietro, putting it down hard enough to probably get his attention, but not hard enough to damage the glass itself.

If it did succeed in getting his attention, he should see Seras◊ being the one who put down the glass.

"You look like you could use something other than alcohol right now.", she says, smiling, but said smile also looks concerned.

Jumping in surprise, Pietro nearly spills his drink before turning to face whoever had forcefully set down the glass of water. Upon realizing that it was Seras, he manages to greet her with a slight smile before motioning for her to sit beside him.

"I think a talk with you might be just what I need, police girl."

He takes a sip from the glass of water.

She sits down and then puts down a second glass of water, her own glass.

"Then Walter contacted me at the right time. He told me you were here over the phone and that you weren't doing too well. I probably wouldn't have known to find you otherwise.", she says. Should Pietro look at a door leading to a behind-the-bars room, he might catch a glimpse of Walter◊, holding some drinking glasses, going through said door and into said room.

"I've also heard rumors that you've been speeding around plenty of parts of the Arena. I don't know what's going on, but it sounds serious.", she says, still looking concerned.

Pietro spares a glance at Walter going through the door.

"Heh... Out of all the bars I could've went to, I ended up picking the one he's working at. Either you've been keeping tabs on me for a long time, Walter, or this is one hell of a coincidence."

Turning back to Seras, he takes another drink of water.

"Well, those rumors are right on the goddamn money," he replies. "Rin's gone missing, Seras. I haven't heard from her in ages, and I'm starting to worry that she might be in serious trouble..."

"Rin? ... ah, yeah, I remember her.", Seras says.

"How long has she been gone? And do you have an idea of what might have potentially happened?", she asks.

"Well, she's been gone since... at least last month," Pietro explains, taking another sip of water. "But I have no goddamn idea what could've happened to her. Maybe she's been kidnapped and held for ransom, maybe she accidentally went through a portal to god knows where, or she might even be..."

He goes silent before he can finish that line of thought.

"Gone for a month, in this place..."

Seras definitely seems to understand the implications.

"If... she's held for ransom, wouldn't you have heard anything about it by now? Or do you think they wouldn't call you, but maybe someone else?", Seras asks, trying to go through the possibilities one by one to see what outcome may make the most sense.

"Right, if she was being held for ransom, I probably would've gotten demands at this point," Pietro replies, leaning against the bar. "Which means she might've been kidnapped for another reason or... one of the other two things happened."

He downs the remainder of his water, and his gaze briefly flickers to the margarita he had poured prior to Seras' arrival.

"Well... we can't possibly know if she left the Arena, and I don't know her well enough to know if there would even be any other reason to kidnap her. But maybe we can find out if she's gone and the Arena didn't revive her.", she says.

"There are a lot of ways to supernaturally contact spirits. If she is gone, we should be able to contact her, or at least a spirit that has come into contact with hers. If this doesn't work, it means she's alive."

Her vampire arm suddenly snatches the margarita, having extended all the way past Pietro behind his back. Seras looks a little more worried, but also tries to look supportive.

"If she isn't gone, we still won't know what happened. But... the worst case scenario won't have to be a factor anymore, and it would make it the most likely that she left the Arena for some reason."

Blinking in surprise when Seras unexpectedly snatches the margarita away, Pietro contemplates her suggestion before speaking up.

"Alright... even if it doesn't bring us closer to finding her, I'll sleep a lot easier knowing that I won't be searching for a body. Assuming we don't end up talking to her spirit..."

He then offers her a smile before giving her a hug.

"Thanks for this, by the way, police girl. I know this is gonna sound weird, but I'm glad Walter's been keeping tabs on me."

While a bit surprised by the hug, she does hug him back. Only for a bit though, she doesn't want Pip to get jealous.

She can already hear him sarcastically clearing his throat in her soul when she lets go of Pietro, but it's clear he's not actually upset, understanding the situation.

"No problem. And is he keeping tabs on you? I never heard anything about that. Sir Walter doesn't normally contact me either, so I assumed you just happened to pick a spot he stays at."

Walter exits the room at that moment, though it's to bring a drink to another customer and he keeps his attention on his work. Seras, meanwhile, keeps her eyes on Pietro.

"Now, the best way to contact a spirit is through the use of an Ouija board. And I don't mean that store-brand toy version, but a genuine board that houses a bit of supernatural power. I'm certain Hellsing has at least one of those lying around, so all I'd need to do is convince Sir Integra to let me borrow it.", she says.

After pulling away from the hug, Pietro raises an eyebrow.

"Honestly, I kinda thought he was, but now I'm starting to lean more towards 'coincidence'."

He briefly looks at Walter, as if expecting him to chime in or at least wink, before shifting his gaze back to Seras.

"So, we're gonna be using an Oujia board to find out whether or not Rin's still alive... you know, that wouldn't be the weirdest thing that's ever happened in this place. It probably doesn't even crack the top fifty."

"Well, coincidence or not, it happened at the right time it seems.", Seras says before momentarily turning to the bar and paying for the two glasses of water, while putting the glass of margarita a bit further away.

"In that case, I'll head back to Hellsing to ask her for it."

She glances around a bit.

"I'd ask if you'd be alright with waiting for me here but I have a feeling this place isn't right for you right now.", she says, glancing at the glass once again. "We should probably have you wait somewhere else, just in case."

"Well, how about this noodle place in the city? Last time I checked, the girl who runs it doesn't sell booze," Pietro suggests. "Not to mention it has some of the best food you'll ever eat in your life. I'll be just fine there."

"That sounds like a good place to meet up. Though we probably should do the actual Ouija stuff outside that restaurant. I don't think the girl who runs it will appreciate costumers getting scared off by spirits.", she says, after which she gets up.

"I should be back in less than an hour, if I manage to convince Sir Integra. Do you think you'll have reached the noodle place by then?"

Megan continued fumbling through her pack, and ended up landing on... a Celestial mutator.

"Reyna... how long do you think it'll be until that 'Escaton Judgement' you mentioned?"

The timestop allows Reyna to pull off a full Big Bang combo, ending with a spinning multi-hit slam! "Well, it's definitely not gonna be happy when it gets up, so I'd wager 'soon'. Get your healing items ready!"

Due to already being a little low on stamina, Varik is unable to keep Timestop up for much longer. When he's forced to drop it, he quickly uses the time to eat the Brain Food Lunch, restoring both physical and mental stamina. Not all the way back to full for either, but still a good amount.

If there's still time left to attack after he's done so, he follows it up with a Whiteshock. Otherwise, he gets back on guard.

Pietro gets up as well, smiling wryly at Seras.

"Look who you're talking to, police girl. By the time you get back, I'll probably have gotten through a fresh bowl of noodles," he assures. "The girl's name is Min Min, by the way."

She smirks.

"Alright, then I'll see you there in about an hour."

She leaves the restaurant, and once outside leaps away into the sky with her vampire powers.

Should Pietro, for whatever reason, look back at the margarita glass, he'll see that it's suddenly empty. Pip might be at fault for that.

Pietro briefly glances at the now empty margarita glass and shakes his head, chuckling lightly.

"I'll let you have this one, Seras..."

Then he exits the bar before dashing straight towards the Hub Centralis.

Man... I really can't find her. Says Nanza, standing over Falkreath's tallest mountain, scratching the top of her head. YO RIINNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!

The echoes resonate.

... Yeah, this is dumb, are you honestly expecting to find her that way? Vivenette yawns and stand beside her.

Well good luck searching for her otherwise, right? Man, I don't know where she is.

Who cares? I'm annoyed enough that you'd blow off your training. You're going to get weak and die if you refuse to train up your body.

Screw that. Being strong doesn't matter if you can't save folks.

I guess that'll make you double weak if she turns up all good and well... Or dead and rotting, heh. Viv shrugs casually, and Nanza grimaces.

Wow, you really are a fat bitch, Viv.

And your wits are unmatched. Getting bored, apparently, Viv leap away and use her disk to slice off the upper part of the mountain peak, before using it as an improvised big-time sleigh to depart, sliding down the mountain. Nanza decides to give chase to Vivenette, cutting up her sleigh.

Walter glances over as the two leave, looking contemplative.

Hub Centralis

Once a little over an hour has passed since their meeting, a red streak of energy falls out of the sky, landing in front of Min-Min's noodle shop. Once it's landed, it reveals itself to be Seras, holding a very old-looking Ouija board◊ under her normal arm.

"I think this is the right place...", she mutters to herself.

Waterblight finally catches up with him after slashing for like two turns straight, so Sporacles downs the rations Megan tossed him.

"Mhmh."

Then he stabs some more. Of course.

Hub Centralis

Pietro exits the noodle shop and dashes over to Seras, greeting her with a grin.

"Just in time, police girl! I was actually thinking about ordering seconds before you got here."

His gaze shifts to the Oujia board.

"Alright... let's see if Rin's still alive or if we're about to chat with her ghost."

"Ah, Pietro!", she says, smiling as he comes over to her.

"Yeah, sorry. I had a bit of trouble convincing Sir Integra.", she says, sheepishly smiling. "Apparently this board is a family heirloom used by one of her ancestors, Abraham Van Helsing, so we have to be careful with it."

She then looks at the buildings around them.

"We'll need an empty room to perform this ritual. Doing this outside is not a good idea. Do you know if any of these places have an empty room?"
