A group of 10 demons turn to Thor and rush him. Once they near their opposition they're shredded by the lightning blast and their charred corpses fall to the ground.

A group of 5 rush Tess mindlessly, their demonic bodies easily cleaved apart by the chakram.

Omega's fire blast catches a group of 8, and while they prove resistant to the flame are still burned. The demons turn their attention to the one who casted the flame, rushing towards him with fury. He'd need something a little stronger, and less fiery in nature.

A group of 14 are caught in a hail of bullets from Homura and easily felled.

The remaining 3 demons that hadn't been either killed or injured took up a defensive position around the portal.

Way in the back of the horde...

"WHITE ALBUM!"

Ah shit.

ghiaccio

Ghiaccio comes skating in, rapidly closing in on the front of the pack. "Too easy, huh?! I'LL GIVE YOU A FUCKING CHALLENGE TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT!"

He flies at Tee with a sweeping aerial kick, who hastily uses his chakram to block it. Tee makes a cutting slash, but his blade stops against White Album's nigh-impenetrable armor.

"Nice fucking try!" Ghiaccio grabs Tee's arm and freezes it, making him gasp briefly, before throwing him aside and rushing Megan with a similar jumping kick.

Thor look at Ghiacco and briefly laugh, wasting his turn as he casually toss Mjolnir at the gathered demons. It's smaller than it's more-well known movie counterpart, but immensely powerful nonetheless !

Skyborn Altar- The Nightbringer

A laugh sounded through the battlefield, this laugh was accompanied by the land turning a shade darker. Five shadows began forming in front of the combatants. These shadows were pure black, with only the faintest hint of red and orange in their cores. These shadows bore the sword of the Nightbringer.

Each one ran at a different opponent, preparing to dodge whatever attacks were thrown at them.

Skyborn Altar

Megan dashed forward under Ghiaccio's kicks — she had just enough time from his yelling to get her bearings and adjust for that, although she wasn't in a good position to retaliate.

"Fuck off!", she said, turning to face her new foe... or foes, rather.

"... this is some joke of the universe, isn't it?" she said. She set her gun back to safe, holstered it, and cracked her knuckles. "Guess what? I've got a joke of my own."

She jumped backwards for spacing, and removed her bow from her back, and knocked an arrow. This was no ordinary bow. This bow was destined to destroy a cursed wish-cycle in a far distant city within a slumbering, dreaming city. This was Wish-Ender.

Omega switched to a simple spell of wind — namely, razor breeze — and cast it at the same group of demons. Hopefully, it would either destroy them, or cripple enough that they could be finished off easily.

...

And then Ghiaccio happened.

"FOR FUCK'S SAKE!"

Omega seems to have gone from calm to fucking agitated in the span for "fuck you". He slammed his spellbook closed, and gathered a bolt of darkness on the end of his staff. Amplified by both the armor and the staff, the bolt grew to a respectable orb at the end of the staff, but he couldn't yet draw a clear bead on the enemy stand user. He just repositioned and held the charge for now.

   "I shall keep my eyes open for such a figure then. And... if you see a woman clad in blue with teal eyes, take care. She's become something of a problem for me, and I suspect she is a great deal more dangerous than she at first appears."

Strange Klug opens another rift, preparing to leave.

Ghiaccio Goes to war

Homura would run out of ammunition, and would begin to stare at the incoming ice skating maniac, before sighing.

"Of Course it Couldn't be that easy. This man... I'd better be careful."

Homura's shield would begin to whir, but not before she noticed the shadow in front of her. She'd quickly attempt to avoid the incoming attack, trying to make sure her left hand doesn't get hit, in particular, Keeping on the defensive for this turn.

"Shit! Definitely harder than I expected!"

Thor's hammer blazes through the remaining 3 demons like a bowling ball through pins. More demons pour out from the pillar, hopefully being able to amass into a larger group now that the heroes had other distractions. Thunder booms again, preceding another attempted lightning strike on each of the fighters.

Tee thaws himself out with his magic. He drops a Mino down in front of himself and jumps on top of it to avoid his shadow.

"Lock Down!"

Tee fires a ray-like beam of energy with lots of particle effects from the palm of his hand, which will immobilize the shadow attacking him if it hits. Then the lightning strikes him, destroying his Mino and dropping him back to the ground.

"Hey!" Ghiaccio yells at Megan's shadow, not knowing whether or not it can understand him. "Go find another target, she's mine!" He rushes Megan again and attempts to slice her up with, ironically, the same rapid-fire barrage of kicks Gold Experience had once used to end his life.

Aside from his physical weakness which has yet to be revealed, here's Ghiaccio's tunnel-vision once he chooses a target coming into play. The question is, should that be exploited by blindsiding him, or by letting Megan 1v1 him while everyone else deals with the other big threats?

Thor is sliced by the blade, but less so than the bringer of chaos probably excepted, owing to his supernatural durability and his armor. Thor swing his fist at the shadows, and dodge the lightning, casting one of his own towards the demon.

Mjolnir fly out into the horizon...

AYE FRIENDS ! THE ANGRY MAN IS ATTACKING A WOMAN !

The shadow fighting Thor fell to the powerful strike. But soon after that one was defeated another one formed from the ground and went for Thor’s throat.

The shadow that was hit by Tee’s blast didn’t get frozen like Tee intended, instead it vanished, nowhere to be seen around Tee.

All of the other shadows that were defeated in this first clash would be easily replaced. And the few that got close to their opponents unleashed a barrage.

The Shadow that was after Megan ignored everything else around it, paying no attention to Ghiacco. Unleashing a flurry of strikes on the woman.

Homura would be on the defensive, so she'd make a pretty good effort at avoiding the remaining shadow. Suddenly, the whirring of her shield would reach a critical point, and she'd suddenly flicker away. The shadow chasing down homura would be greeted by A storm of pellets going away from a smoking shotgun, which homura is still firing. She'd yell at the top of her lungs as she unloads, incoherently.

Skyborn Altar: Invasion

Megan just barely avoided Ghiaccio's flurry with a number of cuts upon her right arm, only to be struck by her own shadow. She quickly drew and loosed two arrows into the shadow, and retreated even further, attempting to see how she could best draw Ghiaccio's aggro as she nocked another arrow. She would have taunted, if it hadn't been for the split-second choice she had to make between dodging and getting zapped. She dodged, and could feel the ground lightning licking at her feet, but, mercifully, her boots possessed the technology of rubber soles.

Omega made a split-second decision and released the orb of dark energy at Ghiaccio. He had hoped to get better aim, but the Shadows were making it very difficult to get a clear picture of where he should be aiming. After aiming at the wielder of [White Album], he shifted gears and went on the defensive... again. The lightning bolts were not going to make this easy.

"This is some bullshit..." he vocalized to no one in particular. Tiamat was probably laughing at him... or worriedly sipping tea. He honestly wasn't sure. He felt... angry. Angrier than he had felt even during the fight with Ansar and Lumasi. Ghiaccio wasn't making him any calmer either. He wanted to cut loose — to unbolt his storm. But how?

   "Very well. I shall find you again if I have something to report."   

Iraaxos felt quite calm and resolved, now. This had gone much more agreeably than he had imagined.

The thunder booms again, lightning striking on the opposition but a moment later. More demons continued to pour in, but they didnt do anything in particular. They let loose war cries as they watched the fighters struggle.

Seemingly having a moment of respite from being attacked, Tee summons his Tetris board and begins stacking blocks behind himself, keeping an eye on the fight to make sure the shadow doesn't jump him. He jumps back to avoid the lightning, having become capable of predicting it.

Ghiaccio gets hit head-on by the dark orb. "What the fuck is your problem?!" he yells at Omega. "Gently Weeps!"

The air around him freezes, acting as a shield against further projectiles... and also against touching him in general.

Strange Klug departs.

All shadows on the field seemed to get a power amp from somewhere... Their swords grew larger and their movements became faster in an effort to defeat all of their opponents. If a shadow fell, the another one would form to take its place, this one would be stronger than the last.

Skyborn Altar: Invasion

Omega kept his shield up, letting the lightning flow off of it again. His shield felt intensely strong, as long as he kept it active. Granted, that also cut off his attack potential, but that was a sacrifice he was willing to make. The black blades of the shadowy assailants did a number on it, though... he would need to come up with something soon.

He dropped his shadow shield and switched his staff to sword form, causing the icy magic to coalesce into a semi-real blade of elemental ice, and made a low, rising stab at his shadow's chin.

"I could use a hand!" Omega said, calling out to one of the less-occupied. "Preferably not a severed one!"

Megan went to dodge the lightning... but ended up dodging right into it. Her arrow aim went wide, but still allowed her to fire at her next shadow. She felt like her internal organs had just been deep-fried... And she couldn't stop to down a healing potion yet, either. Effectively, she was at Ghiaccio's mercy. She was still on her feet, but she was clearly feeling that bolt throughout her body.

"Hey... fuck you... stormclouds," she said, still dazed.

Iraaxos decided to step inside the college itself. Not for any specific thing that he was seeking — he just welcomed a quiet, warm place to be alone with his thoughts for a bit. He had a great deal to think on, and he should have liked a very long time to think.

Shadow watches the arrow fly past, and takes on a greatly unamused expression. With a click of his fingers, he transfigures his Modern-styled Wastelander Attire◊ into his Medieval / Fantasy-styled Wanderer Attire,◊ which may be more familiar for Kirue, then steps out further, holding up his hands to show he means no harm.

   "Well, that's a fine how-do-you-do...y'know, do you always start conversations by launching arrows at people, or am I just special? Anyway, hey. Long time no see..."

Thor intercept the blade coming for his throat, and then attempts to grab and crush the Shadow's head. His strength being as enormous as his big daddy hands, fittingly for a god of strength.

Regardless of the result, he attempts to (well, only if it doesn't die) toss away the shadow as Mjolnir come back from behind, attempting to plow through the masses of demons to reach him. If it succeed, then he grab it mid-flight, leap, and attempts to smack the holy hell out of Ghiacco with a downward blow so intense, the ground shake a little !

Homura's Turn.

Lightning would Strike homura dead on, but Homura, although burnt to an extreme, would still stand, although she'd seem a bit shaky. She'd Whir up her shield again, Before rushing towards ghiaccio, firing off her shotgun to get some attention. She'd leave her shadow behind to deal with this icy menace.

She'd yell over to Megan, saying "Mind if I take this dance for you?"

The demons pouring out from the portal dive out of the way of Mjolnir, allowing the hammer to easily return to its wielder. The demons numbered 80, their cries of war only growing louder.

The cloud above bellowed with thunder, although the lightning did not come. Strange.

Tee focuses on building his Tetris stack, since the shadow attacking him has yet to reappear or be replaced.

Gently Weeps does its job, reflecting Homura's shotgun fire and 'blocking' Thor's strike, reducing its impact from what surely would have been devastating to only moderately painful. Still, Ghiaccio is stopped from attacking Megan.

"Assholes! Oi, Boyero! I need a smokescreen!"

ALAS THE WOMAN HAS BEEN SAVED ! NOW TO SLAUGHTER !

Thor surrounds his hammer in lightning and departs, probably not finding a gang up amusing. He, clad in lightning, rise in the air and attempts to smash his hammer into the middle of the fray !

The shotgun pellets deflected by White album's Gently weeps ability would fly right back at homura in full force, Striking her dead on. However, she'd seem fine, despite just taking a full blast of shot with no armor. She'd be bleeding all over, and that blood would likely be immediately freezing. However, Homura would still stand, and would suddenly blip away as her shield's whirring picks up.

Homura would appear a bit to the side of where she previously was, holding up... A .50 Anti Material rifle. Seems she took the time during her time stop to load the thing and make sure everything was in proper order. She'd take aim at Ghiaccio, and prepare to fire, her shield whirring once again. "If it weren't for the cold, I'd say the smoke you'd get would be the fine mist of whatever I hit next"

Tee's Shadow

The Shadow's presence could be felt once again, although the shadow has not reappeared. Tee could feel in his gut something evil was nearby. A crawling feeling like the feeling you get when you know something bad is about to happen

Thor's Shadow

The Shadow's head was indeed crushed, although the damn thing was still moving. It seemed that it did not require eyes- or a head for that matter, to see. When it was tossed away like an old rag into the garbage. It just got right back up. It seemed in order to defeat a shadow, he would have to destroy the entire thing.

Homura's Shadow

The Shadow melt into the ground, it would not be ignored so easily. It suddenly popped up right in front of the girl. Unfortunately, it tanked her shotgun blasts, causing a hole right through its torso to suddenly appear, before it would die however, it took a swing at Homura, not caring about aiming the strike.

Megan's Shadow

Megan's second shadow took her arrow straight in it's chest, but it was still pressing forward, getting close enough to the dazed girl to try and go for a killing strike, aiming the tip of its sword right for one of Megan's eyes.

Omega's Shadow

The shadow of Nightbringer did not stop its assault, like a zombie, its cold and calculated movements kept on guiding its blade, sweeping attacks to try and break Omega's defenses, and if one of these attacks landed, then it would go for a swift jab.
