Jam begins to follow them on the robot, being quite obviously happy with her machine !

   "What is it, exactly?"   

"It's odd. It's been picking up strange signals that I can't place anywhere in the Arena. At first I thought nothing of it, but the signals are getting more frequent by the day. I've been trying to decipher them, but I'm having no luck so far. It could be important, so I'm gonna keep trying a little while longer."

Continuing his work, he keeps going until he's out of the Dark Realm.

Somewhere outside the dimensional boundaries of the Arena

The mysterious fleet that had arrived near the Arena is still holding firm, waiting evermore for Galeem's and Dharkon's defeat before they'll enter this dimension.

Soon, their queen thinks to herself as the ships communicate to one another through signals. Soon they'll descend upon this world and give it what's coming to it...

Shepards Base

A Kyubey would be exploring the base of the shepards, looking for any individuals of note, while staying in the shadows as to not raise any alarms. These mideval warriors may be superstitious, but there's likely a good few who would appreciate a wish.

In the distance, however, a Black haired youth, holding an unconcious pink haired youth, would be observing the castle, knowing that if the incubators are here, they'd definitely show interest in such an area.

Come on, use it on me !

Are you sure ? It's quite a spell, I'm warning you.

Peri grins and points at her head, causing Morgan to sigh. She forms a small red orb and "fire" it at Peri's chest. Peri freezes, look around, and eye Morgan in confusion.

Bork.

Erm... oh... my memory-alteration spell caused Peri to behave like a chicken. Hm...

The two youths are noticed by Noire, from far ahead, and she points at them from afar.

Inside shepards base

Kyubey would still be looking around for potential contract candidates, but would be aware of two magical girls in the area. Better speed up the process, because one of the two might ruin everything.

Outside shepard base

Homura would begin walking towards the shepard base, in her attire from the original run of madoka magica instead of the wraith arc gear, carrying an unconcious madoka. She'd start moving quicker, seeking to get attention from whoever owns this fort. Madoka might not be in danger, but it would be best to have her panic minimized, or at least to have her wake up in a bed. Homura would talk a bit. "It'll be fine, Madoka, don't worry."

He might spy on Samsara, alone in a corridor, lost in thoughts.

The mines are deactivated, and Laurent, Emmeryn and Sakura are brought to face the girls.

We will provide you with shelter, but please, identify yourselves first.

Inside the Shepard's base

Kyubey would enter Samsara's room, Jumping onto a desk or something to get some visibility. The Kyubey would begin to communicate with samsara telepathicly. Might you need some assistance with anything?

Outside the shepard's base

Homura would look towards the base's defenders, and would respond to their requests.

"I am Homura Akemi, and this is Madoka Kaname. Madoka needs a place to rest and recover. I'd appreciate it if you let us stay here for a while."

Samsara turns around and eye the cat oddly, unused to telepathy. She doesn't do anything menacing, but she does, however, move to acquire a book.

Sakura raises her staff, and a green light proceed to heal Madoka !

Inside the Shepards' Base

The Kyubey would move up and nudge samsara, rubbing up against her leg like a cat, to attempt to get attention and, as research has shown, possibly get them to lower their guard. They'd communicate once more. Down here.

Outside the shepards base

Wounds on madoka's body would visibly heal, but madoka would still be unconcious. It seems that had nothing to do with it, rather, madoka's just exhausted. Homura would look towards the healing, confused. "Strange... You're not a magi, I don't see you having a soul gem." She'd then look back do madoka, then back to the group. "She needs a place to rest. As I said."

She look down when she feels something rubbing against the fabrics of her pants and raise a confused eyebrow.

What are you ? asks Samsara, carefully resisting her urge to pick up the thing.

Laurent nod, and lead them to the fort. It's very big, but he seamlessly guide them to a guest's room !

You may rest here. he says, pointing to an... efficient room. Not much in decoration but it has two beds, a table, some lockers and all. Enough to host someone.

Samsara's Room

The small creature would look up at Samsara, looking like it's smiling. You can call me Kyubey. I'm a wish granter. Make a contract with me, and I'll grant you any wish, and a bit extra. Of course, there's a catch to it.

Homura would lay Madoka down on a bed, making sure that madoka is as comfortable as possible. She'd then sit down, thinking of a few things. She seems a bit uncomfortable, as if something going on nearby is "Wrong" to her.

Is there something wrong ? ask Laurent, right as he's about to step out of the room.

Peri, with the memories of a chicken, run in the background, chased by Morgan.

You are a genie, I presume ? she says, seemingly not trusting it too much.

Samsara's Room

The Kyubey would look at samsara still, putting forwards the conditions of the deal. I'm not a genie, sadly. I give only one wish. As for the catch, You'll need to take up the duties of a magical girl, amongst other things, which will grant you magic power as a bonus.You'll need to keep a soul gem on you at all times too. Usually, one's soul gem might go dark after using too much power, but here, it might be different. If it isn't just look for witches or other things with the ability to purify to purify your soul gem.

Guest Room

Homura would speak up, saying something rather odd. "I have a lot of questions to ask, but there is an important one. Have you seen a strange creature running around? It looks somewhat like a cat or a ferret, vaguely. It has red eyes, pink spots, and golden rings around things coming from it's ears."

Morgan peeks her head through the room, wide eyes squinted in fascination.

Guest room

Homura would Look behind a shieldlike disk on her arm, then she'd look to to anyone else still there. She'd be somewhat worried. "If you see one, I suggest killing it. Although you might not even trust me." She'd look around a bit, then she'd say something which would be quite a surprise to people expecting a newcomer. "We're in the arena, Right?"

Meanwhile, Madoka would begin to stir.

Samsara's room

The Kyubey would respond to the question, Rolling around. Magical girls are people who've made contracts with me. They get a lot of magical powers, increased durability, and more physical strength and speed as a bonus, alongside their wish. No two magical girls have the exact same ability, at least, that's an observation that has been made. As for witches, Witches are entities which warp reality around them, trapping people in their labrynth, feeding off their dispair. Witches have grief seeds on them, which magical girls usually use to purify their soul gems. Although I'm not even sure if it's necessary in the arena to do so. Witches are either invisible to most people, or are hidden within their labrynths. Most people can't fight them, but a magical girl or two can take them on easily. Well, Most of them. As for wishes, I can grant just about any wish.

The Guardian’s hands glowed purple, and when she clapped them together the purple glow extended all over her body. She extended her hands forward, sending out Nova Bomb. A sphere of Void energy that will explode on contact. It flew towards the boss slowly

“That’ll hurt it I bet!”

No... thanks. I feel like I already have enough on my plate, and... well, I've got everything I could wish for. she says, after thinking it over.

Hm, so you know about this place... not surprising, though. As far as we know, you probably dwelled there for a while before encountering us.

Guest room

Homura would adjust some mechanism on her shield, while talking. "I've just come back. I've been here before. Now, Whatever happens, don't panic" Madoka would begin to wake up as Homura suddenly disappears. Right as the disappearance happens, a loud noise would be heard from samsara's room. Quite loud. A noise which nobody here would've really heard before coming to the arena, save for Madoka, or doppio if he was here. Gunfire.

Samsara's Room

Kyubey would continue rolling, stating Perhaps you'd Like to reconside- , and would stop suddenly as multiple holes appear through their body. With a sound from the doorway of some small metal objects hitting the floor. Homura would be in samsara's doorway, holding a high caliber pistol, which is currently smoking somewhat.

Warning someone, unfortunately, is not enough when guns are involved. Before long, pretty much everybody is here, blades drawn... or close to being drawn. Donnel even step towards Homura somewhat menacingly when he sees her gun pointed at Samsara's room, though Samsara pop out of it beforehand.

Outside samsara's room

Homura would put the gun away behind her shield, walking in to grab the corpse of the Kyubey. The Incubator. "These things aren't looking out for your well being if they talk about a contract, or about magical girls and such. These things never tell the whole story. But That Likely doesn't make sense to any of you, does it." Of note about homura now, is that there's a gem on one of her hands. "I can explain, given time, But I won't let these things near madoka ever again, and I won't tolerate them trying to do their dirty work."

Meanwhile, Madoka would be running upstairs as of hearing the gunfire. She'd be holding what looks like a bow. "Homura, What are you doing? What have you done?"

You could've warned us. says Ryoma. We had a recent... accident with those weapons. I'm sure that we could've overpowered the animal without resorting to it.

It did try to sign a contract but I refused. declares Samsara. Madoka is facing pretty much a human wall.

Aww, she's woken up already. declares Camilla.

Homura would look towards the medieval/feudal People around her, and she'd sigh, before talking. She's got quite a bit of blood on her face. "In my world, Firarms are commonly used against wildlife and pests. And this isn't just any pest" She'd throw the lifeless body of the kyubey over the group, which is quite impressive for someone who looks to be around 14 years old. She'd then look right at samsara. "What did this thing tell you about when it was talking about it's contract?"

Madoka would be trying to squeeze through the crowd to get closer to homura.

They let her for the most part, since Peri's a chicken and Gangrel's in the far back.

Think we could eat that ? asks Donnel.

O... oh... I wouldn't want to...

Your tastes are as pelicular as the current events, sir Donnel !

Samsara shrugs.

Something about witches and magical girls.

Homura would chulkle a bit, before resuming her talking. "These incubators, They call themselves kyubeys to make themselves endearing, Probably haven't explained everything. About magical girls, witches, or the relation between the two. I'm guessing that's the case here. They didn't explain that magical girls can turn into witches, or how the soul gem works. Did they."

Madoka would rush up to near the front, looking at homura, then she'd look back to the group, and she'd pull on the clothes of the nearest person to get their attention. "Excuse me, While homura goes on about this, uhm... Mind telling me where I am?"
