Dokan simply tilts his head. ”N-no, I’m sorry. If you want, I can go with you to find them...” He doesn’t seem to recognize what kind of pokémon Vent is.

'Nah, it's fine, I'm sure they'll come back to the campsite soon enough.'

'But man, I'm seeing all sorts of rare pokemon here, it's been a real trip!'

'So what's your name?'

He nods. ”I’m Dokan. And you might be?”

'I'm Vent!'

…

'Do you, uh, have any food? I'm kinda…'

He gestures to the desert all around them.

”...I might, yeah.” He looks around in his bag. Vent reminds Dokan of someone, but he can’t quite put his paw on it yet. There was this guy with the weird Pokémon, but this mon’s kinda nice... He eventually pulls out some Oran Berries, a bag of cheese-flavored tortilla chips, and some berry-flavored sour gummies. ”Eat whatever you want.” He tears open the bag of Eevee-shaped sour gummies.

'Thanks!'

He devours the Oran berries, and sniffs the tortilla chips before cautiously chewing one. It doesn't look like it particularly pleases him, but he accepts it as food. Vent eyes the gummies warily though.

'What are those?'

”They’re jelly candies. They taste sour.” He says this as he sticks a couple in hispith and chews. He looks out at the endless desert for a moment.

He tries one. It doesn't sit very well with him, but he eats them all anyways.

'So what're you doing around here?'

'… And doing bipedal?'

Harenzo teleports nearby.

"Hey !"

'?'

'Oh hey!'

Vent bounds over to Harenzo.

'Where were you?'

"Fighting two dragon gods or something." says Harenzo, shrugging. "I think I died nearly twice but it was worth it."

'… Uh… thanks for letting me sleep some extra, I guess?'

'How much stronger did you guys get? Was it a lot of experience?'

"Yeah, a huge amount of experience." he says. "But luckily, you can catch up by training. Also we got those weird orbs and I decided to give mine to you." he says.

Harenzo then shows his tattoo-bearing arm, revealing that the tattoo grew a lot.

"Check this out too."

'Aw, thanks!'

He peers at the tattoo.

'Yeah? What's that?'

"It's the chosen one thing. It embued our attacks with great power." he says. "And Wendy digs it too so it's worth it."

He folds his arms.

"Though it makes me look like a delinquent."

'Huh, our world didn't have a chosen one.'

He then finally realizes the tension between Harenzo and Wendy.

'Oooh… OOOOOH…'

"Yeah, the tattoo looks nice." he says, oblivious. "But you're pretty enthusiastic about it, weird."

Vent just looks at Harenzo and quirks an eyebrow.

'Yeah… I've never seen one of those before.'

He then sits back before remembering.

'Oh, right! Hey Harenzo… you think there might be a chance some of the pokemon I knew from my home might be here?'

"Yeah, there's a lot of Pokémons around here so it wouldn't surprise me !" he says, with a smile.

He looks at him before grinning.

'You… you think we could try to look for them? Just for a bit?'

Vent's pretty excited about possibly seeing some of his friends or his mentor again.

"Hm... sure but I wouldn't want to put them into danger, we saw Garchomp and he was strong enough to be a threat to those two godlike dragons."

He snorts.

'Maybe most of my friends wouldn't do so well… but most of them were higher level than me, and my mentor was really really strong! He was also old so he wasn't as powerful as later breeds of his kind, but he's still pretty tough.'

'Wait, do you guys have Psicris where you come from?'

He nods. "Saw one in the history books."

'Whoa, really?'

'Well, my mentor was one of them! He was a really old one so he isn't even really the same breed, he's faster but a bit less tough.'

'H-he still knows Pain Cannon though!'

"Hey, its okay, anything's fine." he says. "If they can fight that Garchomp, they're welcome aboard."
