The description for Bodyguard Crush is a bit of a mess. Like many gender dynamics tropes, it tries to give an armchair assessment for the existence of the trope in relation to gender politics. The way it's written, however, is hard to follow and doesn't clear up whether or not this is an "Association" trope or a trope with a defined situation.
If it's an "Association" trope (Bodyguard and charge in a relationship), then the long-winded definition isn't necessary and is better suited to the Analysis page. If it's a defined situation, then the definition can be essentially shortened to "A relationship based upon survival dependency leads into romantic dependency".)
I've encountered more than a few examples on various pages that were basically "Mr. Bodyguard and his charge are in love". Which is fine if we're going the Association route, but I think the definition needs cleaning either way.
