Oh this'll be a fun time.

Okay, so I keep forgetting that RE 8 exists.

Is it exclusive to PS 5? If so, then I won’t even be able to buy it for a long time.

No it isn't. You can get it on the PS 4, and Xbox One if you want.

Ryan is playing it on the PS 5 likely to flex.

I haven’t seen the part yet, I just didn’t know if it was exclusive to the ninth gen consoles.

To be honest, I’m not super interested in the next gen yet so at least I can get RE 8 on either my PS 4 or Xbox One X.

It's also on PC and the stupid performance-effecting crap is gone.

I don’t think either my desktop or laptop are able to run RE 8.

Anyways, you guys think the BSC Crew will re-do the Classic Sonic games this fall? If yes, I can’t wait to hear Ted constantly complaining like he did with Mania Plus.

There was a time that I didn't like Ted, but then he got better. But now he feels like he's gotten kinda obnoxious with his opinions lately.

I heard about how he was during the Sonic Mania Plus LP.

Wasn't Ted a downer because they had played Mania three times in less than a year? I don't think he'd be that hard on classic Sonic.

Trust me, he’s constantly complaining about crap in that one. Ranging from that Mighty and Ray are obscure characters that he thinks no one would be excited for (this is a bit of hypocrisy, since he was excited when Kirby Star Allies brought back old obscure characters), to complaining at the difficulty of the special stages, to insisting that it’s pronounced “Hydrossity” and not “Hydro City”, the latter is what’s actually correct by Word of God. And he keeps using Death of the Author where it doesn’t apply and insists he’s right when everyone else is proving him wrong.

Though his worst moment was the “Sonic 3 is not one game” argument in the RE 2 Remake LP.

He is not as into the Classics as the others are, so he’s likely to be more negative towards them. He’s also become a lot more negative about Sonic in recent years.

Still, if you compare his early days on the channel, guy's had character development. The days when they used to argue without cooling off in the first couple years could make things awkward.

Feels like the genuine ending that the franchise (Or at least, the Anno headed portion of it) needed.

God, Lewis trying make sense of alien designs in the Blaster Master Zero 3 commentary is really grating. He's the guy who willfully ignores Suspension of Disbelief for the sake of trying to apply logic and reasoning to everything and bitching when something makes no sense. Him trying to logic everything might have been cute when the channel was new, but now it's just damn irritating.

Yeah, I feel that he’s had that problem since the channel’s inception.

It's always been there, but the worse audio quality and his immaturity in the early days was worse IMO. They know when to cut it out now so it doesn't devolve into arguments like the first few years.

The Village playthrough's been great.

So the group is near the end of Blaster Master Zero 3 and Ryan had to outright spoil the final bits of the game because Ted didn't want to wait until the next part for things to be explained. Meanwhile, Lewis is Lewising it up by constantly questioning why Kane is doing X Y Z (before Ryan spoiled it). You can feel Jon's frustration at the two for not paying attention to the game that explained shit.

I just wonder why Lewis doesn’t just take game logic at face value and needs everything explained to him sometimes.

Not seen the playthrough but damn I can understand both Ryan and John getting annoyed.

That's kind of the problem with this style of commentary...

They do have to talk over the game, which if some of them haven't played it, means missing obvious stuff...

They tend to use the moments they're not talking to pay attention...if the discussion isn't taking focus.

Even the audience is getting annoyed by this

Yeah, I kinda think they need to start paying attention to the game more.

Sadly it seems that they might not listen to their audience anymore. Especially after they’ve gotten so much hate in the past.

Like I remember how many times the comments in a certain RE 2 Remake part were trying to correct Ted that Sonic 3 and Knuckles is one game and not two like what Ted thinks, where Ted wouldn’t listen even to Ryan, John, and Lewis. It seems that every time Ted is called out on his wrong arguments he will not listen.

There’s a point where stuff like this becomes more annoying to the audience. I think there are reasons why SGB has maintained more subs than BSC does.

I might just unsub from BSC cause I don't really watch them anymore and this LP reminded me why.

I most likely won’t as I still enjoy BSC but I do feel they need improvement.

Like Lewis needs to stop trying to logic everything in games. Ted needs to understand when he’s wrong in an argument and stop acting like he has to be right.

I do want them to improve, and I do think they should listen to constructive criticism.

Apparently Ryan quietly edited the video description that passive aggressively blames Jon for getting upset over spoilers being mentioned when it was asked for.

Yeah that’s pretty insulting.
