Maybe it isn't even 'Evil' Supergirl, just Anti-Hero Supergirl (or even Powergirl?).

Certified: 48.0% West Asian, 6.5% South Asian, 15.8% North/West European, 15.7% English, 7.4% Balkan, 6.6% ScandinavianThis probably cinches that the crossover (and thus, any potential Batwoman series) will be mostly set in Earth-38, right?
"It takes an idiot to do cool things, that's why it's cool" - Haruhara HarukoWell, apparently, the other pointy eared vigilante exists there, but, hey, adding to the ranks in that universe.
Wake me up at your own risk. They've alluded to Batman's existence, but I can't remember if they've actually referred to him by name or used masculine pronouns when talking about him. Might turn out they were talking about Batwoman all along.
"It takes an idiot to do cool things, that's why it's cool" - Haruhara HarukoThey've only referred to Bruce Wayne directly one time, and it was Oliver Queen referencing Bruce Wayne while trying to clear himself from suspicion of being the Green Arrow.
They've left it just vague enough that Batwoman could be the central Bat of the CW-verse. Berlanti is sly like that. Earth 38 could just be the female-driven Earth.
I'm curious if there was a Batman on that Earth and he just retired, maybe sponsored or assisted Kate in her mission. Or if they're throwing out Bruce entirely and Kate's exclusion from the military will somehow lead to her being inspired to become the Batwoman.

My stories on AO3.There's a whole city of them a day's spaceflight or a moment's Stargating away. I expect 'em to start turning up all the time now.
"It takes an idiot to do cool things, that's why it's cool" - Haruhara HarukoKryptonian of the Week: Jax-Ur! Faora-Ul! Major Zod's mother! Kara's long-lost cousin twice removed!
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Parallax?! I was hoping the Earth 1 shows would be doing Green Lantern but that’s still awesome!
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. It's possible episode's only called "Parallax" because they reference the optical effect in some way, not because the character Parallax is showing up.
"It takes an idiot to do cool things, that's why it's cool" - Haruhara HarukoI mean... its possible.
But that'd be like there being an episode called "Manhunter" that was about a cop with the last name "Manhunter." Or an episode called "The Right Lane" that was actually about a bowling-themed supervillain.
Though if Super-shows from the past have proven anything its far from impossible they would do something like that. Especially after what they did to Mxyptlik and Music Meister.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!That's kinda neat, but all it does is make me wish we had a Superman show.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Hey, they cast someone of an age that makes the timeline work. I am very pleasantly surprised.
This basically IS a Superman show. Kara's closer in personality to Clark that her comics counterpart, has Superman's job, his villains, etc.
I'm digging the premiere so far.
Otis Graves is a neat way to shout-out to the first Superman movie.
I don't know who's more hardcore: Mercy for shooting her own brother, or Otis for actually rolling with it and taking the fall so that she could get away.
I also agree that the Shout-Out to Superman is pretty cool.
One Strip! One Strip!I mean, he did have a bulletproof vest, but then again they were on motorcycles, so the bullet could have hit his face.
I'm liking this new season so far. The last season lost me after a while and I stopped watching, but I liked this premiere. Also the fact that now they have legitimate reasons for why Superman and J'onn don't help Kara (off-world and pacifism).
It's like they glued soapboxes to their feet. I'm oddly enthralled by it.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!I wasn't expecting Agent Liberty's look to be so...metal. But I like it.
There's a serious issue with the fact they won't let comic Supergirl and Batgirl grow up.
Even reversing the latter.

At least Reign had powers beyond the standard stuff all Kryptonians get. Another evil flying brick with nothing else going for them isn't too exciting.
