MK comics Shawn Kittlesen reveals his intended plans for a season 2 of the MKX comics which never saw fruition. Video is 27 minutes long. One of them included a focus on Sub-Zero and Frost's relationship and Goro becoming a new host for Onaga.

Congrats to the person who called that Goro being Onaga's host stuff.
It's been 3000 years…I'm pretty sure that bit with Goro and Onaga is referenced in character intros in Mortal Kombat 11.
Isn’t the same write that wrote the MKX comic, wrote the story in Mortal Kombat 11?
Yeah.
I read that aparently but reveant sindel and nightwolf were to be killed by dark raiden in the interlude between MKX and MK 11, it also make sense of kotal saying about raiden grow darker, is all stuff that should be brough in the komic that never happen.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Did the writer say any plans for revenant Smoke and Stryker?
No really, the writer said the komic invold goro, kenshi, frost, daegon, mention taven, raiden, fujin, kotal khan and other as it would be set on MKX still.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Jax and Sonya make the number four spot on Mr Top Ten's Top Ten Americans in Fighting Games (@12:48).
It's funny to think my introduction to the MK franchise was the Defenders of the Realm cartoon.
Did anyone else first experience the franchise through non-game media?
They include Stryker but not Johnny.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The show was apparently following the continuity of the movies and since Johnny was dead he couldn't be used.
Then again, the movies suggested Kabal and Stryker were dead and yet they still appeared in the show.
I got into Mortal Kombat as a whole because a friend introduced me to Deception. Me and my brother got the PSP port Unchained when we found it in a game store. Then we got Armageddon. I had to read up the story and the characters because of the following:
1. Sub-Zero and Noob being brothers.
2. Who Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, and Kung Lao were (again, Deception/Unchained was my first game so they weren't playable there and I was confused as to who they were and why were they mentioned in the manual despite not being playable). Likewise with Mavado as I heard that he was just a guy who stole Kabal's hook swords.
3. What a Soulnado was as it was mentioned in Scorpion's profile in the manual.
My first MK experience was prooooobably the Mega Drive version of either 1 or 2 as a young, confused kid who hadn't yet come to grips with his autism (as in real.) Feelin' bad for Soyna being chained up in Kahn's arena, gaping at how cool Goro is, barely remembering that Shang Tsung was in MK 1, wanting Raiden's hat and not knowing who was good or bad. I think later on in life I played a lot of MK trilogy and read up the backstory and loved it somehow.
Injustice was the Trojan horse that got me into this.
It's been 3000 years…Man I first got into MK when MK 9 came out.
Was in the store & just bought it on a whim. Damn that game was hard.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."yeah, MK 9 Shao Kahn is hard til you realize he can be very much baited into spamming his hammer throw and spear which you can teleport behind with Raiden. Then X X Circle into torpedo. That's how I beat the last fight of story mode.
Wasn't just him, the Goro & Kintaro dual boss-fight was also a total bitch to play.
There are a lot of points I recall struggling with at that game.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."So I recently found out Thuy Trang (well known for playing Trini in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) auditioned for the role of Jade in Mortal Kombat Annihilation. Which makes Dan Southworth playing Kenshi in Legacy and Johnny Yong Bosch voicing Kung Jin in X rather prophetic.
So what exactly is Shao Kahn mad at Rain for in this scene from MK: Annihilation? In some descriptions, Rain's failure is that he didn't kill Kabal and Stryker and simply captured them but others say he did kill them and Kahn is mad because Rain didn't torture them first. Which is it?
Either of those could be correct. Rain said Stryker and Kabal were "Taken." We don't know if he meant they were captured, or had their souls taken. Then Kahn is like, "Did you torture them before you killed them?" Then Rain says "But I thought-" and then he gets cut off, so we don't know if he was going to say, "I thought it would be best not to waste time torturing them and killed them right away," or "I thought capturing them would be better than killing them."

Ed Boon: The story of Liu Kang's journey in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath is done
"I guess you can summarize the story that we've told as Liu Kang's journey, in a sense," stated Boon. "In my head, that's done. We're not going to be expanding with like 'oh, and then this happened and we reset again.' We really feel like that's the end of that timeline."
Sssssoooooo......no more DLC?
Makes sense but at the same time, bummer.
That entire scene was just stupid.
So Rain was able to beat 2 of the chosen warriors but instead of rewarding him, Shao Kahn punish him by death? Rain did more than anyone else did & he got killed for it. God, that movie was so stupid.
That’s because Kenshi never goes to see his son............Get It?
