The Mysterious Mr. Enter

I believe it was some time before the Atlantis Squarepantis review.Done as a way to foreshadow that review in several of his videos(I actually thought at first it was some sort of reference to a horror movie).

Mr. Enter gives some advice for newbies in his latest video.

Well, looks like he apologized for the whole Casey Alexander thing.

And about time too.

Though I might be skeptical of this (he might have done this only when he realized it made him look bad), this is a step in the right direction.

Or he might have actually felt bad about it. A similar thing happened with his review of the MLP FIM episode "Putting Your Hoof Down", said review he highly regrets only because of the personal attacks he made on the writers of the episode {He still hates the episode itself, but he's not proud of some stuff he said in the review}. He also wasn't happy with the people who gave death threats to another FIM writer because of an episode he didn't like.

I'm dreading the Ren seeks help review,just reading the synopsis disgusts me.I don't know how Enter managed to watch it in its entirety(along with seeing clips during editing).

This is going to get him a lot of views. I can tell because every deviation he makes about it gets a buttload of comments lol

As a Ren and Stimpy fan who finds the apc watchable, I like the episode. I understand why people won't though. A lot of things kid ren were things John did in his childhood (minus the frog) and the story was suppose to be in season 2! If he wanted to do an animated atrocity for the apc, he should have done Onward and Upward imo. It's not awful, but it's very gross.

They must have made the episode more "adult" when it broadcast - nothing like that would have passed muster on a kids network!

Apparently the episodes of APC were rejected storylines from the original show. The story editors' complaints (see Sick Little Monkeys) are eerily prescient, and one would think had John remembered those complaints, he'd be better off.

The episode was entitled "Ren Needs Help," and it bears little resemblance to the APC episode - the Games episode is about Ren getting committed to an insane asylum.

On the topic of Enter, he seriously should change his score card. Very cluttered and confusing.

I think this episode hit one of his biggest beserk buttons,animal abuse.Which could explain why he chose Ren Seeks Help,he sees it as more gruesome then other episodes of APC.

Though Sick Little Monkeys has the opinion that the animal abuse is not gratuitous - it serves to illustrate how fucked up Ren is.

Maybe we're all seeing the episode wrong?

On John's blog for this episode, he said the episode wasn't meant to condone animal abuse in a comment.

To be honest, I really don't think so.

He doesn't seem to get the difference between showing an action and condoning the action - in fact, a lot of people on this forum don't get it either.

I'm gonna try and inform him that as soon as possible. Maybe he'll add it to the script.

I tried telling him in his comments, but his fans didn't even bring up my points when replying. They just brought up irrelevant things to the topic -_-
