Character Specific Page cleanupAs pointed out in the Smash thread, someone made a command list for Kazuya in Smash.
It reminds me of the command lists for Mortal Kombat and other 2D fighters, actually.
The sad, REAL American dichotomySo, I have a question: Are the older Tekken games (like 1-4) available on the PS3 store? I ask because I’m liking Kazuya in Smash.
I do have Tekken 3 but it’s the Play Station Classic version running at 50hz as opposed to 60hz.
Why not get 7, you may ask? I need to limit spending for the time being so it’s just cheaper for me to get the older games right now.

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!To my knowledge, only the first two games are. Tekken 3, last I heard, wouldn't be available due to Gon. As for Tekken 4, I heard it was supposed to be backwards compatible with PS 3 but when I tested it, no luck.
So for 3 and 4 I’d have to get the discs then.
Shouldn’t be too expensive but looks like it’ll most likely be 2 I start with.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Only some models of PS 3 are backwards compatible, if you meant testing a physical copy.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyAlas, yeah, I got a PS 2 Slim exclusively because neither of my P S3s (the one that works, and the one that had a hardware issue that Sony doesn't care to fix...) were backwards compatible. I wanted to be able to play Soul Calibur 3 (the game that introduced me to Tekken, by way of the preview disc included with it) and Wipeout Fusion.
I just now realized that we have Sonic (my favorite game series) to thank for me being a Tekken fan. Beyond Sonic making me a gamer in the first place, that is:
- I'm a Tekken fan because I had some familiarity with it when I played it at a friend's place.
- But again, I only was familiar with Tekken because of the preview disc that came with Soul Calibur 3, which included the opening scene for Tekken 5.
- I only had SC 3 because I got a PS 2 for it, because I was a fan of the series after playing SC 2 on Gamecube.
- But I only played SC 2 on Gamecube because it was on a preview disc, a very cheap one that also included demos for Sonic Adventure DX, Billy Hatcher, and Viewtiful Joe.
- I got that preview disc because I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy Sonic DX, but did want some of the bonuses that came on that disc.
- And of course, I bougth a Gamecube because that was the de facto home of Sonic after Sega stopped making consoles.
So does this mean in the Smash universe Kazuya outranks Sephiroth who outranks the god hand thing who outranks an army of Master Hands.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I mean, it's impressive that Kazuya managed to defeat Ganondorf, but Sephiroth straight up one-shot Galeem.
That being said, I still think Kazuya is much more powerful than some people believe. No matter what Death Battle has to said.

Flashing back to years ago now when I regularly made Power Tier Lists for games and stuff.
Based on story stuff ya know, not gameplay.
Let's see if I can remember my list...
Tier 1: Devil Jin/Regular Jin, Full Power Devil Kazuya
Tier 1.5: Normal Kazuya, Heihachi, Jinpachi
Tier 2: Hwoarang, Ogre, Paul, Jun
All I got .lol It's been too long.
What did Death Battle say about him?
The Tekken Spirit Board (where characters not in Smash are represented by characters who are in Smash, as a decent approximation):
- Paul Phoenix & Marshall Law: Ken Masters (Street Fighter) & Fox Mc Cloud (Starfox)
- Nina Williams: Zero Suit Samus (Metroid), with two Mii Gunners representing mercenaries, presumably from the Tekken Force
- King & Armor King: Incineroar and Incineroar
I accurately predicted all of those, except Fox as Law (I didn't think Law would even be in it)
Also, there was:
- Ling Xiaoyu: Mii Brawler with the Ashley (Wario Ware) wig. She also could have backup from a Mii Gunner, but the fight I watched didn't last that long to see who that Gunner would've been
- Kuma and Panda: Mii Brawler and Mii Gunner in bear costumes. Presumably the White Bear Gunner is the one that would've backed up Xiaoyu.
- Asuka Kazama: Wii Fit Trainer
- Yoshimitsu: Mii Swordfighter, with a second sword (the Killing Edge) equipped.
- Jack-7: a team of Green Donkey Kongs
- Jin Kazama: Kazuya in black pants
- Heihachi Mishima: A horned Mii Brawler. Only the Heihachi Mii costume if you've actually bought it.
And the battle conditions reference how the fighters are in Tekken. For example, "Asuka" shields often (plays defensively). As an Asuka main... fair enough. Of course, that's easily exploited in Smash. "Yoshimitsu"'s fight has everyone take damage over time.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyFor now, here's link to the Smash remixes. This playlist has 31 of the 39 tracks at the moment.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyWhether you consider from the arcade release, or from the home release, Tekken 7 has lasted for a while. Blaz Blue and Street Fighter have longer bars, but they're also series with Capcom Sequel Stagnation and updated rereleases.
I'm just now seeing this mod, but it would've been nice to have Kid Kazuya be playable in the base game. Just Kazuya minus the Devil moves, with different throws, duck under some highs, worse range, and a longer/faster dash distance.
I looked up how old Lidia is, since I was disappointed by how youthful they made the fictional Prime Minister of Poland look. The wiki translation of the official site says she became PM at 29. 5 years younger than the youngest currently serving state leader. That would also put her as one of the youngest non-royal state leaders in the last 120 years of world history.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyBamco's Esports channel has an animation series with some humorous discussion about some of the series' tropes and conflicts:
Lol I saw those in my feed
Bamco has released "Definitive Edition" bundles of Tekken 7, so it's pretty clear if it wasn't before that DLC support has ended.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI'm not a fan of it being digital only. It doesn't matter to me considering I already own the game, but I kinda wish Bamco sold it physically as well as digitally.
Help me. I can't get it out of my head. There's a seperate physical collection that was already made, but it doesn't have absolutely everything.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyWhat, they still haven't released a physical complete edition for the game?

tl,dr - "high level player passive-aggressively critiques low-rank players and makes a video about it with a comment section of Tekken players who support his efforts"
2)You don't have the reaction speed to react because you didn't train your eye to recognize animations thus in decision making level in defense you are slower than the average.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).And on a different note, where you would rank the female fighters in Tekken feat/lore-wise?
I'm feeling like either Kazumi, Jun, or Nina would be at the top. Maybe Alisa. Lucky Chloe I have no earthly idea. Anna somewhere around Nina. Julia and Xiaoyu...

Kazuya explained:
The Mishima Dojo stage:
Lol, Devil Kirby.
39 Music tracks!
No new Tekken Mii costumes...
- Shantae is a Mii costume... At least she looks good.
- Mii costumes also include Dohvakiin, Lloyd Irving, and featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series.
