The villain side isn't really that developed aside from previously established characters (Arthur, Jericho), characters who are important to the heroes' backstory (Ironside, Jericho again), or Ardbeg, who really serves more to show how Arthur recruits his knights and who doesn't last long anyway.
Is this because we meet Pellegarde's family and learn more about his motivations for serving Arthur in Chapter 135?
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Chapter 138: We follow post-time skip Nasiens, especially his meeting with King, Diane, and all their children. There's a popular theory that Nasiens may be their missing kid, switched out with Myrtle (who is the most human-like child) when he was a baby.
Also, I've finally started watching the anime on Netflix, and I just coincidentally watched the Echo Gorge arc.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).If the theory's true then it's kinda funny how the fairies never stopped being utter assholes to King.
Secret Signaturechapter out. Ah, fae being utter dicks to King, you love to see it.
Lol at that Nasiens "reveal". Sure is UQ Holder in here.

Secret SignatureThe way they're handling Nasiens's gender reveal makes me nervous. It could get very messy if handled wrong. Not surprised by him maybe being King and Diane's kid, but I'm not excited either.
They did get me to like Mertyl a lot more, though, and I'm excited to see the hooded mage from way back in the story. I always wondered if he was an one-off character.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).I'm essentially waiting for this repeat from the first series, aka the main character being "dead", to end before I get back in. It was stupid then, its even stupider now imo.

How so? We already know the backstory of every main character except Gawain and some of Lancelots past. The rest either had dedicated arcs or chapters to introduce them. Even that asshole Chion has had part of his backstory explained, with a hint at more.
