This will of course turn out to be all Merlin’s fault, and I’d expect nothing less.

The image showing Arthur's visions of all the dead loved ones is interesting. You get cameos from Nakaba's avatar (the pig) and the protags from his previous works. But there's also Monspeet chilling by the left corner. Is this also a fun cameo or is it supposed to show that Derieri's reincarnation is somewhere in Liones?

Nakaba and important villains getting beaten like chumps, name a more iconic duo.

I knew Lancelot was going to put up a fight, but I didn't know he was going to wipe the floor with Arthur THAT hard.

It looked a bit different in that sequence. I guess we'll see if she changes her wardrobe when she's formally introduced.

Perhaps it is bad writing, but I enjoyed Lancelot being a boss. Tristan's attempt at backseat fighting too.

Can we say Thetis/Derieri will be one of Lancelot's bros now?

Nice to have a chapter where the characters can wind down for a bit.

It seems like Tristan is worried others see him as Inspirationally Disadvantaged. He's already special just because he survived his conflicting gene makeup and because he's the only natural-born nephilim in existence, so people don't think to assign him any respect on top of that for things he actually does. Perhaps if he was just sickly or just a prince or just cute they wouldn't worry about him, but all of those things together? He's a symbol, and people don't like "their" symbols in dangerous situations. It makes them feel bad, even if it's honorable work that the person wants to do.

I'm overestimating it. I know we haven't seen any of this behaviour from anyone in Liones. But I would like to know why Meliodas assigned Tristan three bodyguards, and if that has anything to do with him jaunting off to Edinburgh without permission.

Yet another chill chapter with more character development for Percival and Tristan's platoons. Judging from the title, it looks like Percival's friends might split from him to train as Holy Knights.

Also, one of the biggest plot twists yet: Chion being Gilthunder's son.

I love that Gil doesn't even give Chion the benefit of the doubt anymore. With his enhanced HK senses, he probably heard the whole conversation.
