Wisdom, restraint, iron cornea!
That fifth panel looks like a scene from some sort of demonic "West Side Story", except with actual knives.
Ah, but who is the Boss, and who will kill them?

Vash should have kept Delicious around, they would both have been better off.
"Roughly eight seconds into the embarrassingly one sided fight with the angel Kill Boss was struck with the horrible thought that metaphorically speaking he might be nothing more than a glorified miniboss for an optional side quest. Perhaps even worse he feared that at least part of the motivation for the accepting of the proverbial side quest was only the opportunity to give the human woman experience points."

No time for plot. We training montages now.
I'm just impatient for something unpredictable to happen.
Killboss is the only sensible goon in the whole joint. They're polite, task-focused, and know how to balance risk and reward.
And you can almost hear the little squeaky noise as Vash deflates.
At first, I thought the city was on fire. I guess those are clouds.
Random question, is it ever explained what happened to Mammon? Last we saw his tower was up in flames.
Last we got was Mammon going nuts as Yre burned, so he was still alive.
So who wants to bet he'll come back more competent now that the source of his obsession is gone?
