The show was the epitome of harmless to boot. I didn’t get the freak out from people over her design. And now it has a second season in development.
Basically people who don't watch anime think the show was sexualized children due her having big boobs(despite both main characters are college students), or they think it promoted unrealistic beauty standard, claiming that there no short woman who have big boobs.
But seem like the same people now switch their target to Nagatoro, claiming it promoted bully and racism again the blacks.
