(looses another arrow towards Mami's head, then dismisses his bow in favor of his twin swords)

It's very simple. Either we kill Witches or Witches kill us and everyone else. I think I've made myself clear.(trains aim at him, but doesn't fire just yet)

By "we", are you counting that kid in blue? The one you were attacking?

Miki reaches for life, but there's too much damage, too many wounds, his body riddled with bullet holes from the magical musket barrages. The darkness swirls in his Soul Gem, further fuelled by Mami's betrayal, and his growing despair of never seeing home again... never seeing Kyosuki again. There's more black than blue in it now, and he can still barely move.

I can't stay much longer, there's other stuff going on, so don't interfere too much. Better come up with a new plan for that Infinity Blade.

...it is the risk of every Puella Magi that they will turn into a Witch. There is no escaping it. I too will sooner or later fall into despair, but once I do I will make sure to end myself, to not extend the vicious cycle.

It is best to prevent rather than heal the damage done. Sayaka Miki has mutated already, turned into a disgusting spawn that preys on humans, that feeds with their despair.

The corrupting darkness in the Soul Gem reaches its peak as Miki realizes, and despairs... he'll never see his beloved Kyosuki, who he sold his very soul to heal, again... and all because of his supposed friend Tomoe's betrayal. There is a surge of energy, and a jagged crack runs down the Soul Gem...

And then in a flash of pink light, Miki is gone, and the weapons fall to the floor.

(turns right around upon seeing the pink flash) Wha-where did that thing go?!(looks around frantically in search for Miki)
