I've been watching a bunch of SGB's Let's plays mainly, particularly the Mario and Sonic stuff, Dead Space, The Walking Dead, Rugrats and LA Noir. All of those LP's are pretty good, though the Dead Space one is a bit of a drag {Not because of the guy's commentary, which is hilarious, but because the game itself gets really boring to watch after a while}. TWD, Sonic Adventure {Both games}, Sonic Heroes and La Noir ones in particular are really great.
Speaking of his newest review, here's a courtesy embed of it:
Johnny's latest Sonic game review is that of Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. AKA that one Sonic RPG developed by Bioware for the Nintendo DS.
Ah yes Ear rape the game... given that it was developed by bioware And that the sonic fandoms... reputation. I'm surprised it didn't have sex scenes.
Not cool...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I kid... I'm also a sonic fan and I'm aware that our reputation has been ruined by a vocal minority of weirdos such as Chris chan.
The presentation for that game looks so sloppy too. The artwork seems like the bare minimum effort was put into it to make it professional, it's really cheap looking.
I get the impression nobody at Bioware really cared to make this at all.
Not only did they rip off Ocremix for some of the tracks without credit, as a certain high quality rip shows, they could've made listenable music with their low-tier instruments if they tried.
This sums it up https://youtu.be/xhaPvmqqIS0
oh no bioware cared.....its just the same problem sega has always had "rush this game out by a certain time....who cares if the sounds substandard and the game has issues! we want a game out now!"

" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."There's not much evidence that Bio put much effort though. As tempting as it is to blame Sega, it's Bioware that designed the game, so I feel they deserve responsibility for its quality.
someone must have cared about sonic considering they used the swatbots from satam as mooks and plagurised (allegedly) the comics for the antagonists. I honestly truly believe if bioware was given time it may have been a slightly better game
I doubt it would have been a classic but a lot better than it turned out to be
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."In recent weeks, Johnny has continued covering the rest of the Legend of Zelda series, which has finally come to an end (for now) with his review of Breath of the Wild:
Also, since the previous time this thread was updated, Johnny got his channel a bit of an art and music update with new channel/title art and opening theme for his videos.
Looks like Johnny is taking on the Kingdom Hearts series for his next marathon. This'll be a doozy.

Have to say I found myself largely agreeing with this review, though I wouldn't go so far as to say the game should be skipped regardless of future titles in the series having more polished gameplay.

that link is getting an error for me.
Sorry about that, it's fixed now.
Johnny reviews Knuckles Chaotix. This happens to be the bonus review he first showed in his panel at the TooManyGames convention this year.

Necro because Johnny got interviewed by the Weekend Philler (starts at 7:35 in the video in the link).
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Necro again: Elliot and Sabrina are engaged.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."In other news, Johnny finally reviews Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled:
Also, he's starting Dual Marathon of two different franchises, though I'm not sure which ones they're gonna be.

I assure you, I'm a completely trustworthy person. He said that they were going to be Resident Evil and Kirby.
John is going quiet for a few days because his mom had a brain aneurism.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."
As promised, Johnny has posted a review of Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice.
He believes it's a big improvement over the other Sonic Boom games, but also believes that it feels a little barebones (especially for a $40 3DS title) and doesn't really invite multiple playthroughs.
Also, looks like he's gearing up for another Sonic marathon, this time focusing on the portable spinoffs. And the next review will be of Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location.
