Its just gibberish.
And man this was great. I love it when an anime comes out of no where and surprises me with how good it is.

Who?
Wow. This really is looking pretty promising. The show's tone is just so serious in contrast to what's actually going on.
This show...

This show was not on my radar at all, but hearing all the postive feedback from around the net made me check it out. I'm glad I gave it a look, this was definitely one of the best first eps of the season. Hopefully it can maintain this level of quality throughout its run.
This is really, really good! :'D
I started reading the manga and that's good too, but not nearly as good. It lacks most of the CMOA's and the comical mood dissonance.
Thankfully, it's not all zany antics; a lot of plot happens.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Yeah, read the first six chapters of the manga. It indicates that the anime will probably be good, but it's really not that great. Can't take itself so seriously.
I liked the first ep a lot. This could easily be one of the gems of the season.
And Japanese fast food places are apparently pretty swank places to work, judging by the staff room.

I really enjoyed the first episode. (And I'm Canadian. I'm so glad Viz didn't get this.)
Not Three Laws compliant.I don't know about that. The anime could really make it better than it is. Let's hope for the best.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I meant that the manga isn't that great, but it indicates that the anime probably won't suck.
Will we see any fights similar to the opening segment at some point?
Watch SymphogearThere haven't been any actual non-one-sided fights in the manga, but probably at least when Emi's background as the hero is revealed. And from how the manga is turning out, it's vaguely hinting at fights with a currently-faceless enemy in the future. Possibly the land lady. No idea what her deal is yet.
Also, it's kind of eerie how genuinely nice and helpful Maou is to humans when it's obvious from the beginning of the anime (which was sadly not included in the manga) he's really not a very nice guy. He started to explain himself, but really, wow.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Didn't it say he wanted to make a Modern Arcadia of some kind? Like maybe he intended to rule peacefully but he had to do that whole "conquer" thing first? I dunno. We never do really see him do the atrocities.
Who?
I knew deep down someone would make a Hetalia joke. Strangely, America remembered he existed in the new episode.
So I had to give this a shot when psgels gave it a 90%. Okay color me pleasantly surprised.
I enjoyed this immensely, laughed quite a lot and liked the characters. Also that was one hell of a backstory set up that hilariously contrasted with the current situation. Also music and animation is good.
Also their made up language is just the best.
I consider it my duty to ensure that, should you be surprised by a bear in your library, you will have ample ammunition to beat it to death. The source material isn't the manga; it's the light novel. It's not too unlikely for the anime to turn up better than the manga especially if the manga happens to compromise more.
Well it's not all that funny to me, however I'm intrigued enough to keep watching. Best thing I watched so far this season.
Occasionally looks like it's considering being a Hollywood Fish Out Of Water Romantic Comedy.
I did laugh when the Demon lord said every day of work at Mg Ronald was one step closer to ultimate conquest. So it is a pretty comic scenario when you think about it.
Decent execution, will continue to watch.
Based on the manga, it definitely has strong romantic comedy elements.
I laughed so hard at this part:
Too bad that's like the only time ever you get to hear the demon-accented-Japanese (which is even funnier than Engrish)
MMORPGs are serious business. They also mispronounce "katsudon" in the police station.
Oh, I suppose there was that.
That was more of mishearing something since the rest of what they said in the same sentence was perfect Japanese, though.
MMORPGs are serious business. But the way they said it made it sound more like something from the Lord of the Rings than a Japanese word. That was clearly supposed to be their accent.
First episode is out....
I love it, already.
I wonder what language the two demons are supposed to be speaking, though.
