Warframe: F2P co-op Guyvering

Even without Blink, Itzal is faster than a K-Drive. I'm pretty sure that with maxed-out Naramon and Zenurik, your operator is also faster. They need to buff K-Drives instead of nerfing all of the competition.

What's this about Itzal? I'm not seeing anything in the patch notes.

In last devstream, Steve Sinclair discussed nerfing Itzal to make K-Drives better.

That went about well as you've expected with players. Nerfing one archwing because it's faster than K-drives???

That is not a very sound logic if you ask me.

At first, when he suggested it, it sounded like they were joking. Scott said that by having one best option for speed, it removes choice from the game, and then Steve talked about how people use Itzal so much because a) there's only one entrance and exit to the open world areas and b) there's nothing to do in between the stages of a bounty, so there's no reason to not just go to the next spot as fast as you can.

If they do nerf our movement options, I'm hoping they'll also reduce the need for them.

Yeah, I would be surprised if that change made it through to live.

It's gratuitous at best, at worst it'll be really annoying.

Equinox Prime◊ is out of the oven

I have Equinox normal but never got the motivation to spend 4+ Forma into making a good build on it work. Prime comes with half that preinstalled and its fun :)

I know that feeling. I was looking at my Warframes to decide which one I'd give my umbra forma to, and I dismissed a lot of them because they weren't primed.

I ended up putting it on my Oberon Prime, and I ended up sinking a lot of forma to give him a POWER build.

Same reason I haven't done much with Khora, because she needs like half a dozen Forma for herself and her kitty.

New Aura Forma is up.

Between the abysmal drop rate and the high build requirements, it feels like you're better off building a second frame over getting this.

I've never felt the need to change an Aura polarity.

Also, Wolf beat Alad V. I presume that means this season will be ending soon.

The current Nightwave season will last at least until May 15.

Phew. I thought I was running out of time to get all the cosmetics, and I only just got ahold of the Wolf Howl emote.

On other good news, I've got my Opticor up to Forma 4 so far! I kinda forgot what some of the mods I was going for, but I got most of them!

Do whatever elements work best for the current faction. I prefer gas for Infested, magnetic for Corpus, and corrosive for Grineer, but there are other options. Radiation is a good general-purpose element since most mobs aren't resistant and its confusion effect is helpful. But your deck is full with mostly good mods, so I'm not sure what to take out. I guess Shred is a little unnecessary, but even that's not terrible.

M Agnetic is kind of a waste for Corpus, it's only good against shields and Gas and Toxin bypass shields entirely, as do slash procs

Well, at the very least the Piercing Caliber is just a placeholder. I'll take that other suggestions in mind though! Thankies!

I would replace Speed Trigger with Vile Acceleration. It gives even more fire rate, and the penalty to damage is negligible.

I don't think +120% puncture damage is a waste on the weapon with the second highest puncture damage in the game. Definitely keep that.

Aura Forms doesn't change the Polarity of the Aura Slot but turns it into "Fits all polarities"

Which can be useful (My Chroma Prime could use it) but still keeps it at 'Nice but not mandatory'

I don't have Vile Acceleration.

gas itself doesn't bypass shields, it's the status effect it does. So yeah I'd not put gas on low status ever, and bonus against light infested? Toxic Ancients and Ancient Healers say hello. (against infested, heat/corrosive is king, which is what I mod my ignis wraith for (and for grineer to lesser extent)

What's interesting about gas status effect is, if you have a a faction damage mod their bonuses are applied thrice during the calculation of toxin cloud damage per tick.

Double post but I'm watching a video by Life Of Rio and he's discussing how Warframe partners are upset with Digital Extremes.

He discusses how there's no true end game for YEARS and every time anyone asks DE about it, they deflect it. Always.

What are everyone's thoughts about this? On end game that is.

My thoughts are, "So?" It doesn't really matter to me. It's their game and it's free-to-play to boot.

How many times have they tried to introduce a "true end game" in the past only to be told "this isn't good enough, it's too easy!"? Sorties, raids, Onslaught, the Eidolons and Profit-Taker, Arbitrations... All of them were supposed to be difficult, but just became the new thing to farm.

I think a major balance overhaul is necessary before "true end game" content can exist. And if such a rework happened, I know everyone would complain about the extensive nerfs that would involve.

Yeah, WF doesn't need Endgame. If they bring back the 8 Squads raids, it might be fun. But its not necessary to enjoy the game.

You want Endgame? Go play Destiny or Anthehahahaha......
