I put together a Highlander DH - squeezed into Gold 9 with it so far. Currently it's Zephrys, Dragonqueen, Cobalt Spellkin (high chance of getting Consume Magic for a silence and card cycle - DH has only two 1-cost spells, and Mana Burn is a nice consolation prize), Faceless Corruptor and 26 DH cards, but I might have to tech it a little (i.e. Ooze for the Warblades)
Works well enough against Aggro DH's which seem to be the most popular take so far.
As for the card packs, got both Druid legendaries. Don't care for Ysiel, but Mshhfn might be nice if I decide to put together a Quest Druid.

grahSo happy DH's are a bigger cnancer that Res Priest, so I can play without moral or ethical consequences.
“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson.Wow, thats gotta be a record on how fast they are nerding something.
Priestess of Fury better be looked into because that card has singlehandedly won me games
Uni catThere's definitely a "You are not prepared!" joke in there somewhere.
Yike this fast. Hearthstone's been way more trigger happy about nerfs since Ben Brode left (Though also less into Nerfing cards into being unplayable). But still that's insanely fast.
Interesting is that none of the cards are involved in the OTK combos except for skull of guldan (who is generally insane) so guessing those are okay.
I do think it sort of also sets a bad precedent.
"Hey guys, look at the new class, come buy packs and stuff with our preorder pack offers"
1 day later
"Joking lol we're nerfing a bunch of those"

I reached Rank 3 playing only DH and when i'm about to enter 2 i get Kripparian level luck and lose all the matches and go back to 5. Then when i'm about to beat a DH with a Mage, game disconnects and i lose.
Screw you too blizzard.
Uni catI copy Priestess of Fury as a Priest and win games against DH's. Definetly nerf material.
“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson.Hopefully unlike with the last day1 deck people whined about they get the balance right and don't nerf it to unplayable.
The changes look reasonable, from what I see. Weakening the curve and the absurd lifegain of the warblades.

Where are the changes. Care to share?
- Skull of Gul’dan – Mana cost increased from 5 to 6.
- Imprisoned Antaen – Mana cost increased from 5 to 6.
- Eye Beam – Outcast Mana cost increased from 0 to 1.
- Aldrachi Warblades – Durability decreased from 3 to 2.
Wonder how much impact Skull at 5 will have, especially for the combo version.
Antaen at 6 means you can't drop it on 5 and have it wake up on turn 7, for when you also drop your Priestess of Fury.
1 mana Eye Beam means less easy removal, and less Outcast and combo shenanigans.
And less durability on the Warblades limits DH's sustainability a bit.
I got up to Diamond 10 with a less optimized DH, to take advantage of the Kayn Sunfury I got in a pack. And all of these cards were really good, so I'm not surprised they're getting hit.

People recommending Underbelly Ooze (7 mana 3/5; After this survives damage, summon a copy of it) as an anti-Antlion (and anti-Priestess) tech is kind of hilarious, admittedly, considering the card hasn't seen any play to speak of prior to that. Warlocks have Zzeraku instead, but apparently Bonechewer Vanguard works well too. (likely much more susceptible to silence/removal though)
Either way, I don't doubt all of these cards will still be played, though aggro decks might give up on the Antenna now that he costs 6.

grahSo did Demon Hunters just vanished or what?
Seems the nerfs were effective
Uni catI was gonna write the exact same thing. I've not seen a DH today.
No, I keep seeing them frequently enough in upper Gold.
It's not like the nerfs were crushing. Apparently Antlion is no longer played in upper-tier DH decks, but all the others are going to be fine. Perhaps people have finally began devising decks that have a fighting chance against Demon Hunters?
grahI imagine more people are experimenting with the other classes they wanted to as well.
Except Warrior, which seems to be really bottom of the barrel right now.
Thought that was Shaman but i was able to win a game with my Quest Galakrond Shaman, who is missing a shudderwock
Having more success with Highlander DH than smorc/midrange DH so it's good to mix things up.
That said, i hate druids. Their ramp is so dumb now.
Uni catI'm really enjoying the gameplay of DH even post-nerfs. Maybe even especially? I'm getting to use cards like Kayn Sunfury and Maeiv for lethals out of nowhere much more.
I've just reached Diamond 5 with my libram paladin deck! If Rank 5 was the equivalent of Diamond 10, I'm better this expansion than I've ever been before!
I was 2 games away from legend then i faced nothing but counters and bad draws. Now i'm back to Diamond 4
This game is crap and is fucking rigged
Uni catYou know what's the worst feeling? Getting Dragonqueen'd in Arena, followed by Malygos into Twin Tyrant for 0 mana each.
...honestly, that card and Zephrys should both be out of that mode, IMO, as should any highlander cards.

grahHow do you exploit Outcast?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.I think Burn Mana is a sleeper OP card no one is talking about.
It's a really strong turn denier and for 1 mana it feels really really strong
Uni cat
I guess my Libram paladin deck is good against this with how much healing it has available.
