so far, the guy in the Black trailer seems to be the only one trying way, way too hard to sound badass or something.
So, we've pretty much heard everybody except Weiss speak by now, huh? Well, we've heard her sing, but I imagine her speaking voice sounds slightly different. Or she only communicates through song.
I guess I'm one of the few that didn't mind the voice acting at all.
Watch SymphogearEh, I'm sure the actors will grow into their roles. Standard procedure.
It certainly doesn't bring down the awesomeness of the show as a whole.
Bleye knows Sabers.Weiss is voiced by Kara -which you only heard a small grunt- Weiss' singing voice is of course Casey
Honestly yeah the Voices will just have to grow into the role -Heck go back to the original RVB episodes and you'll see what I mean-
I still say Black is probably the weakest trailer, though that's more Its less about just Blake and more about Her and Adam.
Hell Blake's pose moment -All the girls do the pose against the Moon- is a blink and you miss it.
Ruby and Yang's is their intro to fighting Weiss' is her finishing blow.
I'd rate the Trailers as
White: Is probably the best character trailer, since the song and several of the visual cues are insight into Weiss character -The moonlight making it appear Weiss is crying-
Yellow: Yang is a fun character but really the fighting is what makes this a standout with a different variety of opponents. -Mafia goons, the Twins and Junior-
Red: While Badass, the trailer suffers from Mook overkill... The werewolves never approach any level of a threat to Ruby.
Black: The Trailer isn't Blake, but her and Adam, Thus spilting the focus of the trailer. Not helping matters is once the spider shows up Blake has to be saved by Adam... twice and she doesn't even land the finishing blow.
Yeah, I can agree that Blake had the weakest trailer. It's not her fault though. It's Adam's.
And, of course, saying that Blake's trailer was the weakest is basically saying it only blew my mind eight times instead of ten.
Bleye knows Sabers.I think we can agree that the voice acting will improve as the series goes on. It sure as hell did for Red Vs Blue.
The dialogue is usually just "meh". Stock phrases like "You're gonna pay for this" can be found everywhere else. I'm none too thrilled about it, but I do think the dialogue will turn relatively wittier once we get into the real series.
My problem is the voice pitches as opposed to the voice acting. Adam's trying too hard to sound gruff, the Valley Girl accents on the twins really grate my nerves, and Ruby's voice is way too childish, even for her.
I'm hoping the pitches change once the series begins/evolves.
In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl.I actually like the Twins's voices. Seems like they are a Goldfish Poop Gang.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenImpeccably dressed gothic lolita Extremity Extremist color-coded twin valley girls? I'd hope so.
I thought Yang's dialogue was good. You can tell she walked into the club hoping to start a fight.
Bleye knows Sabers.Yang was fine. Sometimes, she sounds off ("It's a long story" + the attempt to sound rougher during interrogation), but it's not too much of a deal breaker.
Blake sounds good, too. Junior was great - from the pitch to the acting (interrogation). Weiss, we've yet to hear, so I can't say anything about her yet.
Again, it's Ruby and Adam that I especially have issues with. Melanie and Milcia, at least, you can argue were supposed to sound annoying. Ruby is, for all we know, the main character. Her pitch when she said "Yang", though, I liked.

In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl. The only line that I thought didn't work from Jack was the "Your gonna pay for this"
Strictly cause it should be delivered with less calm repose, and more "I'm gonna paint the dance floor with your ovaries!"
Atleast that's what I do if some girl sucker punched me and crushed my balls!
Remember, this is still just a trailer. When the series actually begins, that's when we can go all out on the voice acting.
In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl.Very good action, voice acting ranged from acceptable (Yang, Junior) to meh (twins) to grating (Ruby), and Yang is definitely the most enjoyable of the protagonists so far, both in fighting style and in personality. After the relatively collected first three, it's nice to see someone have fun beating people up. The music was phenomenal, especially with how they integrated it with the club.
Hopefully, the series is closer to this short in quality than to Blake's.

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Two questions.
1: Is there still clipping in the animation to you guys?
2: Do you have a problem with the sound audio? Like, how obvious does it sound to you that they're talking in microphones?

In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl.I don't think the voices are bad, I just think there's an odd dissonance between the voices and the character design. So far, I think Whatsherface with the shotgun gloves is the only one whose voice (sorta)fits her look.
Spooky.I haven't seen any clipping as Egregious as Weiss' hair. I'll use that as an excuse to watch Yang's trailer for the fifteenth time.
We can finally confirm she's Goldilocks. Poor Deadb3ar.
I wonder how the story's gonna begin. I wonder if the trailers will be a part of the show. I wonder how much Les Yay will be present. I wonder how popular it will be. I wonder how Monty plans on one-upping himself again.

Bleye knows Sabers.Finishing Dead Fantasy of course XD
Adding Planet sized fingers.
Watch SymphogearCombining Asuras Wrath with Monty Oum is illegal, considering such a concentration of Awesomeness would cause reality to blow up since mere existence can not hold such Awesomeness.

So, do we have any links to the background music in the "Yellow" trailer, yet?
Not yet. I hope they have the dance mix and the song for Yang though.
Okay. So Ruby is a form of red (and homophonous of RWBY), Weiss means white, blake means black... But I can't seem to find anything indicating Yang to mean yellow to to otherwise be a form of it. :/
It means "Light". Her full name means (I think) "Little Light Dragon" and/or "Small Dragon of the Sun".
Her name is funny, because she sure as hell doesn't look Chinese.
Not that I can find China on this thing.◊
Bleye knows Sabers.Wait, that's a map of the world in the setting? o_O;
The music is just plain awesome
and you know it good when your character's theme "I burn" at the end is something you could see Yang working her hips to XD
