Aw man this is a huge bummer. I can't armor up any of the outfits I'm finding.

I really wanted to wear these.

Oh really when?

The fancy suit and the unique outfits all the raider leaders wear.

Plus all the ones I'm finding around the park.

Man the Cryolator kicks ass. This Gunner I'm making for Nuka World is the first character I've made that's seriously used it, and I really like it after installing the crystallizing barrel.

How do you find ammo for that thing again? I remember using it a lot at first and then storing it somewhere because I ran out of ammo.

Several hundred hours later, I don't even remember where I left the damn thing.

Even after killing every enemy within a bajillion miles of The Slog, Jamaica Plain, Taffington Boathouse and Hangman's Alley I am unable to reclaim them due to needing to clear out the enemies in the area.

I speculate that the problem may be the turrets. They can't be destroyed anymore, just disabled, so they still count as enemies that need to be eliminated.

When I was retaking Starlight movie place I had some turrets. I had to disable them all a couple of times and then the workshop opened up for me.

Seems I'm about done with Nuka World. Mostly. Maybe.

I still gotta find the hidden Cappy's, should probably meet the Hubologists, and there's still some unmarked places to explore.

And I guess those star cores but I can't be assed to find them without the quest tracking them for me.

Big warning for anyone wanting to by the Splattercannon....don't. There's a Legendary weapon called "The Problem Solver" that's the exact same gun with the same effect, and it's free. All you need to do is speak to Mason during quest "An Ambitious Plan" and pass the red speech check "Do as your [sic] told." Pass that, using chems if you must, and you get The Problem Solver. Literally the exact same gun without needing to speed 8,000+ to 10,000+ caps.

That was my reaction when I received The Probelm Solver after buying Splattercannon. I ended up selling Splattercannon and buying a lot of ammo for The Problem Solver and my Cryolator, so I was able to make the best of this.

Eh, Mason's fuzzy pants and necklace are in my trophy room now and I failed that check anyway.

[up][up]No problem. What amazes me is Bethesda putting 2 of the same Legendary weapon in the DLC...but making one free. It's really trollish.

I don't think it's just about passing that "do as your told" Speech check at the end of the conversation, I'm pretty sure I did that the first time I talked to the King of the Zoo Clowns and he didn't give me anything. But when I tested it just now by reloading an old save, I rushed through the conversation picking the rightmost, hostile responses, and that got me a hideous, tie-dyed AK-47, right as rain.

Meh, I walked into that park with close to 30,000 caps anyway. Might as well spend them on something. Though now I'm wondering what unique (or not-so-unique) legendaries the other gang bosses might give you if you pick the right path through their dialogue trees.

So before I get this DLC, is there a non-raider option that doesn't feel shoehorned in?

I could explain it but I dunno what your policy on spoilers is.

So there is, you start it by talking to one of the slaves working in the market. The quest is called Open Season and you kill every single raider in the park. The only problem is that it ends after that and now the park is empty and boring and all the other quests in the DLC are now failed since they involved working with the raiders.

But Open Season can be completed at any time. My personal recommendation is to work with the raiders and finish all their stuff and then turn on them.
