Fabo.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!@ Arha: She's stated to have S-class Potential, and it seems like that Darkshine will probably end up being her Personal Trainer at some point to help her with that.
Watch SymphogearMeaningless hype is meaningless until it pays off.
Which is the whole point of the series, but Its nothing I find too bad.
Plus, Murata's God Tier art is more then enough to entertain me, and ONE even felt like he should start giving Murata better story boards as result of how he was able to get out such a huge chapter in around a month.
Watch SymphogearI suspect it will. Murata and ONE don't seem like the types to introduce a character and put this much focus on them and not have it pay off (which I think other Mangaka would).
Hell, I think there's a reason we saw all of these guys here. Someone pointed out they may play a role in the other Hero Association that started in the webcomic. I think that's also the case.
One Strip! One Strip! There's also the fact that this manga does occasionally feature the lower-ranked heroes even if they're not super important to the plot; remember Golden Ball, Spring Mustachio, Sneck and Lightning Max?
I think it's good that the Hero Organization is being more fleshed out and we get fights that aren't on S-Class level.
Do we know what Captain Mizuki looks like in color? Apparently, there's some disagreement. I think her hair's red or orange.
Okay, I rewatched the season 2 teaser, focusing on the text sections, and I found something incredible in Genos' section. They put his entire conversation about getting hair plugs for Saitama in there. The WHOLE conversation.
Murata says that the next update will be out on the 10th. Is it fair to assume "update" means "chapter"?
Also, it might be 360 pages.

Which means we might be getting another disassembled animation.
Chapter's out. Not translated yet, though.
Not quite the monster we were anticipating, but that should make the translation quicker at least.
It's an interesting turn of events. In the webcomic, Flash just one-shot Gale and Hellfire, which were Demon-level robots, and moved on. Here, he actually had an extended fight (I'd hesitate to call it "trouble" with both of them as Demons, and now their monster forms are Dragon. I fully expect Flash to get serious (note how Hellfire keeps asking him if that's his top speed) and beat them both next chapter, and 1v2'ing Dragons is a nice feather in his cap, though I've no clue if it'll be a quick one-shot again or another extended fight.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.I've seen some complaints that making an early fight like this longer ruins the hype of the Demon-stomping the other S Class heroes are about to do, but I disagree. For one, this is Flash's only fight before he spends the rest of the arc either getting humiliated by Saitama or getting his ass kicked by Garou, so it makes sense to throw him a bone with an epic battle here. For two, Gale and Hellfire actually being Dragon level is a change from the webcomic, while the other Demon level monsters have been shown to still be Demon level. I do expect and want the Demon-stomping to be expanded on a little, but I don't think each fight is going to be as long as this one is.

It's interesting because it introduces this whole backstory to Lightspeed Flash and what his relation with this mysterious ninja village is. As far as I can see, it probably goes something like this: There exists a hidden village that train ninjas to become assassins and hitmen. Lightspeed Flash was one of the graduates of their training program, but he wanted to go good or didn't like their ways or whatever, and probably slaughtered his entire graduating class before going and joining the Hero Association. So now the village is sending all sorts of hitmen after him for revenge. Speed of Sound Sonic is also a member, though probably a later graduating class, since he seems younger. Shadow Ring is from some other ninja village.
I can see that ONE probably wanted to introduce this in order to have some sort of filler material for future arcs. Because while One Punch Man is a great parody comedy, the pacing of the original story does not lend itself well to seasonal anime.

Thing is, before Gale and Hellfire were introduced in the manga, it was a pretty common fan theory that there was some kind of connection between Sonic and Flash. This just confirms it and expands on it earlier than I think some of the webcomic readers were expecting.
No, Sonic was from the 44th, same as Flash, the last generation. Because Flash slaughtered them all. Why Sonic was spared is up for grabs, but considering their respective showings "he was too slow to bother with" seems plausible.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Oh, was it that he slaughtered the entire village? I thought he just slaughtered only his graduating class, and possibly anyone who came after him to try to stop him afterward.
Hm. I thought it was Sonic who killed everyone. I guess I don't remember the details about them very well.
Sonic was referred to as the sole survivor of the 44th. Flash destroyed it, but he wasn't necessarily in it.
The translation I read had Gale and Hellfire call him the top student of the 44th.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Perhaps one of Mat's sloppier videos but still entertaining to me.
Aside from him somehow getting the speed of light wrong, my biggest complaint is that Saitama's greatest feat in season one isn't destroying the meteor but rather stopping a planet busting attack.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!
Season 2 has been confirmed to air in April 2019.
