Fresh-eyed movie blogThis seems interesting.
Then again, it's probably gonna be a platform for Just Dance and an insane amount of cheap sports and "family" games.
Though it'd make the next Steel Batallion game FUCKING AMAZING. Unlike the Kinect one >_>

But they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.Don't give Ballmer Ideas. That Be Dangerous, That Be.
Several years ago someone built a prototype where you could point at a wall and say "put a map of X on this wall" and the system would aim one of its projectors at that wall and display the image. This seems to be descended from that, which was originally intended for military operations.
Stop looking at Microsoft's technical support implementation team's notebook several years early, or else you will get folks saying "burn the witch".

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.
Apparently they bought the patent for their new gimmick: Using projectors to create a "more immersive" system, turning your room into a display surface.
It ain't virtual reality, but it's somehting.
Can't believe microsoft is out-gimmicking nintendo. I'll remain skeptic about how something like this could happen. No release date, of course, seems to still be in development.
