Chapter 1 — Case of Judgement and the Dark Catalyst

There are three worlds, divided by the power of each tower. Three worlds that were never meant to mingle, never meant to merge or even touch one another. Each had the potential to influence one, or the other, causing absolute carnage, absolute destruction on the worlds at large.

Why?, one asks.

Why were they created?

...

There is no answer. There is an answer, but to find it would mean finding out the truth of it all.

The truth hidden behind the Red Trinity. The truth behind the Catalysts. The truth behind the Dragons that created everything.

Power mad. Lonely. Darkness. Eternal slumber. It's all there, isn't it?, the man thinks.

Ah... so that's how it is.

Mikoto Misaka — Academy City, 4:12 PM — Vetustas

School had just ended for today, so Mikoto had a bit of time to herself. The middle-schooler opted for the park rather then returning to the dorm. She didn't want the dissatisfaction of being stuck with Kuroko for any extended period of time after school, lest she be handled by her. The thought made her shudder. "Ahh..." she took a sip of the orange soft-drink in her hand. She promptly crushed it afterward and threw it over her head, into the trashcan nearby.

Where is he, anyway? Mikoto looked up, trying to look for the specific individual in which had no important to her.

Kamijou Touma.

...

No, there was nothing. No sign of the black haired guy. "Ah, whatever... why am I so worried about this?" she placed a hand to her forehead. Yeah, she was blushing. It's not like she liked him or anything.

Flonyard, Biscotti — Below the Summoning Circle — Memoria

"Tch... I've been looking every damn place." Angela stabbed her ax into the ground, which created a crack which stretched in each direction. North, South, East, West, and the coordinates in between. It made an eight-pointed star, even. "Hey, dog, are you sure about this?"

"I-I'm sure, Angela-san." Millhiore, the Princess of Biscotti said with a smile. "Please calm down, though, please, I want the Hero to feel welcome."

"Yeah, yeah." the blue-haired midget fell to the ground, rear first as she sat next to her ax.

The summon circle up above began to glow a bright pink. It was almost time, the Hero was going to arrive! Millhiore could hardly wait. She immediately sprinted up the stairs as Angela sat there against the monument, about to fall asleep.

I'm finally going to meet him, the Hero of Biscotti!, the dog princess thought to herself, giggling.

Tokyo, Japan — Iam

"Still nothing." Verium placed a hand to her waste as she stalked the streets of modern day Tokyo with a single objective in mind. She had to find him, he was the only thing that mattered to her. Where was he? Why did he leave? "Bastard." she said as she gripped the suitcase at her feet. "No use wondering about it now."

She stalked the streets once more in search of the man important to her.

Kino - Iam

The young nomad has heard some rumors, from her previous place of visit, that caught her attention. Someone has found a magical tower and there was suspicion that someone was trying to activate it. Legends say that this tower links to some other world, different from Iam.

Kino has spent her days traveling across the land with her companion Hermes, searching far and wide for new discoveries. But it was the first in a long time that a news she heard was directly relevant to her mission. Kino remembered; she was commissioned with the task of finding these towers and seeing what's beyond. She was a "catalyst" - she knew that she could do something about the tower once she arrived.

With this knowledge, she entered into a rather developed city named Tokyo.

Vetustas, Inside the Terran Dominion battlecruiser Cognac

In the hangar deck of the Cognac, a maelstrom of activity is currently taking place as all the maintenance and flight crews as well as a couple of Terran Marines are getting ready for the preparation of perhaps their most important mission since the Brood War against the alien race known as the Zerg... Their very first diplomatic mission to Earth.

"Come on people! We're behind schedule!"

Amidst the hustle and bustle, one man, seated atop a crate and watching the scenes before him rather impassively; stood out in particular amongst the drab gray jumpsuited crewmen and even the power armor-clad Marines. Wearing an black armored bodysuit with a red-tinted visor and carried with him a rifle that was almost as long as a child. Naturally, he earned a few looks from a couple of crewmen, who evidently weren't busy enough to make side comments regarding him.

"Why is that Ghost just sitting there and not helping us?"

"Shush! He can hear you man!"

"Hey! Stop slacking off and get that damn paint to where it's needed!"

The so-called Ghost did hear the comment, but he ignored them; along with the rest of the happenings in the hangar in favor of an internal monologue regarding recent and unbeknownst to him, very relevant visions.

I had that dream again...

The ghost hearkens back to a dream, In where he is thrust into a simple, technologically inferior yet lush and vibrant world filled with both magnificent beasts and incredibly powerful psionics who so very easily manipulate the substances and air around them to do their bidding, from bursts of flame and ice to constructs made of stone. Although it lacked the internet, the man very much preferred to reside in such a world rather than the war-torn and polluted empire of the Terran Dominion.

They're just dreams of a fantasy land... But why do I get this feeling that they're more than just dreams?

His internal monologue was thankfully cut short by a hand touching his shoulder. Reacting instinctively to a perceived danger, the Ghost grabs the hand along with the arm connected to it and utilized leverage to flip the threat over his shoulder.

"Ah!"

Upon seeing who his attacker was, The Ghost gasped in surprise... And fear, since he just gave the Dominion Ambassador that he was supposed to protect a freaking Judo throw on the hangar's neosteel floor, Prompting any who saw the scene to laugh for a brief moment before getting back to work.

"Ohhhh... At least your reaction is quick..."

"I'm so sorry."

The ambassador picks himself up from the floor with some difficulty before turning towards his bodyguard and speaking to him in a surprisingly forgiving tone.

"It's fine, my fault for crossing your killzone. But please don't let it happen again 1st Lieutenant Volkov."

Volkov nods in compliance before following his charge around as he watches the preparations for their sort-of historic arrival to Earth.

Iam: Tokyo Streets, Tokyo, Japan, 9:00 PM

The Saints were a wealthy corporation, and what once started as a mere street gang in the Midwestern United States was now a global company with many assets and employees. Operating in all markets, whether they be legitimate markets, gray markets, or black markets, the Saints raked in hundreds of millions of dollars. But that was not good enough for The Boss, she wanted the Saints to have the power of a sovereign nation and would go to any lengths to get it.

Now, she was in Japan, negotiating with both the massive Zaibatsu firms and the shady Yakuza tribes. However, the Saints' street and underworld presence was limited in Japan, and so they needed to make a statement to the groups that opposed the Saints, whether it be rival yakuza gangs, the police, or even the JGSDF.

Now, the tall, purple-haired woman, clad in her trademark black longcoat and purple shades and shirt, stood with her homies, hidden behind some crates, ready to attack a gang of rival Yakuza gangsters across the street, dining at a local restaurant on the outdoor pattio.

Guns ready, she gave the order.

"Now!"

Pouncing out, the Saints began to fire indiscriminately, killing the gangsters and a few civilians in the crossfire. The loud "BANG! BANG!" of their pistols rang out in the streets of Tokyo, as did the blood spurting and screaming of both the gangsters who were targeted and random bystanders.

Running off from the scene, the Boss screamed "THIRD STREET FOR LIFE!!!" as she snuck away, her homies right behind her.

Quickly dialing up her phone, The Boss called her trusted homie Pierce.

"Yo, Pierce, we just took out some Yakuza chumps, and pretty soon the cops will be onto us! Get us a ride back to our hideout!"

The voice on the other line said "Alright, meet me at the rooftops near the Tokyo Tower, I'll have a chopper waiting for you."

Soon, The Boss kept running, but she could hear sirens in the distance, slowly getting closer and louder.

Accelerator — Academy City, Vetustas

Accelerator sighed. "Yoshikawa... get your own fucking groceries next time. Honestly, what a fucking pain..."

The bag jumbled and jangled at his side, filled with a variety of day to day necessities. A wide variety of them. Cooking became a lot more complicated when you were expected to look after two persnickety clones. When Last Order wanted noodles, WORST wanted cheeseburgers. When WORST wanted Thai food, Last Order wanted Italian. It drove Yoshikawa, their official caretaker, up the wall. And Accelerator too, considering he'd been nominated official grocery boy. Number 1 in Academy City reduced to this...

He stopped himself there. This life was better. It was a life in the light, even if it was a finger at a time. If he had to be the bag boy's bitch, then that's what it took.

Speaking of the bag boy's bitch, the bags decided halfway home would be a good time to stretch to the breaking point, spilling all their groceries onto the street. Accelerator grit his teeth. "YOSHIKAWAAAAA!"

Emiya Shirou, Fuyuki City, Iam

Emiya Shirou had started that day like any other. He woke up in his toolshed, six o'clock sharp, like always. Greeted Sakura at the door, like always (even though he'd told her before she could just open it with the key he gave her). And then they'd cooked breakfast for the three of them (Sakura, himself, and of course, Fuji-nee, whose appetite lived up to her nickname). All in all, it appeared to be just another normal day.

"I'll see you later for dinner, Sakura!" he said, waving her goodbye as she headed off to archery club. He sighed. Just another lovely, peaceful day.

Then a dog came up to him, dressed up in a particularly fancy collar, and holding a letter... and a knife?!

"What the hell..." Shirou muttered as he reached down to try and pull the knife out of the dog's mouth. Honestly, what kind of irresponsible, cruel owner put a knife in their dog's mouth. Poor thing could've hurt itself trying to swallow it, thinking it was food.

Prying the knife out of its mouth, he got a closer look at its collar. "Tamaki?"

The paper it'd been holding fell out of its mouth. It was a letter... addressed to him.

And then, out of nowhere, a magic circle appeared beneath his feet, inscribed in runes he'd never seen before.

"Wait wait what?!" he cried in a panic, trying to figure out why someone wanted him dead, and how he was going to escape this situation. But before he knew it, he was swallowed by the circle and away he goes...

Nanoha Takamachi, Academy City — Vetustas

The small girl who had enough fire power to destroy an entire city, maybe the moon, trotted around on the sidewalk on her way to the grocery store. The brunette skipped along, her two friends nowhere to be seen. "Hm hm hm..." Nanoha stopped the moment she saw Accelerator. Wait, the guy dropped his bags? He must have been pretty clumsy, or the bags were too weak to hold what was inside. Either way, that's no good. "Let me help you!" the young girl walked over and immediately started picking the stuff up off of the ground little by little.

"Oh, my name's Nanoha!" now the thought of introducing herself came up. "What's your name?" by then her arms were filled to the brim with fallen goods.

Mopey Midget and Pink Bitch — Summoning Circle, Flonyard — Memoria

"Ahhh!" Millhiore clapped her hands together as the summoning ritual had been completed. Tatsumaki leaped out from the pink light as the princess kneeled down to pet the dog that did a job well done. "Thank you, Tatsumaki! Hehehe." she giggled and continued petting in praise.

The Hero, Emiya Shirou, now stood there in the center of the Summon Circle.

"Uh..." Angela had followed Millhiore up the steps due to the fact she was curious about the summoning ritual. "Well that explains it, you're a Catalyst too." she sighed inwardly, placing a hand on her nose. She clenched the bridge of it with two fingers. "Ahahah... more and more."

"Angela-san, I thought you were waiting below." Millhi said, tilting her head to the side.

"I got bored, and curious. Sue me."

"I can do that."

"... Please don't."

The two had idle-banter as if they've known each other for a while, but in truth they've only known each other for four days. Those circumstances, however, were yet to be revealed.

Battlecruiser Cognac, Hours later

The frantic activity in the hangar has finally subsided, the tasks bestowed upon the crew finally finished. The Ambassador looks at the finished work and nods contentedly at what he beheld.

"Perfect and with 30 minutes to spare. You people all deserve a break for your hard work!"

"You heard him boys! Dismissed!"

As the crewmen settle down, the Ambassador once again admires the refurbished and repainted Viking fighters, which were just hours ago would be mistaken for junkyard wrecks due to the amount of scratches and burns on the fuselage. But the one that garnered his attention the most was the Dropshiphe is to ride in, which has been given a very snazzy and regal white and red paintjob by the surprisingly artistic hangar crew along with all the luxuries befitting someone of his standing.

"Who knew they'd be so good at bodywork? Perhaps I can one day have them do work on my Hellion..."

Volkov once again ponders about his dream... For all of two seconds before going back to his duty by following his charge around like some sort of corporeal shadow, which undoubtedly caused Mr. Ambassador to be a wee bit uncomfortable. With a simple gesture, told his bodyguard to keep some distance from his person.

Accelerator

"Eh?" Accelerator said, noticing the runt at his side. Not that that was anything unusual. Sone days he almost thought he was a wayward orphan magnet...

"It's none of your business, kid. I can handle this on my own." Even though it was clearly apparent he couldn't. Level 5 or no, vector-manipulation just couldn't help you pick up groceries.

Amitie and Yuri - Vetustas

After getting reawakened and stopped from causing the world harm, Yuri had been working nonstop to improve the betterment of Vetustas and it's inhabitants. But today, she had been encouraged by her "family" to take a break from the burdens she placed on herself. Amitie had offered to take her to town to do whatever they liked.

So here they were, walking out an ice cream shop, each with a cone in hand. By all appearances, they seemed more like sisters out for a stroll than anything else. No one would guess such a tiny girl (tinier than most her age) held such great power.

"Ah, Amita-san," Yuri spoke up to the taller girl after a moment, "Where are we going next?"

Amitie took a big bite of her ice cream, shivering at the sudden coldness in her mouth and going down her throat, "Eh? That depends on where you want to go Yuri-chan. Today is your day." She added with a wink.

"Mm... I'm not sure," The younger girl hesitated, looking down with a solemn expression, "I don't really know places you can go to for fun... I've been in that book for so long."

Suddenly, Amitie gave her a hard pat on the back that nearly made her drop her ice cream, "Don't worry about it! Onee-chan here will show you all the best places! We're gonna make up for that lost time ten fold. No wait, with our guts and determination... make that 100 fold!!"

Cecily - Memoria

In a secluded cabin not too far from where the summoning had taken place, a red haired woman stood outside in simple trousers and a tunic. She steadily swung a blade, repeating the motion over and over. Her muscles contracted with each swing and her body growing accustomed to this new and odd way to use her sword. Nearby, a taller woman sat at a wooden table drinking tea as she watched her Master and friend train.

No one knew why Cecily had chosen to move to this secluded area to continue her training. Though Aria had a feeling it was to get away from a certain distracting Blacksmith. Her Master had always been so obvious about her crush.

The demon weapon was distracted from her musing as a bright light shown in the far distance before disappearing again.

"Aria, did you see that?" Cecily immediately stopped her exercises, tightening her grip on the sword.

Aria nodded, "Yes, should we go investigate?"

"I'm not sure, it could be just nothing..." The red head mulled over this for a moment, sheathing her blade, "I guess it won't hurt to look, but it'll take too long to get there by foot. I'm gonna need to borrow power for a little bit."

"Alright," Aria agreed, quickly chanting the words to turn her into a sword for Cecily to use. Once the demon sword was firmly in her grip, Cecily called upon the wind to shoot herself forward at high speeds.

Firo - Iam

Firo leaned back in his booth, taking a sip of hot coffee, tasting the bitter drink on his tongue. Once again he had failed to find a steady job. Well his boss this time had been a real piece of work. The pushy kind of guy who thought you got respect through fear. Maybe that would work for the other chumps at the factory, but Firo had no reason to fear anything. Especially not some loud mouth boss who's breathe smelled of tobacco and three day old fish. It had probably been a bad idea to mention it to his face.

Oh well, he lost another job. He still had more than enough savings from years of living. He really didn't even need to get a job, he was just enchanted by the idea of normalcy. In any case, he'll need to start looking for another one. Maybe a career in overseas fishing this time, that was something he hadn't tried yet.

Obi-Wan, aboard the Integrity, Venator class Star Destroyer, Galactic Republic Open Circle Fleet — Vetustas

Obi-Wan was as calm as ever as he made his way to the hangar. Things had been relatively quiet on all fronts recently, and although he didn't know why it made for a welcome reprieve. The Jedi Master scarcely got a chance to catch his breath, something not helped by his apprentice. Anakin could be... difficult, sometimes, but Obi-Wan knew that the young man had only the best intentions at heart.

His mind refocused on the present as he recalled what he was here for. It was a normal sweep, just to ensure that nobody was sneaking up on the Republic while its' attention was elsewhere. Of course, it also provided a handy opportunity to get a better grasp of just what was going on.

Entering the hangar bay, Obi-Wan was assaulted by a wall of noise. Clones and crew scurried to and fro, sometimes with a droid tagging along or hauling a piece of equipment. Everyone was so caught up in their tasks, however, that they didn't notice the High Jedi General making a bee-line directly toward his Eta-2, which was painted grey with dull red accents. The Open Circle Fleet's insignia - a yellow circle mostly enclosed by two red lines - was painted proudly on the right hand side of the ship.

Upon spotting him, R4-P17, his trusty astromech droid, tweeted a greeting. She was currently socketed inside the Eta-2, having been prepared for Kenobi's arrival earlier.

"It's good to see you, Arfour," said Obi-Wan as he hopped on to the interceptor's stubby wing and clambered inside. Arfour replied in the affirmative, already powering up the starfighter's systems and closing the canopy as the Jedi Master settled in. The droid burbled a query. "We're just going to take a look around, that's all."

Having received the appropriate clearances, the starfighter jetted into the cold blackness of space, its' distinctive howl echoing through the hangar bay as it went. The Eta-2 was sprightly and fast, and although it was a joy to fly it didn't change Obi-Wan's opinion that it should just be left to the droids. Taking in the view of the rapidly receding capital ships that made up the fleet, Obi-Wan pulled the ship into a tight turn.

James Bond - London, Iam

James bent over the sink, splashing ice cold water on his face in an attempt to shift the last vestiges of his tiredness away. He had had another of those dreams again. Not the ones involving Vesper, but rather those that were the product of long nights without rest and perhaps a little too much alcohol. It was rather blurred and incorporeal; all he could remember was something involving guns and women, complete with mind bending designs that looked as though they came straight from an art student's work. And towers, which was an entirely new one to him. He could deal with the former two elements, but something about the towers bothered him.

He wondered what M would want him to get up to, and where he'd end up this time. Even though she was less than impressed with some of Bond's actions (the embassy incident came to mind), he was still one of her best agents, if not the best - and both sides of the equation recognised that. Admittedly, she hadn't contacted him yet, but he doubted the momentary peace would last. He still had to go to the SIS headquarters either way.

James wandered out of the bathroom and put on a suit. Adjusting his clothing, he reflected on the person he had seen in the mirror. Outwardly, he didn't look any differently, but on the inside recent events had changed him. The loss of Vesper was still raw, even after he had dealt with Quantum. He knew that it would dull with time; it always did. But until then, he'd just have to go day by day.

Outside he could hear the quiet roar of early morning traffic. He felt at once disconnected and in the midst of it. That seemed to sum up his situation perfectly. Checking his watch, James noted that there was still some time before he had to leave. Flopping down on the couch, he decided to watch the news; he didn't often have time to watch television, but when he did he almost invariably watched news programmes. They provided a helpful overview of the global situation, and occasionally he was lucky enough to find that they accidentally predicted what he'd have to deal with next.

Right now it was just some chatter about sporting events. Hardly earth shattering, but it provided a reprieve from his usual work. And so James Bond, holder of the coveted 007 status, allowed himself to be human, if only for an hour or two.

Nanoha

"I'm just trying to help." Nanoha said with a smile. Wow, she completely and utterly ignored the hostility that Accelerator gave off. Well, maybe it wasn't hostility, maybe he was just trying to vector Nanoha's love.

Millhiore and Angela

"Ah, it's the Hero!" Millhiore said as she clapped her hands together. "Welcome, welcome!" she was so excited, it was a dream come true for her. The hero that she sought out, longed for, and finally summoned. The boy called Emiya Shirou. "S..Shirou, right?" Millhiore's tail wagged as she approached the superhero (or soon-to-be, rather).

"A Hhhhhh.. looks like a failure." Angela immediately dismissed the boy, the human boy, as a failure. Afterward, she pulled her ax up and hoised it over her shoulder for easy carrying. "So are we ready to go yet?"

Millhi looked back to Angela, then to Shirou. "Come with me, Hero, I'll explain everything!"

Mikoto Misaka — Vetustas

"Tch.. idiot." Mikoto muttered to herself as she walked down the streets. Her attention elsewhere, she just walked... and walked and walked without any sense of direction. Her hands were on the top of her head, her eyes were blank in wonder.

And before she knew it, she... ran into Yuri.

Yukikaze — Memoria

The small fox ran ahead of the ninja, the light glowing on its neck. It signified the awakening of a demon, or rather the presence. Where was it? Yukikaze and Brioche had just come back, and Brioche had business at the castle so Yukikaze pulled away to take care of this. Talk about frustrating!

Then, the fox god ran out into the open, stopping in her tracks. "There's a demon around here, vacate the..." her ears drooped down.

Well, that was anticlimactic.

Black Star and Tsubaki - Memorium

"I don't know, Tsubaki. This mission seems to be a total bust," a blue haired boy said grumpily, while laying down on the branch of a tall tree.

"Now, now, Black Star. We should keep looking, see if we can find the monster that's supposed to be out here. There's a good chance it's a Kishin Egg!" the black haired woman said, keeping her face cheerful.

"This is so boring. Boring jobs that involve tracking things down should be left to Maka. She's totally into this kind of mission. We should just head back to the DWMA," Black Star clearly wasn't interested, and Tsubaki just kind of sweat dropped at that last suggestion.

But then the two of them noticed someone talking. They turned to look at who it was, and saw an odd fox girl. They kind of just stared at her dumbfounded for a moment, still out of sight so she wasn't likely to notice them yet.

Accelerator, Vetustas

Accelerator frowned. "Yeah. Well, I don't need it. Get lost." He waited. She didn't go anywhere. He waited some more. Still there.

He sighed. "Fine. Whatever. Do what you want." He picked up another can. Fucking kids. He swore to God that if he got another tag-along out of this, he was going to skin a bitch.

Emiya Shirou, Memoria

Shirou couldn't do anything but babble incoherently as he was led gently along by the princess.

Okay, sorting through information here. Dog people. Not unusual, most familiars kept some traits of the animal bodies used to make them. Yeah. Mysterious magic circle which had somehow taken him somewhere else. True Magic. Weird, but possible. Magic-looking fantasy land where islands float and the sky is purple? Uhhhh...

Put it all together and it all made absolutely no sense anyway, so fuck it all if he was going to waste anymore brainpower trying to figure it out. Babbling incoherently in hopes of an answer was probably his best bet at this point.

Cecily - Memoria

The moment the fox girl arrived, Cecily had lost her concentration, distracting her enough that she didn't notice the tree in her path. It was suffice to say that slamming head first into a tree was not a pleasant experience for her.

She stepped back, her movements wobbly and disoriented before falling back and landing on the ground with a light 'omph'. The sword in her hand instantly glowed and turned back into a woman, Aria's brow creased in worry as she looked over her master, "Cecily? Are you okay? How many fingers am I holding up?"

"Twenty... four?"

Aria looked at the two raised fingers. Yeah that wasn't good. She hoped Cecily didn't have a concussion.

Amitie and Yuri - Vetustas

Being the smaller of the two in the collision course, Yuri had been the one to fall, her ice cream meeting an untimely fate on her shirt and pants. Amitie had went to her quickly and like the big sister figure she was, helped the small girl up, "Are you okay, Yuri-chan?"

Yuri nodded, "I'm fine Amita-san, but I might need to get a change of clothes." She said indicating the noticeable stains the ice cream had left. She then remembered herself and turned to Mikoto, "Oh, I'm sorry about bumping into you. I should have been paying more attention to where I was going."

Nanoha — Academy City, With Accelerator — Vetustas

"Everyone needs a bit of help now and again." Nanoha smiled before letting out a small giggle. Before long, she frowned, looking up to the white-haired boy. "Really? Alright then. I'll help carry these to your house." she already invited herself in on Accelerator's little trip home. Ah, today was going to be such an excellent day! Helping out someone, it gave her a good feeling. Like she'd be making a difference.

Mikoto Misaka — With Yuri & Amitie, Academy City — Vetustas

"N-no, it's my bad, I wasn't watching where I was going!" Mikoto's face flushed red. She really was sorry for bumping into them. It was her fault, after all. Ah, how could she make it up to them? "Uh... well..." Mikoto looked nearby, and her dorm was just down the street. Maybe she could get her a change of clothes? "It.. might be a big fit, but... I could give you a change of clothes, as a.. you know, apology. It's my fault, anyway." Mikoto said, faint smile forming on her face.

"Oh, right, I'm Mikoto Misaka. What are your names? I don't think I've seen you two around before."

Yukikaze — Feeling Pretty Damn Awkward — Memoria

"Uh..." the fox girl smiled nervously, looking straight at Cecily and Aria. She didn't know that Black Star and Tsubaki were staring at her from a distance. Her tail drooped down, as did her ears. "I.. thought there was a demon around here, causing some trouble... but I guess not." the blonde frowned. Well, that made her look like an idiot... but there was still a demon around here.

I heard of harmless demons... so maybe that's the case? Ahhh... do frustrating.

A deep sigh. "You're... a demon, right?" Yukikaze brought her hand up, pointing to Aria. That's where the signal had been coming from, but she still had to confirm. "Sorry... about intruding.. hehe... but I have to know..." this just kept getting worse as time went by!

"Wait, is she okay!?" NOW YUKIKAZE REALIZED CECILY'S INJURY.

Millhiore and Angela — Summoning Circle, Memoria

Millhi lead Shirou along, explaing all of the rules to the Wars in Flonyard, how they were fought, what kind of magic they used, how it was used. "Uh, Shirou, are you listening?" Millhiore felt as if she had been left in the dust by Shirou's rambling. "Hero?" she waved a hand in front of the boy's face.

Angel just snickered at the little display the two were giving her. It was quite the show.

Anyway, the three were nearing the Senkuru used to get to the Summoning Platform.

Black Star and Tsubaki - Memorium

"Whoa, someone just ran into our tree," Black Star said, looking down at them.

"Oh my, is she ok?" Tsubaki asked, covering her mouth with her hand.

"Anyone willing to slam their head into a tree must be pretty strong, heh," Black Star said confidently. However, Tsubaki didn't agree with that assessment of the situation.

She jumped down from the tree, landing near Cecily, "Um, are you alright?" she asked timidly, looking at Cecily's head.

Cecily - Memoria

"Yes... I am..." Aria narrowed her eyes slightly at Yukikaze. There had been many who have tried to kill Cecily and steal her from her. She was never gonna allow her friend to get hurt... well more hurt as long as she could do something about it. It wasn't until she heard a groan from Cecily that she turned her attention back to her.

The red head sat up slowly, clutching one hand to her head. "Ugh... I feel like I got hit by a bull..." She muttered. She then noticed the new faces around, asking if she was okay, "I'm fine. It'll take more than that to take out Cecily Campbell! .... oh I feel dizzy."

Yuri - Vetustas

"I'm Yuri Eberwein and this is my... er caretaker-"

"Amitie Florian at your service," Amitie interrupted sticking out her hand towards Mikoto for a handshake. "Thank you for offering Yuri some clothes, today is her day off and it would have been a shame to take her all the way back home before I got to take her to any of the fun places I had planned."

"Oh yes, I really appreciate your kindness Mikoto-san, not many would have gone so far," Yuri added with a small smile.

Yukikaze — Memoria

"I didn't really know that you weren't an evil demon." she scratched the back of her head nervously. Well, it was true, the way the fox near Yukikaze sensed demons was through the orb on its neck. It didn't distinguish from good or evil, which was kind of a problem. "Ah, wait, sit down!" Yukikaze rushed forward to place her hands on Cecily's shoulder. The Land Goddess helped Cecily to the ground to sit, even if she didn't want to.

"Do you need anything? Ah, I'm so sorry!" and then Yukikaze blamed herself for this. Oi.

Mikoto Misaka — With Yuri and Amitie — Vetustas

"Yuri and Amitie, nice to meet you." Mikoto returned Amitie's handshake with one of her own, a smile too, for good measure! "Wait, day off? Are you part of JUDGEMENT? I haven't... seen you two around at all." the girl was at a loss, really. No information meant confusion, confusion meant frustration. "Ahh.. never mind, I'm probably just taking shots in the dark here."

Not many would have gone so far.

"You..." she muttered to herself.

Is that idiot rubbing off on me? No, no, that's ridiculous... is it? YEAH, it is.

"A-anyway, come on, I'll lead you two to my dorm." Mikoto took the lead, walking down the sidewalk and opening up the doors to the all girl's dorms, where she lived, of course.

Vestutas, outer space

As the Cognac neared the solar system space, the battlecruiser suddenly came to a halt; as if waiting for something to arrive.

Running out of creativity here, can someone please send in a ship to hail and meet the Cognac before I get even more pretentious and boring?

Obi-Wan, somewhere in space — Vetustas

Obi-Wan stared hard at his sensors. Nothing at all so far, not even a whisper. To be fair, that was expected. Not much happened on the rim of Republic space, at least that much he knew. It all felt like a little of a wild nerf chase. He could have been doing something more useful, and the Jedi Master didn't like the idea of leaving Anakin unattended for too long. He was a grown man, yes, and a dear friend, but Skywalker was impulsive at times and needed Obi-Wan's counsel to do his best.

"Arfour," began Obi-Wan. The astromech droid beeped in response. "Are you sure we didn't miss anything?"

The reply was as immediate as it was disheartening: no, they had not. Of course, they hadn't finished flying all their waypoints, but he certainly wasn't getting off to a good start. "Thank you, Arfour. Let me try something."

Slowly and cautiously, Obi-Wan expanded his Force awareness, letting himself slip into it as he tried to pick out anything the (admittedly limited) Eta-2's scanners could have missed.

Outer space, The Border of the Solar System

Obi-Wan was wrong, there was something out there in that inky blackness and it was actually quite close (In space terms) to his position; the reason why he couldn't see it was because said thing, the Cognac was quite outside of the Eta-2's sensor range. But, with the bigger, stronger yet more primitive sensor suite of the battlecruiser was easily able to discern the presence and location of the diminutive ship. Upon seeing it appear on the screen in front of him, a Bridge Bunny reports his finding to the Captain of the ship.

"Sir, a starfighter's just entered sensor range, it's pretty small though."

The grizzled, bearded captain of the Cognac strokes his bushy chin at the discovery before giving an order to his subordinate.

"IFF on the fighter?"

"Says here... 'Galactic Republic'. No idea who they are."

"Hmmmm... From what I've read, their territory's far from the Koprulu sector and the Solar system. Perhaps the thing could be an advance scout for an exploration fleet."

"Should we try hailing it?"

"No, just let it do it's mission; there's not much point butting into their affairs."

As Obi-Wan used the force to scan for anything, he would probably be able to detect a psychic signature, much like his but somehow being actively suppressed by artificial means.

Kino: Tokyo, Iam

Kino was in the city, looking around. As always, she planned to stay up to three days unless something extraordinary happened. This time, though, she had a hunch that there was something special about this place. It was only a suspicion, though.

Tokyo was developed. There were enough tall structures and urban systems installed. "A lot of people must live here," remarked Kino. She deduced that with the urban population, it must take a lot of police effort or there would be regular crimes and threats.

And surely enough, she heard some gunshots some distance away. Sounds of pistol shots. Some shouting following after.

"This city is dangerous," said Hermes, Kino's motorcycle and companion.

"Yeah," she replied. She normally doesn't speak a lot because she normally keeps much thoughts and emotions to herself. Instead, she calmly proceeds into action. They heard a voice of a woman yelling something.

Third street for life?

Soon, sirens were heard. "If we stay out here, we could find ourselves in some trouble," said Kino as she mentally kept up her guard. She dismounted from Hermes, and her hand instinctively reached for her handgun, checking to see it still there. She manually led her motorcycle as approached a building entrance in the street for safety.

Craft Lawrence, Memoria

The traveling merchant Craft Lawrence was pleasantly going to his destination, with his horse carriage as his transport. He was currently carrying some strange magical potions and other artifacts he got from an obscure town in Memoria. Though they were primarily for profit, he figured that they could be useful during the travels too.

He had nothing really planned right now other than to head to his next destination. Although, he was anticipating someone he knew to greet him soon...

Black Star and Tsubaki - Memoria

Tsubaki had almost forgotten about the Fox girl, being worried about Cecily. But nobody there seemed to have any ill will towards anyone else, so She just stood back while Yukikaze helped Cecily. She kept quiet as one helped the other down and tried to help her.

Black Star decided to take this moment to make his presence known, "HEY DOWN THERE! Aren't you forgetting someone important? The great BLACK STAR is here you know, and he's in an autograph giving sort of mood! You guys are pretty lucky, huh?" He smiled down at them while posing in the tree. Then there was a cracking sound, "Huh?" Black Star looked down at the branch he was standing on, before it finally gave way and he fell straight down, a couple feet away from where everyone else was.

"Black Star!" Tsubaki reached out a hand towards him, but he just put a hand up in the air, giving a thumbs up. This signaled he was fine and Tsubaki just shook her head.

Cecily - Memoria

"Ugh... who's the loud kid?" Cecily asked, half groaning. She definitely wasn't feeling well enough for loud kids. Especially ones with huge egos.

"I think he said his name was Black Star," Aria answered, looking over the the boy and girl, "I've never heard of such a strange name though."

"Yeah..." The head head added, unsure of what else to say. Instead she turned towards the fox, "I'm fine, you don't need to fuss over me."

Yuri - Vetustas

The two followed behind Mikoto, allowing her to lead the way. Amitie was a little on her right while Yuri was opposite her. "Judgement? I'm not familiar with that organization," Amitie had answered her question honestly, "Yuri and I live far out into the country side, it's a pretty deserted location. You could almost call it a wasteland, isn't that right Yuri?"

"Mn," Yuri affirmed is a small nod, "We're trying to put some life into the area. But I've been spending too much time exerting all my efforts in it. That's what Amita-san meant by me taking a break."

Yukikaze — With Cecily, Memoria

"Uh..." Yukikaze looked over to Black Star as he fell from the tree and the branch broke. A faint smile appeared on her face, and before long, she turned to look at Cecily. "Are you sure? It was my fault you got hurt!" Yukikaze stood up, her tail drooping down, down into the ground as her ears soon followed suit.

However, the fox goddess took Cecily's pain into consideration and sighed. "I'm still sorry..."

AND she still felt a bit bad about it.

Mikoto Misaka, Academy City — Vetustas

Mikoto lead the two up the stoop which lead to the entrance to the dorms. Another door open, she leads them up the stairs, and eventually into her room. It's small, has two beds and a screen-door which leads to a balcony that overlooks the street below. "Huh... Kuroko isn't here." Mikoto scratched her head, grumbling to herself. That was good but it still felt like an empty room.

"Oh, you two make yourselves at home. I'll look for something..." Mikoto opened up the drawrs by her bed and began to look through it. Well, she found something. She threw it at Yuri to try on.

"There you go, it's all I could get."

Holo — Memoria, Lawrence's Cart

Three, two, one, pop. The wolf goddess popped up from below the cover of Lawrence's cart as the wheels continued to squeak as the horses pulled the cart. "Ahhhhh, 'tis a great day, is it not?" Holo said, standing straight up in the back of the carriage after a well-deserved nap. The wolf hopped over the carriage, and onto her favorite seat, which was right beside Lawrence.

Plop, her rear goes. A deep, exaggerated sigh as the wolf leaned to the right, onto Lawrence's shoulder for some warmth (even though she just got up from a nap).

"Where are we headed to now, Lawrence? Surely 'tis not that Empire of Biscotti." Holo said with a rather bored expression. What could it be about that fun loving place she didn't like?
