You need 14 Overgoats, 1 Impossible Theorem, and 8 Fate...NiteBrite got it...and that person is quite a...dedicated player.
Unless you wish to spend real cash (best done if you can't get into Cave of the Nadir yet, just spam the 50 Fate option at Nadir gate), then grind...

If anyone gets the discarded face event on one of their captain's ships, I would like to know what the result is when you get your doctor to examine the crew.
The one time I've gotten the Raggedy Fellow event in Venderbight, I had a full ship, and couldn't take on more crew.

Sort of tempted to go the "Become Jack" route in the Jack case just out of sheer curiosity. lmao, I'm stuck on a couple stories because I'm deliberating on their paths.
The exceptional friend story is great! If you miss it this month it'll be available 3 months from now I believe.
I think becoming Jack is just fun. It won't ultimately change the ending, but it's whether or not you want the experience.

As in it becomes doublefatelocked I believe. I can't look it up right now b/c I'm using a tablet, but I think it's exceptional friendship + fate for a bundle.
Which is much better than what would've happened otherwise, with the stories disappearing forever at the end of the month. That was the original plan I believe. This way preserves the motivation to keep exceptional friendship going - and gives failbetter some much needed cashflow.

I am terribly sorry to ask but do any of you know a way to remove the rendezvous at watchmaker's hill storyline without having a pet remain in my inventory? I keep drawing opportunity cards related to it and it is quite irksome! Sorry to bother you all!

After you get your pet, there's an opportunity card that shows up sometimes that lets you give away your pet from the rendezvous, among other things. Otherwise, I'm not sure.

I did that last time but then I received the rendezvous again. Thank you very much for the suggestion though! I don't think I am ever going to be able to have my inventory as clean as I would like it to be though so perhaps I should just take one of the pets.
Once you get a pet I believe you get a card that gives you an opportunity for items.
...my strategy re: inventory is different. I only sell items that I can easily recoup. Idk I just never know when something's going to be useful.

Yeah, I just read today on TVT that you can now get Heptagoat...and lo and behold, its entry in the wiki appears!
It's insanely expensive tho. As in, getting Heptagoat is MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE FUCKING CIDER. (by around 3k and needing fate)
