Basically some people looked to the very worse of Tumblr and took very specific posts out of context that likely were made by very young teens or kids that are trying to figure shit out or socks made to represent their idea of what an SJW looks like. This practice got so bad a lot of those old posters that accidentally started some of this have deleted their accounts due to the sheer amount of hate they have gotten. Its rather sad and pathetic really as I pretty sure a portion of the alt-righters are also young idiotic teenagers trying to figure shit out yet they act like they are better than the original SJ Ws were.

I have never actually met anyone that resembled an SJW in real life and I seriously doubt the anti-SJW/alt-right folks have either as a lot of the time it sounds like they are just delving in fantasies. The closest I could possibly find was in my psychology class back in high school and that was one gal whom was just outspoken on some topics like Men's Rights groups which I don't blame her about as Men's Rights groups or support groups sadly always end up as absolute shitholes.

Yeah, I mean, those really pushy leftists are a thing, but they are few and far between plus, next to nobody is even actually listening to them. At worst they just let them have their way about an issue nobody else is passionate about.

The left from my observations tends to call out assholes amongst their ranks. The right on the other hand...well...

Nearly all people I've seen, that were at least close to standard "SJW" type, are crazy Yaoi or Yuri shippers. That's it. Shipping community are the only place i seen, where "both sides" are at least close to truth.

Yeah they aren't well liked in leftist circles from what I have seen as the really crazy ones pretty much treat LGBT couplings as fetishes which is all kinds of creepy.

I have seen the occasional Kill all men type on social media but its pretty uncommon and its really hard to tell over the internet if they actually are a lunatic that believes that or are just some alt-right sock meant to be the perfect strawman for alt-righters to point too.

One only has to type "sjw cringe" or "sjw owned" or "liberals owned" or anything along the lines in youtube search and you will get results after results.

So, so many youtube searches. In comparison there's fewer anti-sjw videos and it still forces sjw outrage videos in results. I swear if I type "sjw myths" I get results after results of Steven Crowder videos, the very first result being "#SJW Feminists Myths destroyed by Karen Straughan" (and on that note, there's Louder With Crowder .)

Amusingly, the fourth result is Captain Marvel Box Office Myths, which is about something else and better? Decent at least. It debunks how Captain Marvel movie was a box office bomb.

Sadly, you are right. I was actively looking for videos which address all the nonsense surrounding Captain Marvel, and there are only five to ten which actually do, as opposed to hundreds of videos pushing the "Captain Marvel will destroy the MCU" narrative. That was part of the reason why I wrote my own article about it.

Like I said, quantity over quality.

It's "obvious" bullshit...but it's a flood of bullshit. And everywhere the bullshit flows, bits of it are left behind.

It reminds me of something Will Smith said. "When I was a kid, I was an idiot... but I was an idiot in private." No one remembers all the stupid stuff he did as a teenager because it's not hiding in some dark corner of the internet, waiting to be dug up. His son Jaden is a perfect example; he's not racist or militant or anything like that, he's just faux-philisophical and clearly thinks he's smarter than he is. Which, again, is all kids, but now they're doing it where millions of people can see and remember.

Worth noting that most of the problem is actually older people posting stupid fake shit online.

It seems like younger people tend to be more savvy about social media and propaganda online.

isn't old people also the primary demographic of Fox News? i remember hearing about how it was most popular in the 50+ demographic, which would make them very misinformed when using the internet, since they're already eating up propaganda

Their average age is apparently 65 or older. Also mostly white. Probably not a huge surprise all things considered.

One of my old teachers back in high school consumed a lot of FOX media and was extremely conservative and in hindsight also pretty racist.

He also had really dumb, misinformed views like how he believed his generation (Boomers) had safer drugs and took less than our generation does which is not correct in anyway. Boomers took a shit ton of drugs, likely more than kids today, and they were not any more safer.

Especially when you consider that it's actually middle-aged people in the USA who seem to be getting hit really hard by the opioid crisis.

So older people are still taking more drugs than younger people.

Heck, I think younger people are even drinking less too. Enough that it's actually hurting alcohol companies' profits.

Admittedly the opioid crisis from my understanding is not quite the boomers fault in some cases. A lot of people whom have terrible accidents out of their control, or get a nasty disease, and basically end up with anything that gives them horrible pain tend to get prescriptions of heavy painkillers while in the hospital and have to use them so much they become addicted.

This tends to cause a downward spiral of addiction, starting by one case of bad luck such as being caught in a car accident and getting pain meds for it.

Boomer conservatives will never fucking address or bring up their fellows that end up going down this rabbit hole though. They'd sooner toss them to the wolves or ignore their very existence and god forbid if anyone younger experiences this shit.

It's not just opioids though. Recreational drug usage also seems to be rising among middle-aged people. More and more of them are getting into cannabis, for example.

I mean, am I wrong to say they're being so spiteful, so petty, they're willing to fuck it up for everyone after they kick the bucket?

I think part of it is, we have a lot of shit they didn't, and they're jealous of that, and resent us as a result.

I believe that thing about fake news sharing. Older people have a lower chance of being tech savvy and internet conscious, so they wouldn't be able ot recognize fake news as easily.

It's estimated that there will be twice as many seniors in America in the next several generations, so something must be done not just as internet rules but also lifestyles that actually support them.
