More importantly, the fact they decided to make a model for Crunch says to me that they're probably going to go for a Wrath of Cortex remake next.
They are vicarious creations i guess.
Also, Wrath of Cortex incoming? If Crunch is here there are bound to introduce him eventually.
Uni catOh, please no.
No Wrath of Cortex remake. Make something new next.
I'd like a WoC remake tbh. If they fixed the technical problems like the loading times it would be a lot better. Maybe they could add more traditional levels in between the vehicle levels... Kind of a hybrid between a new game and a remake? Would give them a chance to practice creating original levels before a whole original game.

I missed the part where that's my problem.I just see no value whatsoever in trying to remake Wrath of Cortex wholesake like they did with the original trilogy. The foundation of that game is broken. Maybe a loose reimagining that introduces Crunch with the same basic story could work well, but not a level-by-level remake. That would be practically begging for the series to stagnate and slide right back into irrelevance.
I'm pretty sure Crunch, Zem, and Zam are only in the game because they were adding the Nitro Kart characters.
That said, skip Wrath of Cortex and finally make Twinsanity as it should have been made.
This song needs more love.I don't think they should do any more remakes at all. They have a fresh start now, and they shouldn't waste it by just continuing to wallow in the past.
So Crunch should get a reimagined origin story is basically what you're saying?
The only thing broken about Wrath of Cortex is the boss structure and the power ups...
Other than that, is fair ball.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Likewise. I was under the impression that people's primary problem with WOC was thinking it was too similar mechanically to Warped, not that there was anything wrong with those mechanics themselves.
I remember playing it tons as a kid, and I don't recall there being anything broken about it.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I would probably buy a Wrath of Cortex expansion pack to the NST, but as the next lead entry in the Crash series, I don't think it'd be a good idea.
this place needs me here...
Wrath of Cortex and Nitro Kart, even if just barely and due to imitation, did GET Crash. Twinsanity? I keep hearing good things about it, and about its supposed potential, but, to me, it never felt like Crash.
Crunch? Just throw him in. If Crash can get a sister out of nowhere, getting his own Knuckles is fair game as well.
Limitation.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Only if Crunch raps about how he doesn't chuckle and how flexes his knuckles
Uni catIn fairness, Crash Twinsanity was supposed to have A LOT MORE stuff that got axed due to time constraints.
I wouldn't be against a remake if it meant getting that lost content...
My opinion for what I'd like them to do is:
>Original game first
>Twinsanity remake/re-imagining/revisit which they try to bring back as much of the lost content as possible
>Another original game
EDIT: Oh, and also Crunch! Yeah! I'm glad the devs didn't toss him into the never ending void of 'came out after Naughty Dog games'!

I do writing, feel free to check out my stories here! https://numbugwritingblog.tumblr.com/post/686233243868102656/numbugs-shared-heroic-uniI expect that in future games Crunch and Nina will both be brought back. They're the only characters post-Naughty Dog who left any kind of mark on the series.
Honestly, I'm still surprised that the first new characters they're adding to the game are Zam and Zem. I guess it's just because they're Oxide's minions, but still... I'd have thought the first character they'd be interested in adding other than Crunch would be N. Trance, a Vicarious Visions-created character people actually tend to like.
I think they could retcon Crunch as an N. Trance creation instead of Cortex.
Or is that too farfetched?
Uni catNina was my favourite in Twinsanity, having this quirky girl who never spoke a word was interesting, and Cortex treated her well in all their interactions and didn't even comment on her apparent muteness, complete with sick metal hands.
I'm... not going to talk about the other appearances of her.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I have half a word.
That weird grunting "huh?" noise Nina makes at literally the end of the game.
I do writing, feel free to check out my stories here! https://numbugwritingblog.tumblr.com/post/686233243868102656/numbugs-shared-heroic-uniI do hope Nina gets added to the CTR remake.
Cart customization and alternate costumes
At this point, you have to wonder if they're stealthily remaking all of Crash Nitro Kart as well as CTR as part of the package. It looks like they've imported all of the CNK characters as well as some of the tracks from that game.
Why are they bringing in Zem and Zam, of all characters?
