I'm with on Exe here, D&D tried working with Christian themes in the past before, there is a reason they stopped.

So, just to be sure, it's just calling the Goddess of Good 'The Almighty' and that's it, right?

Also the Adversary thing. "Satan" means "Adversary" in Hebrew.

The concepts are okay, just new names.

I still have issues with concepts like lust, and pride automatically meaning evil. If they get good counter parts then sure.

Hm... I could write a separate entry for them whereas they are not evil and are suffering unjustly at Guilt's hands.

The Gods of Temptations and their counterparts are among those Celestial Gods that they and their counterpart are so closely linked they may as well be siamese twins. The difference between one and the other is a slippery slope through which one must tread carefully. The worship of one can easily become the other and the torment placed upon their less ethical half by The Abominable can easily suck in the better half.

Rorygono the Righteous Rage

A male entity that concerns himself with fury called upon by those who wish to defend that which they hold dear. He is also called up for rage of revenge, which he sanctions but in this he bleeds over to his 'sister'. It also means he overlaps some with Exitus. In fact, Exitus's full name is Jiboghon Rorygono-Aezalantha Exitus, being that he is a child of rage.

Aezelantha From Whom Blood Flows

A female entity that concerns herself with mindless rage. She also sanctions focused fury and anger driven to benevolent ends, bleeding over into her brother.

Lust Ariis

Selenay the Lady Of The Night

A female entity concerned with shared pleasure. She sanctions serial seducing, leaving behind a long chain of pleased lovers and those who seek greater and greater pleasure but taken too far is when she bleeds over into her brother.

Haxxor the Nova That Violates The Night Sky

A male entity concerned with selfish pleasure. He sanctions those who draw pleasure from the pleasure of their partner, or at least think they do, and in that he bleeds over into his sister.

Greed Mama Baul

Scarage Who Counts Coins

A male entity concerned with pragmatism and enlightened self-interest. He not necessarily a good entity but he normally represents a net gain for 'good', as what benefits all benefits oneself and everyone else is a renewable resource. However, taken too far and it becomes exploitation that leads to ruin and in that he bleeds into his brother.

Roybenob That Devours Treasure

A male entity concerned with senseless greed and power grabbing. He sanctions those who recognize the good of all is good for you and in that he bleeds over into his brother.

The two have a child called The King's Resplendence that whispers into the ears of royal blood their entitlement and the responsibility/perks that entails.

Pride The Man Who Stands Tall At The Precipice Of Defeat (Presiip)

Lieben the Naked Lady

A female entity that encourages people to go forward without shame and is also concerned with such thing like patriotism, though their also exists a child entity for that. Shamelessness though can twist into arrogance and in that she bleeds into her sister.

Mikakikomono the Veiled Lady

A female entity concerned with extreme arrogance. It is through her though domain that some were ever able to gain the confidence they needed to overcome adversity and in this she bleeds into her sister.

Update: the repairman says the *whole* Cable wiring in my house needs to be replaced- this MAY or may not fix my net access (the problem could also be due to a voltage drop in the local area at night) but it has to be done anyway, it's just too old. The technician is coming tomorrow morning. I'm not waiting anymore, though- I'll do what I can during the day (though I also have work and other things to do.) First I need to catch up with all the stuff I haven't read yet. -_-

God: Creepy shit is creepy. Possibly a little too creepy. Still trying to figure out whether I want us to step into that sort of territory.

I feel if we don't step into that territory in our setting someone else will, and they wouldn't carry the same convictions as us. These are things that exist in our world and people will always want to explore them, the darker side of humanity.

Though I do think the concepts could be trimmed back bit already, we want to mark off the abyss not go swimming in it.

Darlian the Dancer

In part she is pride and she is greed, but she is also rage and lust, she is passion. She calls you to laugh and love and live. Live!

She is also pain, as to live and do is to invite it. Real physical pain, the pain of loss and suffering. To feel pain is to be alive and from the fires comes out stronger. She screams and it is good.

Amniel the Unbound

Darlian's darker sister. Darlian lives with few restraint and those restrains are the restraints of the dance, wild and chaotic but somehow in harmony with everything else, bounds that are more like the stunt wires that help stage dancers fly, more help then any hindrance.

To Amniel they are the heaviest chains which she has been ripped free from. She screams for you live and laugh and dance and murder. Darlian is passion, Amniel is impulse.
