IIRC, Cosmo does eventually get put on what is effectively fairy trial for all the crap he's done over the years, but that turned out to be a scheme by Mama Cosma.

Cosmo also had the Atlantis thing. He really should be rooming with Anti-Cosmo in prison, if you have two seconds to think about it.

I distinctly remember this show being how I learned how World War I started as a kid. I knew plenty about World War II because I was an avid Captain America fan, but little about WWI besides that part at the time.

Cosmo (as well as Wanda) were fired as fairy god parents in The Past and the Furious when they failed to stop Timmy from negatively tampering with time so they have been in trouble at least once for time travel.

Also, John Fountain revealed that he dislikes the twist in Timmy's Secret Wish. He also isn't a fan of Poof either.

He was a storyboard artist for the first three seasons of the show, and directed at least eight episodes in seasons two and three.

I'm gonna assume Fountain's not a fan of Sparky and Chloe either.

Can't they just use any other fairies besides Cosmo and Wanda? I get they were the main fairies of the old show, but I think it's time to have a new pair of fairies.

We’re getting a whole new godchild. We can’t go too different. We need that connection to the original show.

If people had more nostalgia for the latter half of the show, I could see a world in which this stars a grown up Poof instead.

Poof should show up, albeit with a new name. I’m not sure, but it sounds like he/they transitioned.

I wonder if at least season 6's events will be acknowledged in A New Wish. Considering how the reception to season 6 has warmed up in recent years and even Fairly Odder including a clip of Wishology in a montage (showing they aren't opposed to at least referencing season 6), there could be a chance of Poof getting at least a mention on where he is at this point.

I wonder how long it takes fairies to grow into adulthood.

So John F. Fountain (the series veteran mentioned earlier) tweeted that he hopes this show is still cynical because a big reason Timmy was funny was because he was selfish.

Why does the main character look like Frisk?

Because when you got a simple design attached to a famous work that’s what is gonna be in people’s minds forever.

I feel like where both the original show and the live action sitcom went wrong is that they feel like they have to contrast Timmy being an asshole with their character being altruistic and nice, because otherwise it'd come across as if they're just doing Timmy again.

How about this for a concept: Play the kids being miserable for drama. Like, when the parents are being neglectful to their kid, have it in a serious light to show just why exactly these kids need Fairy Godparents.

Thing is, it seems as though Hazel Wells isn't miserable.

I really don't want a repeat of the situation we've had with Chloe Carmichael in the original series, or Viv and Roy in Fairly Odder.

I think they can pull it off with depression and a lack of self confidence, as opposed to criminally negligent parents and a baby sitter who would have been imprisoned for what amounts to war crimes.

Seriously, the original show could get very mean spirited.
