Oh hey I forgot I was here. They also did a lot of changes to how damage is done so the game is supposedly much more fun to play? I'd be willing to give it another shot

I really ought to play this game again now that the first part of the story is up.

Unfortunate that they still only have the first episode up, though. Mind, given how long it took them to get that one up, I figured it would end up this way. Probably doesn't help that PvP seems to be their absolute main focus. Given that I fell out of that long ago, and I don't really want to relearn the game for a single episode, I'm waiting on the rest of the story to just binge it.

Does them Fighting Herd have a web series going on?

The most surprising thing for me about Shanty is the thick African/Carribean accent, and that she's voiced by something actually from their, I think.

So it’s been a whole year since Shanty’s reveal.

Surprised no one brought up Fighting is Magic’s ten year anniversary.

(Anyway, I gathered plenty of tropes for a recap page of the first chapter if anyone is willing to help.)

What does Pom's "DVRD" palette name mean? "Devoured"?

I guess so, since the equivalents: Velvet's is FRZN, "Frozen"; Oleander's is WRTCHD, "Wretched" and Arizona's equivalent is GRL:D, "Grilled". Not sure if the ":" is a Wiki typo.

New character revealed.

I do like the price on the Switch. I might pick it up a bit later on, but I have some more expensive stuff to keep in mind first. Looks pretty cool, though~

And they give an apology too: "Story mode was always very ambitious and we really, really wanted to implement it," while giving no word as to why they didn't.

No word, like, not even a "if we did a story mode, we'd have gone out of business"?

Hmm. Suspicious that they don't tell us why. Either there's crunch-associated horror stories behind the scenes or they're saving story mode for a Them's Fightin' Herds 2?

(Nah, the latter is too unlikely.)
