Nice episode 2. I'm liking we get a sense of conflict between Aruto and Fuwa with Fuwa somehow getting Aruto's jokes and the fact that the both of them being in the same Ground Zero event drastically affecting their perception of HumaGear. Not to mention that, since neither one of them knows who is each other in the suit, it drives the conflict a little more.

Looking forward to Yua next episode and why she hates them too. Though I assume they're all part of the same Daybreak event.

VP is totally gonna screw up Aruto at some point. It's just a matter of whether he feels remorseful about it or he torches the bridge and goes off the deep end.

Also, I just noticed the streaks in Izu's hair, which is a really nice touch.

Oh and Mamoru pre-hacked is totally dead. Pretty much said you can't return them to normal once corrupted. You can repair the shell but that data is totes beyond saving. It would give Aruto an additional reason to try to save and return their original personality. Though, unfortunately, it would mean that Izu would be targeted and force Aruto to go through that ordeal. Still too early to tell because this isn't a kind of series to handwave details like freaking Shirakura.

Well, just watched it today. What was Yua recording Fuwa for? Is it just my impression or was she expecting him to force his access to his device?

For Toku fans, Masato Kusaka/Kamen Rider Kaixa will be getting his own manga written by Toshiki Inoue himself and supervised by Kusaka's actor, Kouhei Murakami. It will be serialized in Dengeki Maoh starting this month

Well, toku is basically live action anime, so the transition is pretty easy.

Still, hopefully it'll involve a lot of punching Kusaka.

It's not transition that I'm worried about. futo tantei already proved how good toku manga can be, it helps that riku sanjou is a veteran manga writer before becoming a toku and anime writer. What I'm worried is that inoue's writing sucks. Swordgai and Gouraigan, some of his newest original works, was not good writing-wise. After kiva, generally, his writing quality has taken quite a nosedive. He's also currently writing the kuuga manga, which is, like I said before, not very good. And lets not forget he also penned the Faiz novel where kusaka raped Mari.

Shinichiro Shirakura confirms that Oma Zi-O is indeed a Kamen Rider.

Considering Zi-O's ending, it makes sense. He's a main Rider who is evil, but he wouldn't be your standard Evil Rider - that one was Another Zi-O.

Now, even if Decade has Oma Zi-O's power... The inverse is true, and both Milestone Riders tie. Unless you don't count the time warping abilities as part of Oma Zi-O's power as a Rider.

If Decade has Oma's cards, he could just turn Oma into a weapon.

Yua's "Its begun" is mighty suspicious.

According to a tweet by Izu's actress, starting from tomorrow's episode, zero one will finaly shows its OP sequence. Really glad about that, was afraid it's gonna turned out like ex-aid's second arc, with no opening for a few while

So just over 7 hours until we get the OP then.

OP is popping up. I like Over Quartzer more (but fuck if that's not a high bar to clear) but I think I like it more than Driver's OP at least.

Over quartzer didn't really impress me TBH, I like Be the one and excite better. I also like REALxEYEZ better, though in this case, it helps that i'm more a rock fan than pop fan, and with takanori and j of luna sea, you can't go wrong. The opening sequence is pretty cool that's one thing for sure. Much better than Zi-O's mediocre one. You can count on Yuya Takahashi to make sure his series got a well designed and stylish opening. Ex-Aid's op was also well designed and very stylish, easily among my favorites of the heisei opening sequences.

Izu sure does get notable attention in the opening, with her holding something ominously towards the camera at one point, shedding a small tear at another, and near the end holding out her hand towards Aruto, causing the rain to lift, and being amongst the main group of Kamen Riders before disappearing when they change forms. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

AIMS are secretly villains (probably)? BIG SHOCK!! In other news water is wet.

Good ep, I hope Biting Shark sees more use than most Kamen Rider "water" forms since they tend to note come up a lot.

Well, there is another faction planning their move. It's interesting to see how the satellites work to give equipment to Aruto.

The opening looks ominous at points. The payoff better be good.

So we're just ignoring the fact that Yua clearly knows that Aruto is Zero-One right?

(Watches Zero-One OP) kinda nice, though vaguely Power Rangers-esque (as in the repetition of the season's name). That long-haired HumaGear seems ominously flashback-y.

The one thing I'm really looking forward to, going by the opening, is seeing Horobi and Jin becoming Riders given that they have their own belts for it. Just need more data to utilize for themselves.

Loving this season. Finally get some conflict that was sorely missing in Zi-O because you have Hiden Intelligence, who provides the HumaGears and tech. But also ambiguous motives because they have a functional Ark as well as the Progrise Keys that does what in the future and supposedly missing since Daybreak. Not to mention there's a whole lot of mystery with Dead Grampa Hiden and what was he planning, especially with Izu as she's the center of it all. Aruto just happens to be the only guy so far without any vested interest in the conflict at the moment.

Then you have A.I.M.S. who wants to raise the Ark for who knows what (evil) stuff. Besides data considering whatever the hell was on that satellite holds the stuff they want.

And finally MetsubouJinrai.NET, who wants to bring forth the AI Revolution or something all while causing AI-related mayhem on the human populace for data. And it helps they're more interesting villains. Just missing an Escape to round them out.

The only thing I wouldn't mind being added is a good ol' game of hot potato with the Progrise keys with all three factions a la Core Medals but that's just me wanting OOO stuff.
