Espen is a Danish name, because that character is going to be from Vague Denmark (like Rose is from Vague France, Cymbeline from Vague England, and Etty from Vague Germany).
So, minor intuition mismatch - why should "grace" obviously remain at the bottom of a bowl?
If I had to guess, I would've guessed that "certainty" should always be first or last, and that "time" would be most likely to be last...
Bells (unenhanced, relative to their species, and except when flying) are extremely clumsy, so a grace blessing avoids being picked for Kiri like it's allergic to her.
I'm not sure what you're interpreting "certainty" and "time" to mean here. I actually considered having certainty as one of Kiri's birth blessings instead of clarity, but kappa talked me out of it. Bells have a way of settling on what they think and *parking* there, not so much unreceptive to arguments as they are in a state of I-wouldn't-have-parked-here-if-it-were-not-a-good-place-to-park. "Time", in canon, can mean either that something significant is about to happen, or refer to longevity.
I have found Troubled Waters online! If anyone wants it just PM me and I'll send it to you! It's in epub format. :) :)
Or I can share it with you on google drive.
Ohhh I also just found the second book two. Man I'm on a roll.

Can you send 'em to me? I have hard copies but it would be nice to have searchables, and kappa doesn't have them to refer to at all.
Do you have a gmail account?
Nevermind, I've found one in my emails. Also just sent you the link via PM.

You are welcome. Share the link if you want.

linkhyrule5@gmail.com would be an excellent place to send another copy. :P
And oh, I see. I was interpreting them as concepts of themselves, and forgot to think of them as blessings.
Done! Enjoy. :)
I actually have a folder full of ebooks, around thirty ish authors and adding new ones whenever I feel the need. Does anyone want access? I'd also be willing to find and add more books as requested.

You made me read elemental blessings :) currently on book 2. I am assuming pyrophyte is a kingfisher? Hope so. I like them. This bell is not lacking in potential romantic partners! I kind of hope she ends up with the local Voice :P (not likely I know :) Have sherlocks and jokers coexisted before?

There was a Joker and a Sherlock (and a Tony) in the AU Harry Potter/AQ universe.

oh that's right
I finally managed the courage to start reading and while it starts weird, things are starting to shake out already in interesting ways.
How hard it is RP and it is good to get unstuck in a character-specific writer's block?
"Here to welcome our new golden-eyed overlords," said Addy promptly.Pyrophyte is a new template you haven't seen before but who may be expected to appear more than once, PB Tom Mison.
Jokers and Sherlocks have coexisted in Fantasia, yes. Eve and Katie are also slated to have both, and it's possible although not guaranteed for Butterfly. Of Bells you haven't met yet, Lailah, East, Sierra, Clarity, Lorica, and Cayra are expected to have both Jokers and Sherlocks in their worlds.
I find RP very easy; I get stuck sometimes when there's no plot, but it usually doesn't take much to jostle me out of it.

http://asylums.insanejournal.com/hollahollapbs/1752.html this girl kinda looks like an Elspeth!
Oh wow, she so does. If I ever have an Elspeth lined up with a Karen David PB Bell for a mom I will tap her. (I know the actual ethnicities don't match up right, but I think she fits phenotypically.) *notes in spreadsheet* Thank for the find!
Yay! I'm glad you like her. I think it's the chin. Or maybe her smile... Or hair. Or all of those things combined that makes her look like an Elspeth.

So, laptop got wiped, backup's corrupted, rebuilding my Spreadsheet of Dhoom from scratch. Rereading time!
Was Mary supposed to be an Alice and it got changed? She's a precog named Mary Brandon. Also, is she the Dinah alt you mentioned?
Time for the noob questions? 1 - Why you must make me so hungry with so many cooking happening? 2 - Do all Bells have the coin powers? 3 - When that Luminosity fic about Gates was added?

"Here to welcome our new golden-eyed overlords," said Addy promptly. Both Mary and Lazarus were set up to have amusing... I'm gonna call them "cognates", with some Aurum people. This was before we decided to include other worlds in Effulgence at all. Mary is not the Dinah alt.
1. Because food is delicious.
2. Not at this time.
3. It was added a while ago but recently someone told me I'd forgotten to put a link up so I fixed it.
Has anyone else read Ana Mardoll's decontruction of Twilight? It's really interesting. And it isn't violantly anti-Twilight like most, the author is actually sympathetic towards it. Though I am only up to a section in the second chapter.
Here's the link: http://www.anamardoll.com/2011/02/twilight-twilight-deconstruction-index.html

I have a dislike of Ana Mardoll. She bit me when I made a comment on a post of hers about Buffy (the hyena episode). I've gotten some hits to Luminosity from links in comments on her Twilight posts, which is why I know she exists, but I prefer to avoid thinking about her because it's kind of enraging now and I don't think I can improve anything by interacting with her at all ever.
I don't like her posts very much either. They're certainly *interesting*, in the sense that they're readable prose with lots of fine-detail analysis, but I definitely wouldn't call her sympathetic to anything I've seen her talk about (admittedly I haven't read that many of her reviews, because see above). She seems like one of the most unsympathetic reviewers I've ever seen and I sort of hope she never reads anything I've written, given how badly that went when it was just a comment about Buffy.

Wow, yeah. I've just read her reply to you and wow, that was really... over the top and rude.
I'm regret mentioning her at all now. Sorry!

Huh! Andrew Garfield suprised me, but I had a look at a few pictures of him in Spiderman and now can see the Elspeth in him. :) Espen is a nice name.
Bianca Lawson is great tooo.
