Some more backstory this time, though the next episode preview promises even more. The biggest surprise this episode was WTF KOUSHIROU'S MARRIED though.

Wow was that a pointless fanservice scene.

Looks like we'll finally find out in the next episode who this "sensei" is.

new episode doesn't shock me... I know for a fact that in villages and secluded rural areas like that... events like that happen.... minus the supernatural stuff.

Definitely the best episode of the series so far. The massacre was beautifully done, a great mix of animation and music. Also does something count as a Morality Pet if its death is what pushes you over the edge?

the massacre is comparable to that of umineko's closed door murders... stunningly gory and artistic..

Edit: I just noticed.... this episode is making noise and everyone's now siding with Aki than Kyouhei.

Just caught up and... wow. I actually really liked the new episode. As you guys said the massacre scene was beautifully done, and it provides us with some new perspectives on the story.

I can see why Aki would be pissed at Kyohei, given that he got thrown into prison because of the guy, plus he just "ran away" from all of it; what I don't get is why Kyohei hates Aki so much, if he knows it wasn't Aki who killed the teacher.

Armchair psychoanalysis: Kyouhei is trying to repress his memory of that day, and Aki won't let him. That's a simple enough reason to add a personal edge to any animosity he feels towards him on account of him also being a juvenile mass murderer.

I'm really loving the music in this show. This episode is quite dark compared to the other episodes, but I suppose that's to be expected.

This weeks's episode had kinda wonky art, but then again it was also practically filler so meh. The only really interesting part about it was the next episode preview, which reminded me that holy shit Aki's been living with Kuuko this whole time. That's something I'd much rather have been watching than the little episode in Karakami village.

Adding a random Accidental Pervert scene in your dramatic moment does not make the drama easier to bear, it just kills the mood.

Tangled Relations is a fitting title for the episode, and an apt description of what's happening so far. Honestly, I'm having trouble with having to pin down the protagonists and antagonists in this story. So far, this show's a pretty unique find.

This episode seemed to be setting things up for the next few episodes more than anything. While I am not a fan of Love Triangles I did like the look on Hibino face when the new Saki turned up. I also found it the random maid costume Kuuko was wearing funny as well.

I was more looking at Kyohei's face and he looked SCARED SHITLESS.

That is true. Crazy girls with crushes on you turning up is never a good thing.
