I hate that websites think I want to watch a video just to learn mundane news. I'd rather just read it, which takes less time.
But how can they cram 30 seconds of advertising in a place where you can't miss it? Since they know we tune out the other stuff. I'm talking to you create space banner and today's top bargains on nexta.
I immediately thought of ABC News's website. In fact, all the ABC-branded sites are terrible about auto-players.
Newspapers are AWESOME. I can read the news, skim through easily to find what's interesting and/or important and then finish with the comics.
Newspapers are the best. And you can make hats out of them when you are done. Or drain bacon. Or wad them up and stick them in your shoes when your shoes are wet.
They mostly just wind up as packing material in my case.
