The merchant looked up to see a ghoul walk in and ask for a room. He was counting the caps he earned that day. Normally, he would have told the ghoul to go do something anatomically impossible, but he looked down and saw his pile of caps a bit smaller than he thought it should be.
"Rooms? Why yes, I also run an inn. And lucky for you, I still have a few available."

"Hey guys." He said. "I've got another bottle of the good stuff if anyone wants to share. The other room has one bed, while I see this one has two. I can sleep on the floor. If need be."
