Hwoarang probably benefitted the most from this game's engine in terms of looks.

I'm so so so glad he got backlash and other nerfs.

I would be extremely surprised if Asuka gets to do anything in the plot beyond trying to punch Lili into next week for being a toxic lesbian, especially with Jun making her return to the plot and having already showcased some supernatural powers.

I know Harada's said he'd think about taking cues from the anime, but I desperately hope Jun isn't one of them. The cast was handled really well for the most part, aside from Jun being an absolutely bland bitch who let Jin get bullied, gives pretty terrible advice, and just gets talked up as a wise badass, even by Heihachi, without earning any of it.

That... is not how I saw Jun at all.

Same. On the bullying thing, Jun simply beat up the bully's father when he complained when Jin resorted to self-defence.

I had some fun in the Soul Calibur VI character customizer and made a familiar face.

I wish Soul Calibur and Tekken would standardize some of the features and costume pieces for more options. If I could combine all the best features, it'd basically be Soul Calibur 6's customizer, but with the added hair options and color palette and sticker options for Tekken Tag 2. It's especially weird that both series have taken such a colossal step backwards in terms of options for hair customization. But some of us are used to it.

Whoa good job. I might have to start playing SC 6 again it had such a good character creator haha. Ohh and music was nice too since it had music from all the other games.

I've been playing Tekken 7 again thanks to my friend, I forgot how fun it can be. I'm not used to some of the dlc characters yet though since they weren't around when I used to play.

I'm trying to push the limits of what I can do without using mods. So far I've made 15 Darkstalkers characters, 9 Fire Emblem Three Houses characters, Shredder and all 4 Ninja Turtles, 3 ATLA characters, 2 Digimon, at least 4 JRPG characters, at least 4 other fighting game characters... I'm almost out of character slots.

Surprisingly, I used Asuka's shorts to make Pyra, and King's shoes to make Mythra, from Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Bryan Fury's trailer went up earlier than intended but there you go. It's been removed now so the actual trailer might drop before the Combo Breaker grand finals

I'm surprised he has a special fight intro against Paul. I know that the two of them fight in the opening cutscene to Tekken 6, but that's about it.

Also not enough hatchet kicks and orbitals. 0/10 trailer.

I find it hilarious that Brian just happens to have a minigun that he only whips out when he wins.

Doesn't matter if he still has Snake Edge.

Brian and Hwoarang both have their default looks take a lot of inspiration from how they looked back in Tekken 4.

Which is weird, that tends to be the most polarizing Tekken entry by far.

I wonder if King II will have his King I costume in Tekken 8.

Apparently, after Heihachi just dropped him out of nowhere, he realized that using Xiayou as bait was a dick move and told her the truth. If she believes in Jin, then Claudio is gonna focus on taking down Kazuya.

so since the final fight of Tekken 7 was Shin Akuma vs Kazuya... Did Kazuya kill Akuma?

I expectee he'd show up since he was a bit player in the last game.

Also, that announcement trailer makes it look like they're gonna focus more on Lili than Asuka going forward. Dang. Maybe that has to do with Jun being back?

Claudio's a lot more Jojo, a lot more Quincy, and his DAH! is back.

We won't know for sure because it's up to Capcom on whether Gouki/Akuma can be used again. Ideally, don't use him again. Just invent a new character who's retroactively the one asked by Kazumi to eliminate Heihachi and Kazuya.
