It's befriendin' time! (In the Nanoha sense. Looks like Duane was going easy on Quigley in their previous fight.)
Not sure why Winalis looks so unhappy about it though. What's his master plan?
Although, it would be a surprising (if not entirely welcome) twist if Duane turns out to really be a constructed personality with fabricated memories. I've just realised that we don't seem to have any concrete evidence of his past life...oh, except for maybe some things about his encounter with Lady Ilganyag.
Whoops, Duane unknowingly twisting that knife.
How... oddly cheery.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.So the guy accepted the hit on him just so he could test raising him?
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Sounds like it. Someone should slap For Science! on his character page entry if it's not there already.
So, anyone got the odds for Duane kicking this guys ass at some point in the future? I'm thinking 100 to 1, For.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.Well, that kicks the notion of him being a good guy out the window. He's gonna remain a main character, though.
Also, caught up. Goddamn this comic is good.

...was Ashley being sarcastic when she says there's no evidence to suggest Shadwe is anything but a "wise leader and good person"?
(I mean, I could be being too cynical here, but it did seem like Duane called it correctly when he said Shadwe was considering the plague-spreading plan. Even if that plan may possibly have achieved useful results, it takes a certain degree of cynicism and coldness to consider it seriously without expressing any moral concerns.)
I about died laughing these EXPRESSIONS
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority. The art style for this comic is so great.

Three months!? We have to wait three months!
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Caught up. This comic never ceases to amaze me. I have no goddamn idea what's gonna happen, what the deal is with Ilganyag and Murkoph, and I love it. So much creativity and talent. Shame we gotta wait so long, but it's more than understandable.
Should've known that the ride wasn't over after the Deadly Nevergreen. Hopefully we can dial it down a bit for a while, though. Things have been going to hell nonstop for what feels like years.
And we're back! Warning, boobies.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.You know, when they said that the soldiers of Alderode had dragon/wyvern mounts, those things are far from what I was expecting.
So... I guess the queen isn't that bad, but she is surrounded by untrustworthy advisors.
Classic.

Or Politics are complex? I feel like this is going for more of a Politics are Complex vibe.
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.I bet that's the public image she wants to convey, at least for the unsavory stuff.
We don't know enough yet.
High tech, pseudo socialist, the queen seems alright but kinda disconnected, polyandrous as well. Interesting.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Another flashback! http://www.casualvillain.com/Unsounded/comic/ch12/ch12_13.html
I want to know what happened to Elka and Toma already.
The only thing that makes life possible is permanent, intolerable uncertainty: not knowing what comes next. - Ursula K. Le Guin- So the Queen's boytoy is a Copper Aldishman. Huhhhh.
- Her servants feel free to talk back to her in some measure.
- Title Drop!
- Toma's daughter?
- Action flashback! Man, I love the dialogue in this comic.
