Well, I finally watched it today.
Didn't like it. It was more sappy than story.
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.I wanna watch it but 20 dollars is really damn high. Is it worth it?
I discover my own destiny as I command the winds of life!If you're a massive fan who want closure, yes. Otherwise, no, I don't think so.

Ooh, they really have moved everything!
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Haven’t watched it yet, but it seems like something that would have benefitted from a larger budget and longer runtime.
Yeah, it needed to be a proper arc, really. Not as bad as Zero, but many similar issues.

Meh, Tucker becoming The Meta and Church still being there is... I mean, I like the Season 11 ending and Season 17's ending. I'll watch this but I'm not expecting anything game-changing. I mean, the game is literally over.
Did they bring back any of the old VA's?
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).They brought back Burnie to voice Church; and someone else, but telling more would be a spoiler.
If you mean Tex I'd be a little surprised.
Where do we even buy/pay $20 for this? The site's no longer active.

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).It's on Prime Video and, I think, also on iTunes.
Or you can watch it for free, alongside the rest of the show, on archive.org.
I watched it. I liked it and the season/movie works as a conclusion in my opinion, but I definitely wish that it was longer and had more of a budget. Good, but could have been better.
Wasn't planning on seeing it till later but ended up finding it online.
As expected, everything after season 13 was simulations from Church. This isn't kept very subtle given the 'retro con' segment at the start, being an obvious pun on 'retcon'.
As the trope page points out, it feels a bit more like a sequel to the freelancer saga then the Chorus Trilogy. It doesn't ignore Chorus outright, but it has much more connection to the events of that story. Complete with having new versions of the Meta and Sigma as it's main antagonists.
I overall think it's solid...it is flawed, and those flaws are likely do to the runtime being cut into a film rather then a final season as was originally intended. But I do think it's definitely worth a watch. It was clearly made with heart put into it.
They do give some hints, albeit not confirmation, that this is yet another simulation. This basically means that if you dislike the finale, you can just interpret it as another simulation and think up a better ending for the team.

The First manYeah, the simulation hints are quite strong, so people can do with it as they please. I did not like how some characters were handled. I did like how they handled Tex, however.

The First man
I'm really hoping they at least make them available to all, not just channel members.
