The TroperTrack World Cup. A racer's dream. 4 classes of competition, A,B,C,D. Drivers compete on and off the track for fame and glory.

Rules

This is based on RTD rules, but I've modified it. Since everyone is (allegedly) a professional racer, there will be 2 six-sided dice, to make epic failure a less frequent occurence. All examples are overtaking and Audi R8 on a left hand bend.

[1 or less]: Catastrophic failure. This will almost certainly total your car/bike.

• Example: You put your foot down, but the car oversteers, and in your overzealous correction, you spear off to the right, catching the curb and flying into the air over the sandtrap, into the crash barrier. When you wake up, you are surrounded by emergency personnel. Your race is over.

[2-3]: Epic Failure. This will put you at a significant disadvantage.

• Example: You put your foot down, but the car disagrees. You oversteer and find yourself in the gravel trap. You can get back started, but you're ripe to be overtaken.

[4-5]: Failure. Your position is unchanged.

• Example: You put your foot down, but the R8 stays firmly ahead.

[6-7]: Partial Success. Something is achieved, but not to a great degree.

• Example: You step on it, and although the Audi does it's best to hold you back, you are two abreast as you exit the corner.

[8-9]: Success. The action was achieved.

• Example: You gracefully and in perfect control take the R8 on the inside.

[10-11]: Total Success. The action was performed exceptionally, and puts the player at significant advantage.

• Example: You slip into a controlled powerslide, taking the R8 on the outside, sideways. As the crowd cheer you on, you shoot off into the distace, well ahead of the R8.

[12]: Hyper Failure. The action fails due to an over-application of effort.

• As you go to take the R8, you oversteer. As you correct this, you end up performing a full 360.

Car rules.

• We will use PGR car classes, down to D. You will have at least one car and/or motorbike for each class. Classes are:

• Class A- The fastest of the fast, the top of their class.
  • Example Cars: McLaren F1 LM, Ferrari FXX
  • Example Bikes: Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14, Suzuki Gixer GSX-R 1300 "Hayabusa"
• Class B- Just one step down from Class A, these vehicles are still beasts.
  • Example Cars: Maserati MC12, Ariel Atom Supercharged
  • Example Bikes: Ducati 998, Honda CBR600RR
• Class C- These look almost like ordinary cars. Looks can be deceptive.
  • Example Cars: Lotus Exige GT3, Ford GT.
  • Example Bikes: Triumph Speed Triple, MTT Turbine.
• Class D- These cars are either old, or not the fastest.
  • Example Cars: Ford GT-40 (MK1), Audi R8
  • Example Bikes: Ducati Paul Smart 1000, BMW F800.

Cars and bikes are given their own advantages and disadvantages by comitee, e.g. Ariel Atom (ultralight) gets +1 on acceleration and +1 on handling, but -1 on top-end speed and -1 on rough racing.

• Bio/Racing History: Dean, formerly a rally driver and motorcycle enthusiast, decided he wasn't quite insane enough for the dirt racing anymore, although he still loves the cars, and decided to go track. Dean is somewhat risky, and will take many risks and drive/ride aggresively to secure victory.
