Nathan bought his Pokemon a round of food, the new member Yanma sufficing on a bunch of berries as it munched on one on top of Nathan's head with satisfied hums, much larger dose than Sophia who did well with less. Nathan himself bought a simple sandwich. On his way out he sees a girl with her pokemon out, a human-sized red thing with wings and claws of magnum size. Concerning, given the place it was out in. Nathan walked over to it's owner.

Nathan: "Are you sure it's safe to have that big thing out here?"

Sophia: <You have us out, so what's the problem?> Sophia asked.

Yanma: <Perhaps you didn't notice the claws?> The Yanma sarcastically retorted.

Nico: -blinks- Yeah, I am... How did you know?

Garchomp: < OK, we just need to take them down and- >

Gilgamesh: <Sorry about this!>

-Slams into the Garchomp with Outrage-

Garchomp: <OW MY EVERYTHING> -collapses-

Flygon: < And isn't that Salamence- >

Gino: <I'm the top green Dragon around here, nyan!>

-Dragon Claws the Flygon-

Flygon: <OH ARCEUS IT BURNS> -also collapses-

Umbra & Lina: -toss Pokeballs-

Garchomp: -is sucked in-

Flygon: -is sucked in-

Umbra: ...What. ._.

Lina: It's like the universe wanted us to catch them... ._.

Mistralton, Grocery store

Human!Ammy: Oh? Don't worry, Sickle wouldn't hurt anyone!

Sickle: <He's just jealous because I'm awesome.>

Maggie: "You appeared on the last episode of the TV Show. You're a Psychic who used to bully people with his powers, but joined the team in an attempt to redeem yourself, right?"

Comet: <So, are we good?>

Treeo nodded.

Treeo: <Yeah, we're good, Comet. But when are you gonna' tell everyone else about this?>

He gestured a claw at the sleeping Pokémon nearby.

<You can't keep this a secret from them forever.>

Comet: <Well...we're gonna' have trouble moving through this world if I don't fess up about this, so I guess tomorrow?>

Treeo: <Yeah, that'll work. and I wouldn't worry about what they might think, Comet. If you just tell them what you told me, I'm sure they'll understand.>

Comet: <Yeah, yeah...you're probably right.>

Opening her mouth wide, Comet yawned loudly.

<Speaking of which, I'm tried. Let's hit the hay.>

Treeo: <Sounds good. I feel like I could just collapse any second right now.>

The two Pokémon proceeded to lie down next to each other, Comet taking extra care to make sure that her tail flame wouldn't burn Treeo in their sleep.

Comet: <Thanks for being so understanding, Treeo.>

Treeo: <It's no problem, Comet. Sleep well, okay?>

Comet: <Yeah...you too.>

And the two Pokémon soon drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

Because they were in a dream already and that would just be weird.

Mistralton Groceries

Nathan was not sure what to think of the Scizor's smug smirk. He decided to ignore it. Sophia approached it.

Sophia: <How do you handle things with those claws?>

The Yanma took off of Nate's head to inspect the Scizor, ignorant of the potentially annoying buzzing.

Yanma: <What's your name, cabron? Your ego reminds me of a friend of mine. He got incinerated for overconfidence. I bet you like fire, don't you?>

Sophia: <Hey, don't be so rude!>

Yanma: <It's done, no can do, sport!>

But that's all wrong! I was bullied because of my Psychic powers! I never bullied anyone in my life! See, that's why I'm not as big on the TV show, I prefer learning about the real deal!

-Umbra and Lina send out the Garchomp and Flygon-

Umbra: Now what to call you...

Garchomp: <We already have names. I'm Seishirou...>

Fuuma: <And I'm Fuuma.>

Lina: So you've had a trainer before?

Seishirou: <...Yes.>

Umbra: Hmm... Well, we won't pry. Welcome to the team.

Lina: Shouldn't we go and meet Tagg?

Umbra: Oh yes! Follow us, you two.

- They start to walk off-

Seishirou: < Mmph. First he helps humiliate me back home, and now he humiliates me here...> -follows-

Fuuma: < Hey, at least they don't know who we are this time!> -Also follows-

Lina: The Flygon... Somehow he reminds me of Spectrum... And... Famire...

Mistralton, near Nathan

Sickle: -grows a bit nervous- <Uh... fire is more Ammy's thing.> ._.

Human!Ammy: That's right! I love    burning    things!

Comet: <Alright, long story short...>

It would just be like ripping off a band-aid. Painful but quick, and Comet could cope with that.

<I'm wasn't born on Pokémon Island, I was born here. In the Dream World.>

Stratus: <Huh?!>

Woolly: <Then that means...>

Comet: <Yeah. I'm a Dream World Pokémon.>

The gathered Pokémon stared blankly for a few moments, blown away by this revelation.

Unite: <...This is a bit much for so early in the morning, isn't it? I'm still half-asleep here, and you're dropping bombshells on me!>

Stratus: <So you're not really from Pokémon Island?>

The Dragonite sniffled.

<But I thought we had something in common!>

Comet: <No, no! That part was true! I lived on Pokémon Island for a while, I just wasn't born there!>

Stratus: <But that isn't the same!>

Lake: <To be honest? I did kind of suspect there was something odd about you, Comet. This goes a long way towards explaining why. Still though, I think you being a Dream World Pokémon is pretty cool!>

Comet: <...Really?>

Lake: <Why wouldn't it be? Come on, you're literally the stuff dreams are made of!>

Comet: <...Gosh. I don't know what to say about that.>

Nathan: "Burning things? I never asked about incinerating stuff. Did you, Sophia? No, you're not the kind... Yanma! Wait, you understand him?"

Comet blinked at Bozaka, finding her suggestion...disturbing, to say the least.

<Stratus was right. She is creepy.>

Unite: <Wait, she's got a point. I don't suppose you have any Dream World powers that can help us get out of this mess, do you?>

Comet: <Hmm. Well in that case, you're luck to have me around.>

She grinned rather proudly.

<It just so happens that I'm one of the best Dreamweavers around.>

Treeo: <Dreamweaver? What's a Dreamweaver?>

Comet: <A Dreamweaver is a term used to describe any Pokémon who can manipulate the reality of the Dream World - otherwise known as Dreamweaving - to do just about anything.>

Woolly: <Anything?>

Comet: <Anything. That Pizza you ate last night? Made that through dreamweaving.>

Unite: <Ah-HA! I knew you couldn't have possibly have picked it up while we were in Mistalton, you crafty Dragon!>

Comet: <Hmph. Yay for you for noticing. Do you want a medal?>

Opening her claw, the Charizard conjured a gold medal out of thin air.

<By all means.>

Stratus: <WHOA! That was cool!>

Woolly: <Do it again! Do it again!>

Nathan: "How can you tell? How do you even understand it?"

Gorga: <Ooh! Make me a steak!>

She paused to toss the conjured medal away, which disappeared into a puff of Dream Mist.

<Besides, even if I did make all of that stuff, you wouldn't be able to take it out of the Dream World once we leave, and we're not gonna' stay here just so that you can mess around, got it?>

Treeo nodded in agreement.

Treeo: <She's right, we need to get back to our own world. Everyone's probably worried sick about us!>

Lake: <Hang on a minute, though!>

Everyone turned to Lake.

<I know we should be getting back to our own world, but considering that we were investigating the Dream Rifts, maybe it would be a good idea to take a look around while we're here and see if the cause is on this side?>

Unite: <Hey, that's a good point! Whoever - or whatever - is causing all of these rifts might just be working from here in the Dream World, and since it's not every day that we get to come here in the flesh...>

Nathan decided against delving deeper into this subject.

Nathan: "I'm guessing you're stocking up for the next town."

Yanma: <I think she's hiding something, the happiest senoritas always hide something behind their sugary demeanors!>

Sophia: <That's just crazy!>

Yanma: <Trust me on this. I've been with some real gents and they can't keep a poker face when talking of their youth!>

Sophia: <You've had boyfriends? Mates, I mean.>

Yanma: <A girl keeps her secrets!>

Gorga: <Let's hope it's something we can beat up.>

Bozaka: <For sure!> :3

Pudge: <Pudge want it be edible.>

-Herbert flinches as he is "hit" by the Faint Attack - only to look around curiously as he realises that he is not injured, but instead reinvigorated.-

Herbert: ~Huh. How did you find out that it could do that? I mean, without just going around and finding out by chance, you'd have to conduct some...~

-He trails off, then pauses.-

Herbert: ~Um, well, it was nice meeting you and all, but I'm sure you want this back now. Skye, Diane, did you have anything else planned for this trip?~

-Relic nods, and takes the Sparkle Ruff back-

Diane: <Well, it's been nice seeing you two again, but it's getting kinda late...>

Relic: <Right... I guess you'll be leaving to wherever again tomorrow.>

Skye: <That is correct, yes.>

Diane: <Come on, we can spend the night at my parents' house. See you two again sometime!>

-The group leaves Finder's Keep-

Diane's House — Still Yesterday

Diane's Mom: <Diane! Skye! It's great to see you two again.>

-She hugs the two lovebirds. Annie pops out of Diane's comb.-

Annie: <Hai~!>

Mom: <...And who is this?>

Skye: <Oh, that's Annie. She, um... kinda adopted us as her mothers.>

-Both Skye and Diane would be blushing if they could.-

Mom: <Aww, how sweet...>

Annie: -chirps-

Diane's Dad: -looks at Herbert- <And... who is this?>

Diane: <Oh, um, that's Herbert. He's from the... um, the world that happens to not be this one. The one we originally came from.>

Dad: <...I see.>

Nico: Wow... I just ran into a bunch of members in Black City and Driftveil, and here I am!

Unite: <More often than not, it's always something that we need to put in it's place.>

Comet: <Do we really need to investigate from this side, though?>

Lake: <Eh?>

Comet: <Well, nothing like this has ever happened here in the Dream World before. At least, not from what I can remember. It's more than likely that whoever's doing it is in our world, so we really should be heading back there as soon as possible, I reckon.>

Treeo couldn't help but notice that Comet didn't seem very enthusiastic about the prospect of staying in the Dream World for a while. The Sceptile imagined that it might have something to do with what she had told him the night before about whatever embarrassing thing she had done in the past. Most likely, she didn't want to risk the prospect of being recognized.

This was backed up by Comet turning to Treeo and miming for him to help back up her argument. Put on the spot, Treeo wasn't sure to side with her, or to agree with Lake. After all, the culprit could very well be on this side of things.

Unite: <I agree that we should take a look around while we're here, Comet. I'm surprised that you're so anxious to get back. Aren't you happy to be back home again?>

Comet: <You don't know the half of it...>

Treasure Town, Diane's House, PMD-A - Yesterday

-Herbert simply nods at Diane's parents, still too caught up in his own inner monologue to acknowledge them properly, and eventually falls asleep after several hours of lying curled up on the ground.-

-Herbert wakes up groggily the next morning, and rubs his temple with his claws.-

Herbert: ~Ugh... who would have thought that being a Psychic-type would lead to headaches in the morning? I need my coffee...~

-He looks over by his "bedside", only to find nothing there but a pile of straw.-

Herbert: ~Oh, right. Mon world. No coffee.~
