ITT: We are all Pokémon Trainers

- Is currently asleep, Ribbons stayed outside her pokeball and is still awake, looking at the stars -

Meanwhile, somewhere outside near the back of the hotel

- Latias returns carrying even more random items back from her search, including a vaccuum cleaner, a deck of cards, a hairbrush and a giant rock with an image of a Hydreigon dancing with a Clefable on it -

Latias: <I sure found a lot of nice things today, but still no amulet...> (yawns and puts up her illusion of her human form) Well, time to get some sleep and continue my search tomorrow...

Meanwhile, somewhere else

- Some wild Pokémon are discussing what they heard about a Latias searching for a lost Soul Dew -

Marill: <So, the Latias lost her Soul Dew, and wants it back?>

Venonat: <We believe that to be the case, but we're not 100% sure.>

Cherubi: <I hope she finds her lost treasure.>

Murkrow: <Hmm... Hey, you guys think there might be a reward in it for us if we can help her find it?>

The other Pokémon: <...!!!>

Marill: <A reward?>

Cherubi: <Oh my... What kind of reward do you think a legendary might give?>

Zigzagoon: (scratching behind his ear) <I don't know, but if it's from a legendary, it must be something good!>

- The wild Pokémon all begin excitedly talking amongst themselves, wondering what the reward might be -

Aqua: *slinks back into camp, looking down at the ground*

Rascal: <Oh, there you are, Aqua.> *goes over to her* <Minty was looking for you to bring you some food. Have you eaten?>

Aqua: <...I'm not really hungry, papa.> *slips past him, lying down on the opposite side of camp*

Rascal: <?> *follows* <Is something wrong?>

Aqua: <I don't want to talk about it...>

Rascal: <Aqua, I'm your father...you can talk to me about anything.>

Aqua: <...Later. I promise.>

Rascal: <...> *nods, though it is hesitantly* <Alright...>

Rex: *talking to Star's mons* ...and that's how I got Minty.

-wakes up-

-sees Salamence staring him in the face, and abruptly remembers his surroundings-

<AAAAAAHHHH!> -drills into the ground-

-is woken up by Every screaming-

<Every? You all right?>

<Yeah...fine...>

-dragged out of tunnel by Salamence, who then vanishes back to the real world-

<Okay, so how are we going to get to the airship?>

A few hours later

- Several wild Pokémon have now gathered at the beach, excitedly digging through the sand and in general searching for anything resembling a Soul Dew that may have washed up somewhere -

<I'm still thinking. Maybe we should climb up so we can get a better view?>

-points a paw at a nearby mountain-

Okay then.

-slithers towards the mountain-

~Later on~

Rex: *curled up asleep next to Lian*

Lian: *twitches in her sleep* <Ngggh...>

Laplace: *back inside his ball due to the unfavorable nature of the campsite*

Rascal: *asleep next to Aqua*

Aqua: *awake* <...> *gets up and runs towards the beach*

Minty: *comes back to camp; notices her leaving* <? ...Aqua?>

- Wakes up, noticing that Ribbons had fallen asleep in front of the window at some point during the night while watching the stars, and is resting her forehead on the window -

-follows alongside Every-

-slithers along towards the mountain-

I wonder what the odds are that something weird will attack us...

Aqua: *goes over to the shore and sighs* <...>

Minty: *having a hard time keeping up on his stubby legs* <Aqua, wait!>

Aqua: *can't hear him; jumps into the ocean and starts to swim away*

Minty: <!!!> *gets to the shore and calls loudly* <Aqua! AQUA!>

-a pair of hammer-wielding Darmanitan appear before Mezzo and Every-

<...Didn't we meet these guys back in that cave?>

<Yeah...and they're worse when you're smaller than they are...> -shrinks back-

-the two Darmanitan pound the ground with their hammers; Mezzo swipes at one with her yo-yo-

-attempts to Glare at one of the Darmanitan-

-one of the Darmanitan freezes; Mezzo takes out the other with the yo-yo-

<This thing is just as handy as that parasol.>

~A bit later~

Minty: *comes back to camp* <Guys guys, wake up! Aqua is gone!>

Rascal: *is up immediately* <What!?>

Rex: *gets up as well* <What!? What happened to her?>

Minty: <I...I dunno! She just got up and left! I tried to call to her, but she wouldn't listen! ...Is she mad at me about earlier?>

Rascal: <Earlier?>

~Minty recounts the tale~

Rascal: <...I see.> *sighs* <I should've known something like this would happen eventually...>

Rex: I can't believe I didn't notice that she was upset this whole time...

Spathi: <Of course you didn't.> *comes over* <You haven't really been paying attention to any of us lately, after all.>

Rex: *taken aback* What? What are you talking about?

Spathi: *scowls* <You know EXACTLY what I'm talking about.>

-starts hitting the Darmanitan with his tail-

-the Darmanitan falls to the ground-

<Huh. Guess they weren't as tough as they look. C'mon, let's keep going.>

<Weird.>

-follows Mezzo-

-a Whirlipede rolls by-

<Oh hey!>

-hops on top of it-

<C'mon, let's ride!> -is now wearing a biker helmet-

<Another Whirlipede?>

-curls up-

<Race you.>

Spathi: <Ever since we came to these stupid islands, you've done nothing but ignore us!>

Rex: That's not true! I talk to you guys all the time! And I feed you an-

Spathi: <Oh, sure, you make sure we're your well-fed and groomed pets, and you make an attempt at talking. But you NEVER pay attention to what we say.>

Rex: That's just sil-

Spathi: <Lian, when you lost that tournament, did Rex ever stop to tell you that you did a good job?>

Lian: <Uhh...>

Spathi: <And as I recall, she asked you if you would still like her if she was weak, right? What have you done since then aside from confine her in her ball?>

Rex: ...I...that...

Spathi: <And Minty, has Rex ever stopped to help you train or get stronger? Has he even paid attention to you since you joined?>

Minty: <B-but...>

Spathi: <And, of course, you said you would let me participate in a tournament the next chance we got.> *glares* <How was the tournament on Mikan, Rex?>
