Before he chuckled, tail wagging as he followed Stylus to the front gate.

His ear flicked at the Murkrow landing.

As Talbain followed behind Stylus, his form rippled for a moment before continuing.

Behind where the Murkrow landed, Talbain’s head poked up.

"Looks like we're playing another game," Kamui observed, lifting up the heavy jar before looking through it at where the elevator once was, unsure if that would reveal something invisible to her.

Daydre takes that as her winning the argument.

Daydre: "Heh."

Great job Daydre you won(?) an argument with a teenager/two year old(?).

Daydre: "... Wait what was the original point here?"

Neodymium: That being a truant is awful. See? You don't even remember every word we've spoken to each other.

Ever: Yeah, but how many arguments could you have back at the School that didn't end with someone getting liquidated?

Neodymium: None of them! That's the point! It cuts down on dissent!

Ever: I will let you in on a secret, tiny human—

Neodymium: I'm two inches shorter than you. I'm taller than her.

Ever: In functioning parts of the world, dissent is a positive thing.

Neodymium: Yeah, 'cause the world is so great.

Ever: ...I mean okay. But clearly you were sent here for a reason.

Neodymium: Yeah, it's like Superman getting sent to Earth to take over.

Ever: What version of Superman did they give you?

Stormchaser, Ever's Room

Daydre grumbles something about height changing magical items.

Daydre: "You know, you can learn something from arguments and mistakes and dissent. Making one mistake and getting killed for it doesn't make things better or more efficient, it just kinda. Leads to people making the same mistake over and over again."

She seems to perk up over the term "take over".

Daydre: "Oh yeah? If you think you can take over this whole airship, I'd like to see you try."

Stormchaser, Ever's Room

Neodymium: ...Well, fine. I'll get on that.

-she runs off-

-it takes her a few minutes to return from the opposite side-

Neodymium: ...Where's everyone else? If it's just you, I can probably take over in a few minutes.

Ever: Oh, are we having a Pokemon battle—

-Neodymium punts Ever in the face-

Ever: This is Molybdenum's fault.

Stormchaser, Ever's Room

Daydre: "Ooh, we're doing this ourselves okay- Aya!"

She unsheathes something that looks remarkably like a Doublade themed serving knife.

Daydre: ".... Oh right that's a child. Hm."

...

Daydre: "Yes, I know I shouldn't stab a child you don't have to lecture me."

...

Daydre: " Well I'm definitely not stabbing this one! Jeez!"

She sheathes the knife again and crosses her arms.

Daydre: "... You sure you don't want to settle this with a Pokemon battle? I'm not allowed to stab you so my options are kinda limited. And you did just kick my friend(?) in the face."

Ever: Are we not friends? :(

Neodymium: ...Well, fine! Didit, let's do this!

Didit: <This'll go over great.>

-she steps forward, putting up her dukes-

Didit: <Can we do this fast? I'm not sure what timezone we're in but there's a sitcom I like to watch in the evenings.>

Daydre: "Uh, I guess I can try? Go, Friendo."

The Charjabug Appears.

Daydre makes a kind of lazy hand gesture and they spring at Didit with a Bug Bite.

-Neodymium frowns-

Didit: <Oh no. I am defeated. How could this happen to me.>

-she collapses, placing one hand over her face-

~Neodymium, we're here for the time being. It's best if you try and lower suspicions.~

Neodymium: ...-sighs- Darn. Okay. I guess I'll train some before I take over.

~You are very bad at lowering suspicions.~

"SURE THING [[little sponge]], YOU CAN BE [[Quality Assurance]] AROUND ME!"

The Pen looked to Gale, then to the odd object they had been handed. Who ya calling?

<Yeah you're just gonna have to get used to the shifting glands in your body, instincts can be overpowered however,> Stylus said. <As for food, there's plenty of food in the park that is also carnivore approved. So focus on that.>

Oliver walked over to Hoops carrying the Tank. <This should help.>

Ribbon however, took notice of the Murkrow. <Uhm... okay...?>

Suddenly a separate voice seemed to emanate from it. Ah sorry about that, we're still fine tuning. Don't worry, Night Bird will be joining. Just let me... adjust.

Stylus stared at the Murkrow, as it slowly seemed to tune itself to be more accurate. <Uhhhhhhh...>

<I think this is Gale/Pent, still trying to get the remote body thing down,> Ribbon commented.

Daydre: "Damn, maybe I should've just fought you with my bare hands."

Neodymium: Oh, please. I'd have won.

Ever: It's got to be past your bedtime, right?

Neodymium: I don't have a bedtime.

Ever: ...Actually, Molybdenum was pretty clear that you do.

Neodymium: Wait, really?

Ever: ...Uh, yeah, she implied it pretty strongly.

Neodymium: ...Where am I supposed to sleep? There's only one room on the ship.

Ever: ...

-sigh-

Take my room. I'll find another.

Neodymium: Where?

-Ever just opens another door and goes through it-

Neodymium: ... (to Daydre) What is this place?

Daydre: "Uh, sentient. Vindictive, if you have ill intent."

She shrugs.

Daydre: "You know. Just living airship things. She probably won't let you like, starve or die or anything and I feel pretty confident that you couldn't get out as you are now so. I think I'm just gonna leave. Yell if you need anything, I'll probably hear you and I feel obligated to help even though you kicked my friend(?) in the face multiple times. Good night(?) I guess."

And unless prompted, she turns around and prepares to hop back in the vents.

-Neodymium has gotten some sleep, and is prepared to face the new day-

-which means she's crawling through some vents-

Neodymium: Pretty big design flaw, huh, Didit?

Didit: ~Do not expect this of me again.~

Neodymium: If the corridors warp space, but you can get around through the vents— aha!

-she kicks open a grate, drops down-

-and finds herself right in front of her door again-

Neodymium: ...Oh, that's clever.

-she sits down, using a few Light Screens to periscope back up the vent-

Neodymium: Hmm. Okay. What would Cassidy do...

-Let's rewind about six seconds.-

-Kai is heading to knock on the door they last remember a particular someone residing in.-

-Knock, knock.-

Kai: Hey, Ever, you in there? I've got a favor to ask—

-They're interrupted by the sound of the vent overhead losing its grate, and step back just in time to avoid a person falling through.-

Kai:

-A familiar person.-

-Just sitting down casually, making a plan of action for something.-

Kai:

-They step back enough to have proper room, and give their most dramatic point.-

-she jumps to her feet, pointing back-

Didit: ~This doesn't need to, and shouldn't be, a thing.~

~Why are you here?~

-Didit is met with a sharp telepathic nail on a telepathic chalkboard.-

Kai: I live here! Well, I live in a few places, but this is one of them! What are you doing here?

-Didit frowns-

~You are making communication more difficult than it needs to be.~

Neodymium: Uh, I think I'm in witness protection, sort of?

Why would you live here? It sucks. There aren't even any other rooms.

Kai: ...Ohhhhh I see what's going on now.

-The metaphorical nail floats about a millimeter away from the chalkboard.-

Kai: Welcome to the Truant life! The Stormchaser has a sense of humor, especially if she threw you at Ever's room. There's more rooms if you actually want to make a home here! But you evidently do not, so.

-They let down their dramatic pointing hand and sit down by the door-

Kai: So, kid, what's your story?

Hoops looks up at Oliver and the tank that he's carrying. <Just when I thought I couldn't hate being a Magikarp anymore. Look, let me tempt fate: could this get any worse? Since I did it ironically I think I'm safe.> They pause. <Go on then, put me in there.>

Neodymium: I'm not a Truant. I did everything I was supposed to except get liquidated properly. Molybdenum and Bela stuck me here instead of properly liquidating me and I don't know why.

Kai: They were going to what

-They gesture a bit-

Kai: Liquidate you??? Why??? You're literally the most Schoolkid-y Schoolkid I've met. Why wouldn't they want to have you??? Who do I have to fight to get them to change your test results

Neodymium: What? You don't change test results. Besides, I'm a failure, look.

-she makes some lasers-

Neodymium: That's all I can do. They're making a new model of me who's better at stuff. Dr. Tran told me that because they were proud of the work I did.

-she draws herself up a bit-

You're awfully naive for a Templar. Being a Truant must have made you go soft, huh?

-Kai blinks-

Kai: What? No, that was a lie, anyone can see I'm not a Templar. I was doing a bit. Look, I'm not even Psychic.

-They wave their fingers, and a pulse of Aura radiates and then retreats into them.-

Kai: Anyone's able to call themself anything, fun fact! I wasn't even Kai originally, but I am now. "The Radiant" just sounded cool.

-They grin-

Kai: Anyway I'm going to fight them all even more now. They really told you that was all you could do?

Weird. Isn't the point of names and titles to be able to identify someone? How can you do that if it keeps changing around?

And it is all I can do. I don't have any special telekinesis or telepathy or warping abilities. That's how it works.
