The ship lurched and the engines fired, the ship flew off at high speeds away from the tower as it finally began to collapse.

Fox was the first to speak up, "Is it just me or are supervillains some form of load bearing nonsense for their bases?"

A red haired woman was taking the garbage out when she looked out in the distance, and saw a collapsing factory, she blinked, a confused look appearing in her brown eyes.

"Huh..." and then she saw it, a airship darting out away from the wreckage, and the confusion grew, but somehow, she suspected it was familiar.

"What in the hell?"

Miranda could only ponder what had happened.

Jackal stood at the head of the table in the meeting room, the ship still going at high speeds, Fox looked a little dazed and confused.

~I think I speak for everyone when I say... what the fuck... that mission, the hell happened in there?~

"Believe me Hacks... I wonder the same thing," Jackal responded, "Bishop, did we get anything?"

"Just old endoskeleton designs Captain. Nothing here that we don't already know."

Jackal took a deep inhale, "Alright, thoughts everyone? Anyone have any idea how or why Braun managed to turn himself into a digital ghost?"

Nonono, I am the source. I brought vampires into this world I need to take responsibility.

The right words spoken by the right people can change reality. I once asked a guard to say two sentences and from that this entire mess of vampires and vampire hunters sprung forth. And now slowly and steadily my friends are getting themselves drained and turned into those things and I have to somehow explain to a group of trigger-happy hunters that it's okay to let some vampires live as long as I can vouch for them.
