ITT: We are all Pokémon Trainers

Artoria and Mordred, to some disappointment and some elation, return to normal magical girls pokemon-turned-human.

Cynthia's pegasus, to her disappointment, disappears.

Severa, sans transformation item, returns to being a Fomantis.

F!Robin, to her delight, keeps her newfound Thoron tome.

F!Grima!Robin loses most, though not all, of her connection to Grima, the multiversal barriers fading to their normal tattered state.

F!Grima!Robin: "   Those insolent worms... they merely delay the inevitable with their futile struggling.   "

She floats ominously at the edge of a cliff, staring out over Hoenn, her robes billowing.

Kasumi sits next to her, reading her tome.

F!Grima!Robin: "   I will find a way to regain my power, to transcend this limiting form.   "

"   And this world, too, will fall to ruin.   "

Kasumi: "Yeah. That. Woo, end of the world."

All are significantly abnormal in a normal world... All are significantly normal in an abnormal world.

-It is a shame the events of April Fools end at midnight.-

-Thankfully, some events haven't hit midnight yet, now, have they?-

Illusion Grunt would like to battle!

-The Grunt sends out a Nidorina.-

Nidorina: <Oooooh this is so cool you guys!>

-Violent Knight is hit by the Dragon Pulses, and blinded temporarily by the Blinding Beams. As well, she is struck by what amounds to an arrow cloaked in a Shadow Claw, thanks to Hollow's Long Reach.-

Violent Knight: <   Aaaack!   >

-She lobs the dropped spear at Cynthia, then kicks up a Stealth Rock cloud all around her.-

-Meanwhile, Starling Artist is lunged at with Cynthia's second spear, and squawks.-

Starling Artist: <Ow! Bringing weapons into a fight like this, huh?>

-She grins, careening past her and hip-checking her with a Brave Bird, before flying up into the middle of the Stealth Rock cloud. With a huge flap of her wings, the floating stones go flying out in every direction.-

Starling Artist used... uh... some sort of Rock-type attack, I guess?

-Soleil squeaks in surprise, using what amounts to a weak Whirlwind to blow away some of the stones flying at her and Semigloss.-

Soleil: <Aaaah that could have been really bad! Are you okay, Glossie?>

-Kattraea, meanwhile, is not so lucky, and is hit hard by the stones. She squawks, before getting her balance.-

Kattraea: <These don't seem to be normal circumstances... I think it's time to resort to some emergency measures!>

-Out of hammerspace, she pulls what is apparently a small talon-fitted crossbow, which she takes a shot at Starling Artist with.-

Starling Artist: <Ow, hey! Stop thaaaaaat...>

-And suddenly, she drifts out of consciousness.-

Starling Artist fell asleep!

Alakazam!Sholto: <Oh, I came here to handle some stuff, find Gogie, see if my license came in... yeah!>

Gogie: <It's fine... Hazard's still gone, though...>

Alakazam!Sholto: <Hey, we'll get him back!>

Slateport, today, post-battle

Yarne changes back from his Taguel form to a Nidorino one.

Yarne: <...Huh. Did I get bigger or something?>

As well, Virion and Ellie change into a Dartrix and Spearow, respectively. They seem a bit more startled by this.

Ellie: <Agh! Why am I a bird? This really doesn't feel like it fits the part where we just drove off the big bad...>

Virion: <I... am similarly confused. Though, whatever happened seems to have happened with our companions as well.>

-Sumia brandishes her spear...and promptly falls as she turns into a Tropius and her pegasus disappears.-

Sumia: <Universe, why must you hurt me in this way?>

"Dang that sure is totally poggers my good bitch"

<I think I might know where they are. I overheard Jay talk about the Macrauls and offer a weremon Charizard, I'm guessing that's them?>

Silas stretched, human at last, a clean set of clothes on his back, and the scarf before him, "You brought me so much trouble..."

It would be so easy to just toss it away, never see it again, make it so that he could not be caught so easily, he didn't like the idea of being contained in a pokeball, it's why he kept his team out so much.

To not risk becoming a pokemon again, he had trained quite a bit with Aura, Silas had kept his promise... he no longer needed the scarf.

And yet, Silas picked up the scarf and packed it away in his bag, he wanted it, he liked being a Lucario, when he wasn't being told to hurt other people at the very least. Silas had accepted that part of him, and he wasn't about to give it up, though, "I'm not going to use you as much."

He looked over his team, "Man we missed a lot... anybody got any ideas on how to catch up on things?"

<Time travel,> Snakeye suggested.

"There are pokemon that can induce time travel Captain," Bishop added.

Silas blinked, "Okay how would that even work?"

Jacket is tossed back, but gets up, gripping his baseball bat hard, he clicks his Walkman once more, "Do you know what time it is?"

He could barely see straight, but that hadn't stopped him before, he rushed at Veld getting ready to swing.

Lita wakes up hungover on the couch. She rolls off it and lands on Waspinator.

<Yaaaaah!>

"Uh sorry Waspy."

She groggily stands up and looks around.

"...the fuck happened yesterday."

Silas sighs, <I need to rest...>

Delta looked over the request, ran back through his recent jobs, and realized who it was.

"Okay. Job accepted."

Lita sees Kai.

"You."

She runs over, almost bowling into her.

"What the hell was that?"

Kai: Hmm?

-She instinctively catches Lita before she tumbles right into her.-

Kai: I have a vague idea of what you're probably talking about, but could you be more specific?

Gogie: <Yeah... same, really...>

Gogie lies down on his bed after seeing the 'job accepted', wondering on some level if this was really a good idea. But... he wanted Hazard back and it's too late to change now.

-Semigloss is not okay. Looking at her, she's buried under a small pile of rocks-

-it seems as though, possibly, she used Roost before the attack hit, to restore some health-

-and more importantly rid herself of the Flying-type, bracing against the attack-

-she pushes her way out of the rocks, and points a wing covered in bent cotton at the Violent Knight-

<You can't keep a hero down for long!>

Ever: This is very uncomfortable.

Brie: You kind of look like Da—

Ever: No.

-...-

Ever: Frey. Have you gotten rid of your connections to everyone else? And I do mean everyone.

Frey: (morosely) <Yes.>

Ever: Okay. Thank you.

-...-

Frey: <What are you going to do now? I don't want to be alone again...>

-Ever sighs-

PEFE!Every: You can go to PEFE HQ.

Frey: <Huh?>

PEFE!Every: You wouldn't be the first Pokemon we've rehabilitated. You'll likely be under some guard to make sure you don't try possessing anyone again, but...you won't be alone.

-...-

Frey: <...Alright.>

-the Memito Complex is sitting around, looking rather drained. Amanita, after her adventure with the furniture store, is fast asleep. Brie is reading a book, and not really making eye contact with PEFE!Every-

PEFE!Every: I'm sorry.

Ever: It's fine.

PEFE!Every: I just...after Mom and Dad...after Unigma. I couldn't abandon them.

Ever: I understand.

PEFE!Every: Okay...

-she curls up, looking fairly miserable. Ever just stares at the ceiling-

Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything.

Kai: Right, yes, that was your first experience with the J-Team's absolutely fucking weird April Fools Days. I've got my theories about why it happens — the first reported occasion of the recurring phenomenon happened days after the defeat of 'M, the second glitch the J-Team dealt with, so I think some sort of glitch essence just gathers around us when it reaches a certain point of the year and all hell breaks loose. It almost always clears up the day after. It looks like it did for you, certainly.

-She smiles.-

Kai: That said, you look like you could use some hangover treatment. Wanna go get some hot chocolate? It helps.

"Hrmmm, m'kay. C'mon Waspinator."

The beemon climbs up her leg and hangs out on her back.

"So basically bullshit just happens one day of the year?"

Kai: Yeah, pretty much. I mean, bullshit happens frequently, but this one day of the year is the only consistent example. That said, I did manage to stay out of the fallout this time! Barely.

-She waves to the Memitoplex as she starts to head out-

After getting some sleep, Leo woke up with AC asleep in the bed next to him.

Suddenly, Cerbeau comes out of his Ball, holding a party popper.

Cerbeau: <Happy Birthday!>

In another room in the same hallway, Blitzwing woke up in the middle of the bed, turned back into a Hydreigon.

Random!Blitzwing: *notices he's back to normal, and disappointed* <Aww...>

-Brie flashes Kai a smile and waves back, but it's reflective of a different base energy level from the two faemitos rather than really being less tired-

Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything.

Kai: Those are the Memitos! They're not actually all named Memito but it's a complex situation. They're all beautiful people. Ever and I are buds 💜, Brie and I are kinda up in the air, Every's gray and shouldn't be confused with Ever, and Amanita... is, uh, purple. I fought her once in the PWT. Haven't really interacted with her much honestly and it looks like now isn't going to change that.
