Guys, I kind of have something to tell you.

I'm kinda-sorta in a...relationship. It's not official yet though since we're still trying to figure out how we feel about this.

-My Pokemon look shocked-

Roc: <Who's the lucky girl?>

I still partially think she's nuts for wanting to date me, but anyway, you'll meet her later.

Yin: <See, see! He has the right idea! Go and warn people! Doom is coming!>

Felis: -facepaw-

-My Aggron walks over to Steel, raising a hand in greeting-

Aggron: <Wow. Didn't expect to see another Aggron here>

HotStuff: (walks over to me) <You know, DS. I like those new Pokémon, they all seem pretty tough. Although, I've noticed that some of them don't really seem to know that many attacks that cover their weaknesses.>

Well... Yeah. Some Unova Pokémon seem to lack several options of attacks of different types to cover their weakness like that. It might've helped if there were some move tutors in Unova.

HotStuff: (shrugs) <Maybe. So, DS? When will you introduce us to the other trainers that you told us about meeting in Unova?>

Well, they're not really here right now, but I'll introduce them to you later.

HotStuff: <... Okay.>

So... Why don't you guys go introduce yourself to some of the other trainer's new Pokémon in the meantime? Or say hi to some of the ones you've already met?

Jello: <YES! WE HAVE TO WARN EVERYONE! IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT!!!>

Flare: <Hey...>

-Flare walks over.-

Flare: <Is Jello bothering you? He tends to get a bit worried about...Just about everything.>

Jello: <BUT IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD!!!>

-Flare briefly looks around.-

Flare: <...Doesn't look like the end of the world to me.>

Felis: <A Pokemon more paranoid than Yin? What is the world coming to?>

At least Yin has the excuse that he can sense impending disasters. Supposedly.

-Nadia flies up, descends gradually and then abruptly flies up again, repeating this process 4 times before landing-

<Vlad: "Pretty good... Though you really need to learn how to steer soon... How's it feel?">

<Nadia: "Is it supposed to feel this awkward?">

<Vlad: "Well ideally your ascents should be a lot more gradual when you're not divebombing, but no, what you've been doing is fine for a beginner.">

<Nadia: "But I've seen Draca fly, and she never goes down to the ground when she flies...">

<Vlad: "She doesn't, but she's doing the same process that you've been doing in the air. Just with smaller ascents and descents.">

<Nadia: "... But how does she keep going fast enough to avoid falling out of the sky or having to land?">

<Vlad: "Well if she were a member of my species, she'd just catch a gust of wind to keep going... But...">

-Points to membranes along back-

<Vlad: "As you can see, we're not really alike... You'll have to ask Draca how she does it...">

<Draca: "Oh. Alright...">

"We're here, guys."

-Enters the outer reaches of Sandgem Town with team-

<Milo: "Well this is better than that dump that we left earlier... Marginally...">

<Shaun: "Isn't there a Pokecenter in this town, Tracer?">

"Yeah, there is, wh- Oh."

-Remembers that Lardna's battle from yesterday-

<Lardna: "Eh, I don't really need it, Tracer. I've had some time to rest...">

"Still, it couldn't hurt..."

<Lardna: "True.">

"I guess we should make a stop by the local Pokecenter before we go to try and find Dr. Tagg..."

-Towards the back of the group-

<Vlad: "Was I helpful, Nadia?">

<Nadia: "Yeah, I really appreciated your help out on the route...">

<Vlad: "Heh... Thanks...">

-An awkward pause-

<Vlad: "Nadia... Are you still mad at Tracer?">

<Nadia: "Mmph. And so what if I am?">

<Vlad: "... You plan on forgiving him eventually don't you?">

-Nadia narrows her eyes at Vlad-

<Nadia: "That's none of your business, Vlad.">

<Vlad: "I'm just saying... Life's too short to spend it living in the past. If you harbor a grudge against someone all your life, you'll wind up missing out on everything that you could have enjoyed with that someone...">

<Nadia: "... Alright, who told you to tell me that, Vlad?">

<Vlad: "Shaun did, but you have to admit Nadia... He has a point.">

<Nadia: "Hmph... I'll think about it...">

-Enters Sandgem Pokecenter with team-

Vanilluxe: -Is floating directly over HotStuff-

HotStuff: (glancing over at Jello) <... What is that strange green Pokémon freaking out about?>

Oh, I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. That's just one of the Pokémon Luke caught in Unova. You remember Luke, right?

HotStuff: (nods) <Yeah, I remember him. He's the one who got turned into a Totodile when you went to that Pokémon only world.> (notices Vanilluxe) <Oh, uh... Hello there.>

-Flare turns her attention to Mezzo's Pokémon.-

Flare: <I'm sorry if he bothered you.>

-Flare carries the squirming Reuniclus off.-

Vanilluxe: -Gets really close to HotStuff's face- <Hi, what's your name?>

Okay, I think it's time to pack up. Yin, Sunny, Nevermore, you're going back to the PC. Everyone else, you're staying with me.

-returns her team to the PC-

Off to school, and then brother's graduation ceremony after that. Probably won't be back until much later.

HotStuff: <Uh... My name is HotStuff.> (thinking) Huh, Unova sure has some... interesting species of Pokémon.

Jello: <EVERYMON! THE END OF THE WORLD IS NIGH!!!>

-My team give Jello sceptical looks.-

Woolly: <Come on Jello, the worlds not ending. Right Lake?>

Alright then, they said Professor uh-Rowan was it? Yeah...is supposed to have a lab here. This place is huge though. This place is a bit bigger than I thought, but no matter. Hmmm....I'll try the outskirts of town then.

-A short time later, after having my team healed-

<Milo: "Well what is there to do in this town?">

<Shaun: "Doesn't Professor Rowan have a lab here, Tracer?">

"He does... Though why would everyone-"

-Remembers that Tagg mentioned that he was planning on meeting up with his other Pokemon-

<Teala: "Should we go over there, then?">

"I guess it couldn't hurt..."

Vanilluxe: -Is still very close to HotStuff <Nice to meet you HotStuff, I'm Vanilluxe.>

Audilith: -Walks over- <Vanilluxe, you're creeping her out.>

Vanilluxe: <Oh, sorry about that.> -Gives HotStuff some room-

Velvet: (looking over at Luke's Pokémon) <... The end of the world? Ha! Like DS would ever let that happen!>

Silvermist: <Um... DS is quite powerful, but why would you think that she would be able to prevent something like that?>

Velvet: <The girl has saved the world before, and with my help, she can do it again!>

Silvermist: <... With our help, Velvet.>

Velvet: <Oh, of course!>

HotStuff: <Well... Nice to meet you, Vanilluxe.> (looks over at Audilith) <How about you? What is your name?>

Sol: <Hello Velvet.>

-Sol strides confidently over to the Espeon.-

Sol: <I'm Sol, do you remember me from our when our trainers were fighting against Missingo. here in Sinnoh?>

Audilith: <I'm Audilith, and I'm a Gigalith.>

Velvet: (looks over at Sol) <Hmm... Yeah, I remember you. We didn't really get to talk much back then. How have you been doing?>

HotStuff: <Oh, that's cool. I'm an Infernape, by the way.>

Sol: <I've been fine, as has the rest of my team. Some remarkably peculiar things have happened since we last met though. Would you believe me if I told you that my trainer fell in love with a Legendary?>

Audilith: <Oh, I know what species you are, Gamer has one of you.>

-Hydreigon comes over-

Hydreigon: <Draca and Garchomp have no idea where the food is, so I'm asking you guys.>

Velvet: <Wow, really?>

Sol: <Yes, he fell in love with Reshiram, the white Tao Dragon of truth from Unovan mythology. They actually got on really well together, until a few days ago when she broke up with him for Zekrom, the other Tao Dragon. He seems fine about it though. So I guess I shouldn't be too worried about that.
