-At that point, I was determined to isolate myself. Out of shame, out of fear, out of many reasons to stay away from the outside world.-

Shadedrake Island, about 575 years ago

-Umbra is standing outside, as if waiting for someone. Lumos is next to him-

-But I remembered Duolis’ promise, and so I waited for her-

-And waited. And waited…-

Shadedrake Island, about 525 years ago

-Until…-

Umbra: She… She’s not coming…

-He retreats into the temple. Lumos, concerned, follows-

-My heart broke. And I lost all hope.-

Shadedrake Island, 300 years ago

-From then on, I was more determined than ever to shut myself away; not only to avoid causing pain to others, but to avoid causing pain to myself.-

-Umbra has shut himself off in the deepest part of the temple. Styx, Lumos, and Mata Nui have all gathered around him-

Lumos: <Umbra… You aren’t being fair to yourself…>

Umbra: –turned away- No… It’s all I deserve…

Mata Nui: <We can’t stay here forever…>

Umbra: Then what do we do? Expose ourselves and face the judgment of the entire world?

Styx: <I… I just want to see you happy again…>

-After a while, the Ghosts just walk away sadly-

-It was like that for centuries.-

Shadedrake Island, a little less than two years ago

-Then, one day…

-Umbra is led outside to Mata Nui by Styx and Lumos. He removes his hood and winces-

Umbra: Ack… Sunlight…

-He shakes his head-

Anyway, what did you want to show me, Mata Nui?

Mata Nui: <Well, I was out patrolling the island when I stumbled across this!>

-Hands Umbra a strange parchment…-

-Which turns out to be a brochure for visiting Unova-

Umbra: This… This is…

-He looks through it, fascinated-

The world… It’s changed so much… But how did this end up all the way out here?

-Then, in the sky, he happens to notice a cloud formation resembling Giratina’s face-

-As he stares at it, wind blows across the formation to make it seem like it’s winking-

-For the first time in 600 years, Umbra smiles-

-It was then I realized… My lord had forgiven me. Not only that, he had shown me a new world, one rife with possibilities.-

-There was hope after all.-

-Umbra turns to his mons-

Everyone? I have decided it would behoove us to leave this abandoned island and forge a new path in a new world.

-The ghostmons cheer-

Lumos: <Where do we start?>

Umbra: Let’s try Hoenn! It’s close by and is sure to have changed in bountiful ways!

-And so, everyone hops onto Mata Nui, who rockets off-

-It was shortly after that that I met the J-Team.-

-And… well, you all know the story from there.-

Jacob: -Stumbles forward, and whirls around to look at the one who made himself known- "........."

-He puts a hand on Regina's shoulder, and reluctantly she lowers the Protect- "...... You... you know me? .... I'm not sure whether or not to feel flattered or threatend."

-The figure, who is wearing a Cipher uniform that has been repainted with the Galactic colours and a Snag Machine over his arm, takes a step towards Jacob.-

???: The latter would be more appropriate. And if you do not recall who I am, then I will take a moment to jog your memory. The name "Titan" is familiar to you, is it not?

Orre - South of Agate

Jacob: -See's the Snag Machine, and even though he doesn't know what it is, he can guess what it does and recalls Regina-

-When the figure reveals his name, Jacob feels a chill and sinking feeling in his chest, though he does his best not to show any emotion save for a cold hard glare-

".... So then.... you're Titan..."

-He flashes back to something Alice said at the Unova League-

"You don't find Titan unless he wants you to find him."

"I see. Then the best way to find him would be to give him a reason to want to be found."

-He unclips a Pokeball from his belt.-

Titan: Hmm... Gamma, Focus Blast. Aim carefully.

-Gamma nods, then charges up a large ball of energy in his mouth before sending it hurling into the sandstorm.-
